Eric was great...arrived on time..did not mind me checking on him frequently or answering the many questions I had. I got an hvac check snd clean and I saw he actually cleaning the many of the ac parts. I noticed the system performing better once he was done. My only complaint is that i did not received a receipt detailling the services performed as I requested. I only got an email receipt showing the company name and the amount charged.
Great communication, friendly staff who know what they are doing, efficient. I have been consistently impressed with their service.
We had a pipe leak that necessitated us turning off the water and they expedited the service call and came the next morning and fixed it.
Rude employee. Was driving and started cutting me off and being rude for no reason. Then had a really mean look when I got out the car. worst part is I was driving in a commercial area and the guy was rushing and giving me dirty looks. From the looks of that don’t do business with this company.
Of course my water heater conked out at the worst possible time. It was approaching the holiday weekend and they were all booked up, but I was not prepared to wait until after the long weekend for hot water, and United Air Temps worked VERY hard to meet my difficult scheduling request. The gentleman showed up on time and worked to thoroughly fix the problem that had been a frequent and costly recurrence. He also pointed out a few other things I needed, but it was not a hard sell and he left an estimate as requested. I would use them again as I was very satisfied with their Customer Service and expertise.
Juan from the Rockville location is a great plumber; very friendly, happy to explain everything and offer suggestions. He came back out when a related issue occurred two days later and resolved it quickly and explained why it happened. He’s awesome.
the tech George was great. he was so kind and helped explain the issue to make it easy to understand. definitely a breath of fresh air!
Bath tub faucet wouldn't completely shut off. They came, opened it up, got 2 parts from the van, and fixed it, in 15 minutes! Amazing! 5 STARS
Placed call thru AHS. Repair was very timely and professional. Highly recommend Jose for his knowledge and professionalism!
5 star because I like the technician that I had. but I have other issues which I will mention later in another review.
Immediate appointment was given. They were prompt, friendly. explained what they would do and did do. They cleaned up. My gasket on toilet hose and inside toilet tank parts were replaced. They checked my water heater to see if that might need future assistance due to age. Good service and quality. I am a repeat customer.
The techician was very professional in check the clog and reinforce with a product called Thift to reforce that the clog was done. Told me if the problem came back before 30 days to contact them again
The tech was very polite and professional. He made sure everything was fixed properly before departing. Give that man a raise
Juan from Rockville office was here for plumbing issues, after completing those repairs ,We discovered leak in water pressure valve, on inspection and after informing my insurance company, he was able to replace while here. This saved me from a costly repair. Thank You Juan and your company.
This company was referred to us by American home Shield, they sent out a technician had no knowledge how to fix The bib Cox , he messed up my water regulator and told American home shield. The pressure is high in the house , that he was taking the pressure at the bottom of hot water heater. That caused all these problems. We asked for an experienced technician first they agree, then they refused I will never use this company again
The two technicians that came to fix my toilet were fantastic. Knew what the problem was and fixed it in no time. Also have great personalities which is a plus!! So glad I have UAT. Thank you so much for the prompt response. Have always been satisfied with your company.
United air temp was the contractor provided by American home shield to repair two toilets in my home that were not flushing. I provided the parts from Lowes that were energy, efficient, toilet float and drain. There was a contractor name “Arrie” who came and install the parts. He was 15 minutes late and when he arrived it was clear that he didn’t know what he was doing as it took about an hour for him to repair the first toilet float and drain. When he finished and inspected the toilet was loose so I asked if he could correct it. He asked if I could assist him while he tightened it up. He then proceeded to repair the second one, and at the end the toilet was leaking. I pointed this out and Arrie asked me to assist him in tightening up the toilet. He then left. About three days later the downstairs toilet was leaking progressively, it started as a slow leak and was hitting the hard wood floors in my bathroom. I called United air temp to let them know. They refused to help me and told me to call American home shield American home shield, then put in emergency, dispatch out and three days later, United air temp showed up and it was Artie was the contractor who showed up again. He tightened up the toilet again and when I pointed out to him that the leaky toilet cause damage to my hardwood floor and ask for his supervisors information, he refused to provide it to me but later texted me a phone number without a name. I later contacted United air, temp customer service via email and asked for their managements information so I could file a claim for the damage to my hardwood floors resulting from there for repairs but I was never followed up with other than an email saying that management will contact me. I am now having to go through a lawyer to get this matter resolved. I wish I’d never use united air temp because I started off with a toilet that wasn’t flushing but now I have two toilets that are now leaking and damage to my hard wood floors downstairs and my marble
I have an AHS home warranty and United Air Temp (UAT) was assigned by them to repair/replace my leaking water heater. Since I have the top-of-line Platinum AHS coverage I was not expecting ANY out of pocket expense beyond the service call fee to replace it. After one appt with a UAT tech, he deferred to having the area manager come back out to review the problem. The manager came and confirmed the tank would indeed need to be replaced since such leaks definitely aren’t repairable. He spent a lot of time on the phone with AHS discussing my coverage in light of what he determined needed to be done to replace the tank. My current water heater is an 80 gallon tank, however, according to the UAT manager, an 80 gallon tank was no longer rated residential by AHS but rather commercial grade so therefore could supposedly only be replaced with a 50 gallon tank. I called AHS myself and was told differently, that my 80 gallon tank could in fact be replaced with the same capacity tank under my plan. After a couple of hours of cost calculating, the UAT manager presented me with my replacement cost options. The cheapest being $646 out of pocket to me for a 50 gallon basic tank with a 30 day warranty. There was no breakdown of what that $646 charge was actually for so I called AHS for details. They told me UAT was charging $480 for access alteration costs, plus additional $100+ fees to cover a new pan and tubing (a pan costs about $11 at Home Depot or Lowes). My water heater is in my basement with direct outside stairway access. No alterations would have been necessary to remove the old and bring in a new water heater. I only imagine UAT does all they can to run up their fees so that in the end my out of pocket payment would more than cover their actual cost to provide a basic 50 gallon tank such as they planned to install. I opted NOT to use their services but instead take the alternative cash reimbursement offered by AHS. I’ve lost a lot of time but at least now I’m able to hire
Arrie came by to help us with a sewer back up. He was on time, professional, and worked for a couple of hours to clear the clog. He worked from several spots in the house and made sure everything was clear. Tested the system and communicated information as he worked. Thanks Arrie!
The plumber was very knowledgeable and not only resolved the problem but fixed another problem that wasn't even reported.
