Y’all know how hot it is and I was really thinking we would have to move to a hotel for a couple of days! Thank you rivers reliable service you saved the day!!
Very honest. He fixed what needed to be fixed. Another company wanted to charge me over a $1000 to fix what Rivers fixed for half the price. The repair man, Mo came after hours to help because my house was 98 degrees. Highly recommended.
I came home to discover my heat was blowing out cold air. I contacted rivers reliable and was scheduled for the next day. Mo, my service provider, had once already been to my house to service my ac and to no surprise it was the same, respectable and honest work. He knew exactly what the problem was and was quick to troubleshoot and fix my heat! I will be a forever customer to rivers reliable.
I called about a heating problem on Fri afternoon, and thankfully, Mo showed up first thing Saturday morning to diagnose the problem. He was able to pick up the part Monday morning and had my heat working before noon! How refreshing to find and receive reliable, professional service! I will definitely use Rivers Reliable Services again and will proudly refer Mo every chance I get!
UPDATE: As it turns out, the day after my first post, Mo Rivers (the owner of the company) followed up. ALL DAY. So I gave Rivers Reliable another shot...I called him back he explained that he was out of town and he genuinely apologized for his tech being non-responsive.
Mo, very professionally, resolved any issues I was having with my heating and in a very timely manner. I called him back on the Friday before Christmas week and he offered to come back anytime Saturday or Sunday or both days if needed. Anyhow, my heat and A/C work perfectly and I couldn't be happier. Thanks Rivers Reliable! ------------------------------------------ If I could give 0 stars I would. How this business is highly rated is beyond me. Never again!
I submitted a claim through my warranty company to fix my heat (replace reversing valve and recharge). River (Un)Reliable was assigned. It took 3 days to respond. Another few days to come out to diagnose. And another week and a half to set appointment to fix the issue (I was told it would be a few days).
Appointment day comes around (my hopes were not high) and they no showed to the 8 -12 appointment, didn't even call. So I reach out and I'm told the technician is running late (thanks, captain obvious) and he will call me when he's 30 minutes away. Welp, that was yesterday and I have still yet to see a tech or talk to anyone from this God awful company. I'm not reaching out again bc they never answer the phone and takes days to return VM's.
So I'm done! Rivers Unreliable lost a customer and a valuable referral source in my home warranty company.
The technician was timely, respectful and very knowlegeable. He explained everything he was doing and took the time to instruct me on how to use my new Thermostat. Great visit.
It took him 44 days to fix our A/C unit. Wouldn't return calls and kept putting us off. After it was finally installed, he left the old unit and said he'd be back for it and after almost 4 more weeks, he still hasn't come back to get it. Find someone else to do the work you need done!
In reading some of the reviews (which I should have done before wasting time with this bunch) I got the same runaround and lies that other former customers in these reviews got. My home warranty company uses them for HVAC service. This company scheduled an appointment but then never showed up, never called to reschedule, and never answered their telephone when I tried to follow up with them. Then, they lied to my home warranty company by saying they had tried to call me...but of course my phone shows all incoming calls taken or missed and they certainly had not. This is an unprofessional company. If the quality of their HVAC work is anything like the quality of their office\scheduling work, beware!

Get a real AC company. They don’t show up to appointments and don’t call until a hr past when they were supposed to be there. And no one to call and talk to who actually helps the customer out. And don’t waste your time with home warranty programs. They send the bottom of the barrel companies to work on your home.
