The system is now up and running. It took a little bit but the technicians were great to work with and HC followed through on the repair of the original installation. I'm happy with my new system.

So like many others here, I went through Costco to have a new central A/C unit installed. I typically associate Costco with great customer service, but my experience with this company was anything but. I'm satisfied with the fact that I now have central A/C installed but that's about it. Communication and customer service was highly lacking as well as professionalism. The following are a few things that ruined my experience with them. 1) Upon re-installation of my pre-existing furnace, the heat was no longer working due to 2 issues, only 1 of which they fixed, but only after I had diagnosed it myself. I had informed them of the issue and they still took 17 days to resolve that issue. Luckily during this time, I did not need heat for my newborn son, but if I did, I would have been out of heat for over 2 weeks. 2) The original installation took a bit long and so upon completion of the job, I didn't get to do a thorough inspection of the job as it was already late in the day (7pm) and I was trying to get my kid to bed for the night. The next day, I noticed that where the furnace was installed, there was a fairly noticeable gap at the bottom that subsequently caused the furnace door that I need to open to change the filter to be difficult to open. I mentioned this to them and they pretty much ignored any attempt to fix this as they were more focused upon "fixing" issue 1 above. Here's a timeline of events: 2022/04/20 - Service & sales agreement signed ... 2022/09/29 - AC installation completed (Antonio & Samuel - I think). Furnace wasn't working when they left after installation completed at 6:30pm but AC confirmed working. Post installation inspection by myself after they left for the night confirmed that the hot surface ignitor was broken. 2022/10/01 - ME = Emailed back saying furnace ignitor was broken as a result of the install & even gave part # needed included pictures of somewhat sloppy install where lower furnace panel had gaps and panels felt forced toget

Joseph and Jason from Home Comfort Alliance came out and did an amazing job installing our new furnace/heat pump combination system. We booked them through the Costco referral program and the price was excellent. I would definitely recommend them to anyone, and look forward to working with them again in the future.

So we got a heat pump through Costco from Home Comfort Alliance. The installation was good, and for the first year or so it worked great. Since then we had multiple issues. One time a mechanic came out to fix an issue, and left the unit in test mode, which meant the AC was fixed at 62. It took several calls to get someone else to come out to fix it. Next the main control board of the unit went bad, and it took several weeks, calls and two visits to get that fixed. We got the board replaced in February and things seemed to be ok. Then this last weekend the heatwave hit and the unit is completely useless. The air coming out of it this evening was at 82 degrees. I called this morning and could only get an appointment for a week from today. I asked for a call from a manager and have not received one all day. It’s very frustrating when you don’t even get a call back. The amount of time and calls I had to waste to get this heat pump to work is crazy. At this time I cannot recommend Home Comfort Alliance.

$330 JUST a travel fee that does NOT include the work done? "Well is this an emergency?" YOU TELL ME, it's going to be 90 degrees Monday on a system that YOU installed less than 5 years ago...

Do not use this company. I reached this company via Costco, so if you are a Costco member and thinking of contracting through Costco think twice! First the good, their techs, with the exception of their electrician, were friendly and hard working. The BAD, I bought a new heat pump and air handler from this company. Towards the end of the second day of the job the techs informed me that they were having issues connecting the air handler and heat pump to one another, and that a more senior tech would be out the next day. The next day came and went. Not only did no one show up, but I never even got a call with an update. The next day I was finally able to get a call returned, I was told that the part of the system needed to be swapped out and that they'd be back in touch. I heard nothing for several days and again calls were not returned. I emailed the sales associate who was at least able to update me on what the issue was, but still there was no clear path to resolution or any attempt by the company to proactively reach out to me explaining the issue. Finally a crew arrived w/ a new air handler; however, after a few hours of work I was informed this unit wouldn't fit in the space, and that another unit would have to be ordered. More time went by with NO communication from the company. Finally I was informed that the heat pump was the issue and that would need to be swapped out. With the system finally working the inspector came out. He had a callout that the system needed to be strapped down for seismic protection. To date the company has never made an attempt to address this callout by the inspector and has never called me. To add insult to injury I found that the company actually billed me credit card BEFORE the work was completed. Hours of my time wasted, an incomplete install, and awful customer service. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. IF USING COSTCO FOR HVAC WORK TRY TO GET A DIFFERENT COMPANY TO DO THE WORK!!!

Bought my AC from Costco. They came in as separate crews for electrical and mechanical. You know these guys are the pros when the job is done quickly and neatly. They raised the furnace to make room for the new AC unit. Joey & Alex did a good job and explained everything. Even fixed my thermostat so no more batteries are needed. Everyone I interacted with was courteous and professional, starting from the first walkthrough. Very happy with the installation.

While getting onto I5 this morning from hwy 16 one of your drivers was behind us. We were doing the speed limit. We slowed to negotiate a turn and said driver hit his horn and then cut us off. Very unprofessional and dangerous. Not impressed. I5 northbound at 6 am 😠

Heat pump/ mini split install. Dan was great! Very proficient and professional, led the team in a challenging installation. It came out perfectly, with 3 mini splits in different areas of our home. Thank you Jose, great work!

They not only missed a obvious rusty pipe that needs attention but also charged an extra $210 for simply fixing a testing whole without letting me know upfront. Not to say that they charge $120 travel fee that no one else does. Totally scam. Stay away as far as you can. Edit: received a refund of $210 after talking to the manager. Move to 3-star.

We purchased a New furnace and a/c unit . we had a couple other bids and Home comfort had the best pricing. Our sales person Brandon Roberson was the first person we met with home comfort . he came to our home explained everything to us. he gave us several different options to purchasing the ac and furnace. he was very knowledgeable and helpful through explaining what the different option had comparison to the others. He also explained how the whole process of purchasing , install and permitting would be handled. very helpful. which they applied for all permits for you . which other companies didn't. once the 2 installer came they explained to us what they would be doing and walked through what we would be seeing . they got to work and WOW what a team . they communicated and where talking and helping each other out. It was nice to see a great team. they got our new furnace up and running first day . Mind you that out furnace is in our attic and they had a big task getting the old one out and the new one up there. it was a 2 day process as the ac unit was going to be brand new for our home so had to get all new ducting and wiring. they came out and just started perfectly where they left off and double checked work from the previous day . working perfectly. then they completed and told us of the next step of the next crew to come and finalize the wiring . which 3 electricians showed up with an hour of the 2 installer completing the install work. we helped them out by already having a box from an old Hot tub already back there to attach the new ac to since no longer have the hot tub. so they had a quick install and put in an extra electrical outlet for us next to it. Which is very nice to have. thank you . i think they were in and out with in less then an hour for that. again they electrician even told us of the next steps of the permit approvals going to be happening. All we had to do was contact our local city guy to come out and look and approve. i think even our

We went through Costco to get AC installed for our home and Home Comfort Alliance was great from the start. Our installers, Carlos Sr and Carlos Jr, were incredibly professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. They did an amazing job and got it all done in one day. We love our new heat pump and can't wait to use it for AC in the summer.

If your looking for work to be done here. Don't expect to rely on your salesmans word on any part of the job because more than half the salesman don't know anything about the equipment they looking at to try to sale to you. Half of them are clueless. If you can trust anyone here it would be the installers, they very knowledgeable and understand how the equipment works, and what is needed to get the job done. These salesman have never had any in field experience and often will try up sale everything they possibly can. Also don't rely on getting very many responses from retro management, or supervisor. First there was 1 then they switched to 2 management people trying to manage the retro department because the one guy could handle the work load needed to manage the department, neither one of these 2 people ever answer their phone for any of retro installers, let alone for any customer with a concern. You got the retro supervisor that has no clue what it is he is supposed to be doing in his position and is so clueless to any jobs going to install for the day especially for the sumner crews. So they essentially hired a supervisor to help the manager to run retro and now they have 2 guys that do nothing for retro to make it a smooth operation, one gives false informationto the installers as solutionto their issues with the install, and the other just doesnt answer his phone and is completely useless to any installer if in need for solutions, As an installer myself who has worked for this place. Recently may I add, I won't do it again in a millions years. The simple facts of the care very little about their actual install employees, which bring in the money with the completed job the do, and don't get any compensation for anything the have to fix that the salesman or management don't inform you of on the site. They will penny pinch every minute out of their installers as if they are going broke. There is nothing close to a bonus of any sort for any of the installers, and

I have worked with MM comfort systems twice in replacing furnaces. Both times, they damaged the interior door trim and dry wall on both places. For one of the incidents, I didn't care much as it is an easy fix - just patching the drywall and spot touch the trim with paint. For the other incidents, there were noticeable damage that cannot be easily fixed as the technician dropped the furnace twice on the tile floor while taking it out of the house using a dolly. When the furnace was being dropped twice (I heard loud bangs twice - 30 seconds apart from each other), it also hit the door trim and the drywall, making a penny size hole in the wall. The door trim is a custom top of the line products that is natural wood. It now has very noticeable scratch. Unfortunately, it wasn't just one trim. The technician hit three different door trims and left large / visible scratches on all 3 places while he was getting the furnace out of house. I took photos of damage and reached out to MM comfort three times. I called them and left a message. Also, I emailed twice - once to the general email and another to Jenah Barlow as I was told that she is the person responsible in handling this issue. However, I didn't get any response from the company.

I had MM install a furnace and A/C for me which went well, the follow up yearly maintenance went ok, I recently requested a quote on a tankless water heater and they required $100 fee to come out after I have already spent thousands!!! No other company has requested a fee to provide a quote.

The installers were prompt and worked hard installing the new furnace on Thursday and AC on Friday. The problem came when I realized the heat was not working late on Saturday. I contacted the office and was told I would have to pay $200 for emergency service. By Sunday afternoon, I realized I would need the service before Monday (January). I got through to the answering service and was told someone would contact me. After a few hours and no call back, I got help from a family member and started checking out possible problems (fuses, gas line). We found that the gas was turned off and not turned back on when the installers left on Friday!

MM Comfort Systems did an excellent job at a very fair price for the install of our heat pump. They were extremely communicative with all our questions. The installers Rus and Dallas did a great job removing our oil furnace and installing the new duct work. I would definitely recommend to anyone doing HVAC work.

We are so pleased with the prompt and professional service that MMComfortSystems provided. Lili, the Service Manager was extremely responsive to our broken heater problem. She made sure that she had the correct part in stock so that the repairman could bring it to our home. And he showed up within the hour! Will certainly use MMComfortSystems again!
