Great company! Todd took the time to walk me through trying to fix our AC issue over the phone. Once it was determined a new part was needed, he had two of his guys come over to replace it. Jason and Torey were fantastic. They drove across town late in the afternoon on the day before a holiday to quickly resolve the problem. And they provided some helpful tips on ways to fix similar issues in the future. Will definitely call them for all our future HVAC needs!
Mode is the hands down the best HVAC service company in the Richmond area. Jason has given us excellent, straightforward, and honest advice regarding our units and HVAC system. He knows his craft inside and out and has saved us thousands of dollars by helping us avoid unnecessary repairs suggested by other companies, while still keeping our system running great. I highly recommend contacting Mode for any HVAC issues and requesting Jason.
Tyler was on time and within the window he was scheduled for. He listened to the issue we had and addressed it immediately. He was very communicative with us during the process of the repair. Although this will most likely just be a bandaid repair there wasn’t any pressure to buy entire system today, but we will certainly be using Mode when the time comes! Hopefully later than sooner..
Jason and Logan were on time, very professional, and courteous. Jason noted a small issue with my HVAC system that no one previously had identified during routine maintenance, and now my system works significantly better. Thank you for your attention to detail!
I have been having trouble with my HVAC system since I moved into my home and have had several companies and technicians come out to try and diagnose the problem or help me with it. I had yet to find one prior to today that could help. The techs came out and were great. They explained everything to me and the pricing was very transparent and easy to understand. I'd recommend this company to anyone who needs HVAC work.
So grateful I called Mode to troubleshoot my HVAC problem. Jason came the very next day and went over everything carefully and found the issue. Not only did he explain the problem so I could understand but he took pictures to show me. He went the extra mile and now my HVAC is working great. Thank you so very much.

Highly Recommended! Unexpected heat/furnace problem on Christmas Eve. Mr. Taylor came earlier then the expected time and was very thorough with the maintenance repair to my furnace. He explained why I was experiencing the issues with the furnace and what I could do to prevent future problems. Definitely will be using their services again, save the company’s information in my phone. Provided exceptional service and quick response to an emergency situation (temps were in the teens). Mode installed our new heat pumps and gas furnace a few years ago. Our thermostat needed to be replaced, and they quickly scheduled us and arrive quickly. Service is always outstanding, and staff are the best! Kenny helped us out today, and was perfect! Even our dogs approved!
I called late afternoon on the Saturday before Christmas Eve and the phone was answered promptly. I was a new customer and they were able to work me in. Kenny was fantastic, he diagnosed quickly and even went out to get the part in order to get my heat back on that evening. I can't say enough about the prompt, friendly service. I definitely recomend.
I have had this company replace my AC, replace thermostats and a drain pump, as well as my hot water heater. Always great service, very professional, and responsive. Even over Thanksgiving weekend when most places were closed, they kept up communication regarding my issue, and were here Monday morning to replace my water heater. They may not be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for! I won’t call anyone else.

My AC was continually leaking water into the ceiling and down into the house from the attic. Several companies came out, said they fixed the problem only to have it continue to leak. Mode Comfort came out and diagnosed a number of issues including improper installation. They installed a new AC and correctly installed it along with the heater. The work was done in a tidy, neat manner and all functions properly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MODE COMFORT for installs & repairs, they're honest and do thorough, professional work!
