There is not enough space to write what an amazing job and service Pleasant Air Conditioning provided! On a Sunday morning, In the heat of July in Charleston, one of my AC units decided it was her time. I called that morning, they were at my house within 2 hours (ON A SUNDAY!) and my unit was changed FIRST THING the following morning! Not only were they extremely knowledgeable on the problem and solution options, every single member of their team from the owner, the install personnel to their receptionist are absolutely amazing to work with! Experienced, quick, and kind! I found my HVAC group for life.

Jeremy came out on a hot weekend to help us. We had a very old unit from the '80s and the compressor blew. We knew we would need a new a/c. They created a better stand, hood and installed the thermostat. They helped us understand how it works, various availability of parts, location of the stores in the area and returned to check on us. Thank you again! Very reliable and knowledgeable.

Pleasant Air installed our central air and heat a year ago. They were highly recommended by a neighbor and we are sure glad they were. Their prices were very competitive and since the installation, they have answered all our questions and have been out twice so far with no charge to do winter and summer maintenance. Just had our entire hvac system replaced with Pleasant Air as well as had our cold air return enlarged and new duct work. Jeremys crew came around 9 am and worked all day getting our new system hooked up. The front bedrooms in our house were never cool in the summer but now with the new system and duct work we can feel nice cool air blowing! His crew identified the problem that caused us to have four coils and the condenser go out over the past ten years. I use Nextdoor for recommendations for home services and Pleasant Air was repeatedly recommended. You can’t go wrong with Pleasant Air!

Two days before leaving on a week's vacation I had Jeremy come check my system, as it was making horrible noises. I'd planned on turning it off while away. They had been by in October with an honest assessment that I would be replacing this system soon.
After checking the compressor, etc. the news was: "What are you doing tomorrow?"
They showed up on time, and a couple of hours later they had moved a plant (replanted it for me!) and moved the location of the outside unit to the side of the house from under the MBR window. A hurricane proof concrete slab was put down. I realized that my old unit had not been putting out much heat.
I programmed the new thermostat for AWAY and went on vacation, confident about my new system. It has been great and quiet. I figured out the wireless and have the timing set night and day.
I want to say that Jeremy and Lauren and the crew are tops. It is what you hope for when you have a big situation like this - courteous, timely, neat and well priced. They even helped me with my Dominion rebate.
There are a lot of recommendations out there but you don't need to look any further than Pleasant Air Conditioning and Electric.

Jeremy came out on short notice on Saturday! Did NOT charge me double for a week-end service call. Long story short I tried to get another carrier to do the work on Sunday because Jeremy could not come back until Monday. 2nd Carrier came out on Sunday but could not fix until Monday, on Monday 2nd Carrier never came back due to an emergency so I called Jeremy again and he sent someone out within an hour. They had to get the part and due to a little Tropical Storm could not install until Tuesday morning. Jeff showed up on time, was super professional and quickly had my air up and running. I would highly recommend Pleasant Air Conditioning. Efficient, on time and affordable and just really nice people!

Jeremy, the owner, is very personable and prompt with communications, and his staff is punctual and so incredibly nice and knowledgeable. They did a wonderful job installing and repiping our system and even cleaned up after themselves, made sure we understood how to program the system, as well as a thorough follow up thereafter. Everything was handled professionally, from the estimate through the installation of a complete new HVAC system. I dealt with the business owner, estimator, technicians and office staff, and all were great. The price for the top-quality Trane equipment was the best among all those I contacted in the Charleston area. They improved our ductwork, which substantially increased airflow to the farthest rooms. This was the easiest and most-value-for-the-money HVAC transaction I've ever experienced, and I've been through 6 system replacements in various homes in my life, so that's saying something!
