Unlike other reviews I did not have the same experience. I bought my house a couple months ago and have never had a tankless water heater before. A Gas Doctors sticker was on the panel so I called to find out the last time it was serviced. I was told three years ago someone came out and serviced it and replaced a part. I was advised to have someone come out to service it as it should be done every 2 years. I made an appointment. It was set for anytime between 12 and 4. The technician showed up after 4! We went to the tankless water heater and he told me my system looked to be installed by a hack. That alarmed me but thankfully I called for a technician. I then assumed he would service it to make it more like how it should be. Well, he took out a measurement tool to measure the combustion and told me that was fine. He then told me I'm going to need to buy a new one in a year or two. Pointed out some problems like corrosion and a small leak. He told me my water pump is going to fail soon as well. He screwed the cover back on, went to his truck and came back with the invoice of $150.00. That was it. He did no service to it after admitting it was installed improperly and had obvious defects. The heater was leaking water!!! He did not even fix that. The technician who came out three years ago serviced the heater but this technician obviously thought this one was not worth his time. I called Gas Doctor because they advertise that they SERVICE gas equipment. This time Gas Doctor saw a problem and wanted nothing to do with it. So if you want to pay $150.00 to be told your gonna need a new water heater call these guys. I prefer to have a company fix a problem, not pass it off.

The last thing I wanted to do on my birthday was deal with a costly time consuming repair. I called the Gas Dr because I was referred to them by a relative who spoke very highly of their technicians and customer service reps. They were quick to show up and got right to work I was pleased to see how professional and knowledgeable they were since I have had bad experiences with other companies in the past. Normally I don’t take the time to post reviews but their outstanding service and care deserves recognition. Although I hope I don’t run into anymore issues in the future, I know if I do I will be calling The Gas Dr. Highly recommend

The first tech came and diagnosed the problem right away. He told me that unfortunately the part would be expensive. He started checking and called the supplier, no luck. He then made a call to the manufacturer that made the hot water tank and found out that the control unit was still covered. It was shipped that day. The tech saved me hundreds of dollars by not being lazy and took the time to do some research. The second day another tech arrived and installed the part in no time. Very professional and efficient operation!

Irving our technician had incredible knowledge on our 50 year old gas furnace! He was thorough with the cleaning and annual maintenance. I cannot say enough about the grest service that we received.

Patrick Rooney is wonderful! He "left no stone unturned" while cleaning and checking our boiler. He is very knowledgeable and explained the issues in "lay" terms. I felt comfortable with his assessment and advice. He is also very polite and approachable.

Called Gas Doctor ( not even knowing about them ) for a second opinion after another company red tagged my furnace for high PPM and told me that the 22 year old furnace was junk and needed to be replaced. Patrick Rooney came in and took one look at it and new what was wrong immediately. He made necessary adjustments and retested everything. Got it down to 47 PPM and saved my furnace and a lot of money. I will be calling them for now on. THANK YOU.

I hired The Gas Doctor in the fall of 2014. This winter being the most brutal of them all, was the first winter in the past 20 years I went without multiple incidents! They are very experienced and knowledgable, and FINALLY fixed all the craziness that was going on with my boiler. I probably went through about five different companies, and no one could get it done, or obviously didn't know what they were doing. And purchasing an annual contract, is definitely a great investment! Makes sense. Love this company!
