I have a 5 ton byrne AC installed in my home by overlake, the cooling coil is directly connected to the duct pipe that is only 22 x 10 inch. This was really a bad installation because the strong air flow is immediately blocked by the inadequate size duct pipe and causing water leaks and damages. I am very disappointed that the company refused to acknowledge the problem and fix this.
I had reached out to Overlake Heating and Air Conditioning for exploring air conditioning options for my house. I was extremely impressed with the owner Robert's in-depth knowledge, the comprehensive assessment he performed on the existing system, and recommending the right cooling solution for the house at a very competitive price. Throughout the process, he was very accessible in answering all questions and evaluating all options to ensure the homeowner makes a very informed decision. Overlake Heating and Air Conditioning will be my first consideration when I am ready for new HVAC installation.
I'm very happy with the service and installation of my new Bryant furnace by the team at Overlake Heating in Redmond, WA. Rob is very informative and helpful in recommending the best solution for my needs. JP and Gerranimo did a great job with the installation and were professional in every way. I also appreciate the responsiveness and timeliness of the whole team. Everyone made the whole experience for me seem easy and a very good value for the products and service . I strongly encourage anyone looking for an upgrade to work with Overlake Heating and Air Conditioning.
I have used Overlake Heating and Air Conditioning in the past for furnace and air conditioning maintenance and they were excellent. However, I did not realize how amazing they are until my hot water tank went out. They understand the importance of a hot shower and scheduled to replace my tank faster than I could have hoped for. Extremely responsive and very reasonably priced, I would never look anywhere else. Thanks to Robert and Patty for expediting my service!!!
I am so happy with the troubleshooting that Darryl performed on our mini split unit. He showed me how we did not need to replace a part, but instead give a thorough cleaning. Previous HVAC technicians (from other companies) did not perform basic QC steps to test components. Darryl was patient, and answered my questions. We will be using Overlake again for HVAC needs.
TOP QUALITY / THE BEST – and at a very competitive $ price too. Quoted 5 HVAC places for a 100% ZERO CARBON HVAC system as the entire family is going 100% carbon natural as we replace items like gas furnaces and gas hot water heaters etc. Rob was great and gave a detailed quote and additionally VERY detailed answers to all our technically deep questions (also set up for home expansion plans, AND add on that the system even heats the garage now). When you have a competitive price, it is NOT about the least expensive, its about who does the best quality installation AND follow-up support/tech support!!!! The Overlake team was 100% there after the installation to ensure all the features, including the Mobile App system control was all set up and working. Even more is when one item came up, we called back and they were very good about handling that too. HIGH-Quality installation too. Ask them questions because they know their industry and give the reality answers.
Got an estimate from another contractor to fix our furnace, over $5K and recommended replacement. Mathew from Overlake came, personable, knowledgeable, not on commission, showed me just what needed fixing and why and what was OK. Repairs took less than 3 hours, including cleaning and servicing for under $1600. Great job, thanks.
Excellent installation of water heater and Bryant gas heater and air conditioning system. Very skilled and professional crew.100 percent satisfied.
Extremely professional from start to finish, I had to reschedule the installation of a new water heater a few times, owing to holiday travel delays, but these guys took it in their stride and made themselves available as soon as I got back home. The installation crew were courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend them!
Rob and his team were able to fit us in and quickly install a new furnace for my parents during our recent cold snap. We were very greatful. Thank you Rob.
We are the new property owners for our house and the previous owner installed furnace with Overlake. So when the furnace broke down, we reached out and asked if they can send someone to take a look and maybe replace it. So instead of helping us to schedule a visit and showing a tiny bit of sympathy, the customer service member Katie gaslighted us with a bunch of questions, I.e. “you guys are not listed as the property owners so who are you guys calling from” (how is this freaking related??? and our names are on the property for 10000%), do you know what was the problem ( why would I call you if I knew???!!!!!) , why did the PSE folk shut down your gas( I explained only 5 times that we had a leak!!!!). NOT HELPFUL AT ALL!!! We later spoke to another staff Nicole and she’s was super nice and supportive. Definitely the worst customer experience ever since with the first representative who did NOT help at all and made us feel like it was our fault “breaking” the furnace. Mind blowing
We were able to get a new furnace and air conditioner within 4 days of calling - super helpful during the cold weather. The wrong size furnace came in but they came back within as couple of hours same day and finished the whole jo .
If you're looking for a reliable and honest heating company, look no further. Robert expedited his services upon finding out that my heater had just broken. I cannot rave more about Jack and Adam. They stayed in my house an entire day installing a new furnace in and by the time they left, my family was warm again. Jack and Adam did a phenomenal job and were courteous, respectful, knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommended.
JP and his crew were outstanding and professional in their work. Showed up on time, promptly at 9 am, put down drop cloths where they walked inside the house, showed me the plan for removing the old unit and installing the new, we’re quiet, and worked a 14 hour day to make sure the job was completed on time. I wouldn’t hesitate at all to recommend them as a heating and ac co tractor. Thank you guys son much for a job well done !
I spent $2600+ with Overlake Heating and Air Conditioning in 2021. They did endless testing only to replace the same thing they had before. My AC did not in fact work for longer than a few days over the course of two weeks in the first part of October. I had another HVAC company come out in 2022 and look at it and they informed me that the wires were crossed that go to the compressor which would explain the broken compressor. I wrote a letter to Overlake explaining and requesting either a refund for my faulty service and/or some proration of my broken AC unit. Rob Rice, who said he was the owner, called me. I answered calmly and he proceeded to insult me, my decisions and actually used the "f" word. At that point my husband intervened. I will never use, refer or recommend this company. Rob clearly had zero respect for me and only aimed to criticize me and my decision to go with another HVAC company because I had no confidence in Overlake anymore.
Honest and reliable, and worthwhile guidance.
*Update: Company called to offer an explanation as to why they don't offer service in attic. Appreciate that effort. Discussed possible solutions and places that can give the service we need, and possibly having them update a website to help clear communication in services provided & not provided. -Came home from vacation to HVAC system that kept blowing a fuse and the air conditioner would not run. Called at 5:30pm for an appointment the next day. Informed them that HVAC in the attic was blowing a fuse and was told we'd get a call the next day. When we didn't get a call the next day we called and were informed that they don't do attic work because it's dangerous to it's employees, a policy across the board. Certainly weather should always be considered to the health of the employees but I'm pretty sure a company could schedule around this, right? There are plenty homes in the PNW that have furnace and HVAC systems in the attic, and if your one of them skip to next provider.
Rob reached out to follow up my HAVC installation request. He's able to provide correct online estimate per my house structure, which is extremely efficient and rare in this crazy busy market. He's very knowledgable, efficient and responsive. Sometimes I can even receive emails from him at mid night. Education blogs he wrote, the information and answers he provided through emails made me well informed. I would strongly recommend Rob !
Wish they had better customer service.
Just wanted to make a shout-out for the parts guy that helped with phones today! Went above and beyond today for me and I really appreciated it!
