Ever since the old one closed down, I haven’t been the same, but now the stars have aligned and god blessed us with the return of ziggys and sons donuts. I can’t express how much I love this place, literally the best donuts in the region. I would recommend their classic chocolate donuts, and unexpectedly good coffee. Everything about this place is amazing, and I love that it’s back in Peabody.
I wasn’t sure if they were open and they were. I felt like I was reliving all the times I had jelly donuts with my grandfather who is polish very very polish My great Grammy was from Ukraine and ww2 drove her to run away to New York and eventually Boston where she met my great grandfather Henry j. My favorite part about the donut was the fact that it tasted homemade and the lady who sold it reminded me of my Grammy a little bit. The name also drew me to the place bc anything named ziggy is gonna be calm collective and full of taste and class god bless ziggy donut company.
I don't live close enough to take advantage of such a quality shop very often. I have heard great things from friends who live close by. I had to ask what was available and they were nice enough to list the flavors of donuts. I was served by the owner, Patti, and treated well. I love to support local when the quality and taste is so good!

The best breads and donuts around.. as a bonus this place is kosher so that you know that they use the finest ingredients.. they have short hours so make sure that you get there early.
Same donut shop as the one in Salem . Easily the best donuts on the north shore. They close early and sell out quick. Boston cream and the raspberry are my favorite. Hidden gem because it sits behind another shop in a little market area.

based on the limited amount of reviews, i’m calling this place a hidden gem. fantastic, fresh donuts. they’re on the smaller side, but i will take quality over quantity. chocolate glaze is my favorite... perfect crispiness on the outside, inside is moist and not too sweet, just like a donut should be. the boston cream cakes are also phenomenal, the best i've had. the lady who runs the place, Pattie, is very welcoming and told me they don't use chemicals/preservatives in anything... I can tell because I never feel sick after eating anything here, unlike dunks/honey dew. skip the chains, and try this place out.
Yummmmm! First time having donuts from Ziggys and they did not disappoint. The donuts aren't overly sweet, light and airy, and overall good quality! Small simple shop with amazing products! Oh cash only!
Just an FYI to someone’s comment that they sell gluten free donuts. They DO NOT SELL GLUTEN FREE anything. Sorry. I just called.

Pattie did an amazing job with my daughters unicorn cake. It was delicious and very reasonably priced.

The donuts here are homemade and so good!! $9.50 for a baker's dozen! All their donuts, cakes and pastries are allergen free and gluten free! Owners are super nice! Place is so clean! So glad I found this place!
I live in Tennessee and I ordered donuts by phone to be delivered to my son at Gordon College. Pattie and her husband, John, were so accommodating. My son and the entire Gordon Varsity Tennis Team enjoyed the donuts. Thanks Ziggys!
My mom and I needed a cake for my grandmothers 95th birthday that was simple but full of flavor. A friend of mine recomended going to Ziggy's. We've had their donuts before (which btw are excellent) so we figured we would give them a shot and we are SO glad we did. If you need a "just like mom's" homemade cake, Ziggy's is beyond perfect! it turned out absolutely beautiful. The chocolate cake melts in your mouth and the frosting isn't overly sweet. The owners are both so kind and thoughtful. You can tell they really care about what they make.. you can practically taste the love!

If you're going to splurge on a donut, make it a Ziggies! So amazing. Best glazed donut I have ever had. Far better than dunkins or any other chain. Very friendly staff - they always give a baker's dozen. I have ordered two birthday cakes (everything in the store is nut free) and they always send a birthday card at pick up! Excellent pastries, excellent service, excellent prices.
