I was quoted $1700 for a repair that they estimated would take 3 hours. It took their technician 45 minutes to complete the job. I asked if they were going to adjust the price based on the time it actually took and they responded that isn’t their policy.
Tom Hoffman of Cardinal Heating spent a lot of time designing a new HVAC system that was right for our home. Brian, the installer, was professional and thorough. We are very happy with the price and performance of our new furnace and heat pump.

Cardinal installed a mini split in our home and we couldn't be happier. Everyone from the rep who gave the estimate, CS via phone, and the install team were professional and courteous. Highly recommend.

I had 3 reputable companies provide bids on AC and heat installation. None were what you'd call inexpensive, but Cardinal's bid came in lowest with the best solution for my purposes. I have duct work only on the 3rd floor and radiant heating on the 1st and second floors, so it was not a straightforward job. In terms of the installation, the work was meticulous and well thought out. I didn't want conduit/conduit wires plastered all over the outside of my house, and inside, I didn't want the conduit to be obtrusive. (Solon, who came out to provide the estimate took my requirements into account in providing the estimate and outlining the work.) On both fronts, I would say the outcome is low profile. Further, Mike, who headed up the installation work, really cared about the quality of his work and he and his crew left the work areas clean every day. Both Solon and Mike were pleasant, good listeners and very easy to work with. Heat is working like a charm on all floors and I can't even hear the air coming out of the split. I am looking forward to experiencing AC this summer. Overall, I recommend Cardinal for their customer-orientation/service and quality work.
Cardinal replaced our oil furnace with new HVAC at our home and replaced a gas furnace with HVAC in one unit of our duplex and added a mini split in another unit that only had wall heat. Everything went perfectly with all three installations. All of the employees were respectful of the properties and took great care not to disturb us or my tenants anymore than absolutely needed. At the initial visits Tom spent a lot of time to explain all of our options and what would be the best choice for our situations in great detail that a normal person could understand. We got several bids and there may have been one that was less but it wasn’t exactly an apples to apples choice. We were convinced that Cardinal would deliver tge best results and they did just that. I cannot recommend them enough and anyone needing HVAC services can’t go wrong choosing them.
I can’t recommend Cardinal Heating and Air highly enough. On a scale of 1-10, 11. I’ve now had Cardinal do two different projects for me. I selected their bid for a new two zone heat pump in one part of my house and then, shortly after and completely unrelated, my main furnace went out. Thankfully the timing was right and they had a slot to uninstall my old and install a new high efficiency gas furnace in very short order. I was very impressed that even though they were quite busy and I was originally booked out months ahead, when the time came, they came out on time as planned. An unexpected noise issue from where the heat pump compressor was mounted and some hidden plumbing in a kitchen wall added to the length and difficulty of the project but never did I lose confidence that they wouldn’t quit till I was completely satisfied. All the way from Jonas who bid the job and has years of experience, to Jacob who did most of the quality work and to Lindsey who was my, kind, fair, ever present, internal coordinator, each person was very professional and took pride in the final quality of my job. I feel very lucky to have found Cardinal Heating and Air and am very happy to provide this review.
We wanted to replace our gas furnace with a more efficient and climate-conscious ducted heat pump system. Of the five competitive bids we reviewed, Cardinal was far and away the best. They weren't the lowest bid, but our consultant, Jonas, went above and beyond to find the right system for our home and answer any and all questions we had throughout the process. Our site inspector, Josh, and our installers, Zach and Isaac, were all courteous, punctual, and efficient. And Tori, our scheduling and billing rep, kept us up to date about everything. An expensive and potentially stressful home upgrade was buttery smooth and painless. Would/will recommend; would/will definitely work with them in the future!
I moved into a new home in September 2022 with a new HVAC system installed by Cardinal Heating & Air with the previous owner. The system didn’t function well (a little heat came out when we ran the AC but otherwise could not heat or cool our new home). I called Cardinal several times to request an assessment and was told that they were not taking on new clients even though they installed the system recently. They said the previous owner was their client and they could not take us on even though it was the same system and house they installed it in. I then hired another 3rd party HVAC company for an assessment and learned that the newly installed unit by Cardinal Heating & Air was significantly oversized for our home causing the issues we were experiencing. I called Cardinal Heating & Air again begging for an assessment so we could at least understand why they chose such an oversized unit and how it would work for a house of our size and no one would speak with me. After multiple calls, Cardinal Heating & Air eventually connected me with James the sales manager. James told me that he could send someone out if I paid the over $500 debt of the previous owner of our home in advance even though there was ZERO record of this debt and no lien placed upon the previous owner at the time of sale. All in all, Cardinal Heating & Air in Kirkland, WA has left our family in the cold (literally) due to their poor work, low accountability, and dubious practices by trying to extort money we do not owe. We would have liked a service call and we were more than happy to pay for that call, not any unaccounted debt from other clients. I am verte discouraged by their poor work and shady business practices.
My radiant heat system stopped working right before Thanksgiving while we have guests in the house. I called Cardinal Heating and James helped me reset the low water cutoff and restarted the system over the phone. Super nice people would definitely recommend for others!!
20 yrs ago we launched a turkey fundraiser, within the Chelan County PUD, to help needy families in the Wenatchee Valley so they may have a turkey for the holidays. The first year we raised enough for 250 turkeys. A person within the fundraising group, Art Bainard, passed away one fall, so our group decided to have a golf tournament in his honor. It started with 25 players, then soon boomed to 100 players the next year. The year before Covid, and thanks to Cardinal Heating, we raised enough money to buy 900 turkeys. This year we had 120 players and the golf tourney raised $5000 towards the Art Bainard Turkey Fund. We will continue to have the tourney each fall for this great cause. Had Cardinal upsize my gas line for the newly installed fireplace, big job in tight spaces. The original gas line installation was comical, loosely secured running over the top of ducting, and more. The tech they sent was very professional, knowledgeable and personable. Cardinal's attention to detail and pride in their work clearly showed. In addition, he pointed out issues with my ducting (also comical) and as expected, offered to take care of it as any business would do. Then, to my surprise, he went on to share with me how I could take care of it myself if cost was an issue, amazing customer service. I highly recommend Cardinal and they will be my go-to for all of my future heating and cooling needs. Terry L.

Cardinal Heating and Air did a wonderful job on our heating and air system. Their install crew was professional and answered any questions. I would highly recommend them to anyone who asked me who my go to was for AC and heating.
My wife and I had a new HVAC system installed in our house 6 years ago by Cardinal and we received a great price and the installing technicians were professional and performed the install in the timely manor. I do not typically write many reviews but, just recently our HVAC system was in need of service and Cardinal was able to fit us in their schedule and our system is running great again. Great job Cardinal!
Cardinal was professional from the start - meeting with the consultant to determine our needs - installation with guys courteous and respectful of our home using all means necessary to assure cleanliness as well as quality installation - immediate follow-up with our warranty and maintenance suggestions. We are extremely pleased with this new cooling and heating system and highly recommend Cardinal - a first class business.

Over the last couple of years, we had been crossing our fingers every time we first turned on our furnace in the Fall. We figured we were running on borrowed time. The Cardinal team did a fantastic job replacing our 30-year-old furnace with a high efficiency furnace and the first-time installation of air conditioning in our house. The entire process was impressive, from Jonas coming out to providing a competitive bid to the installers, Mike and Cody, knocking this work out in two days. Mike and his team were courteous, their finished installation is impeccable, they left the place better than they found it and the price was very competitive with other companies we had bid. The Cardinal office staff is awesome, they kept me informed and up to date as we approached the installation date. We are thoroughly enjoying the few remaining hot days of summer with our new A/C and look forward to having reliable heating this winter. We highly recommend Cardinal Heating!
