The process of the schedule for the installation of The AC was smooth, I just wished the installation would come sooner. Mr. David was a great guy who helped with the estimate, and thank you Mr. Rich for the financial process. Thank you McCarthy Services! Keep up the good work.
Mr. Diaz did an excellent job in fast identifying the broken circuit and replacing it to enable the cooling system back to work. Great job. Appreciated!
They failed to ask “gas or electric?” when making the appointment, only to show up saying they don’t work with electric tankless systems. Then gave an estimate with a single line (no details as to price of water heater, labor hours, you know, the basics) for more than double what I’d expect.
Both technicians assigned to help us are superb and company back office staff are equally responsive and responsible. Work completed is neat and clean. Do obtain the county permit upfront. Forgot to do it but later on McCarthy quickly caught up and obtained it.
We had a great experience. They arrived same day and one time. Miguel was excellent and took great care of us.
Upon learning my HVAC was going to have to be replaced, I was dreadful of the not only the cost but also finding a reputable company. Brian made the entire process extremely effortless and easy. Very communicative, informative, and straight to the point. The process could not have gone any better. Great guy all around. The individuals that replaced the HVAC itself were efficient and extremely respectful of the home in general, taking care to move any obstructions and placing them back once finished. Happy to have found this company!
Had to have them out on the Fourth of July. They came right away. No questions asked and they were very professional. They actually have to come back another day but that initial response was much appreciated.
The Service from the initial call to installation completion has been absutely OUTSTANDING. Brian Langford was very professional, knows the product as evidenced by his ability to describe and respond to all questions. I salute his services with a heartfelt thank you. The installation team Kenny and Walt were also very professional, timely and knowledgeable about the product. The new system was installed and working properly in record breaking time. McCarthy Services are my new best friend.
I would/will highly recommend “McCarthy Services”. They squeezed me in even though the Technicians last service call was 2 hours away. The Technician (Luc Charbonneau) was excellent. He kept me informed of what he was checking the entire time. I’m not sure another technician would have found the problem. A spider (lol) had shorted out a capacitor inside the AV UNIT. He cleaned the AC UNIT as well. I could go on and on- but, in short, I am more than pleased with my experience with your company. Thank you- Angela Donnelly
These guys showed up after their 4-hour window and claimed I needed a new HVAC unit or could repair the current one for $6400+. I called another company who came out and determined it was only the motor that needed replacing which ran about 1/10th of the quote from McCarthy. Needless to say I went with the other guy.
In response to our call, McCarthy Services sent a technician out within hours. He was personable, knowledgeable and considerate as he checked our two split systems and explained the problems and options to us. We decided to replace our system with a new system. The sales representative was sent out the next day to show us what they had for a replacement, no pressure at all from the sales rep., very nice, professional, knowledgeable about the products. I chose the system I wanted and they sent the installation team out the next day- THE NEXT DAY! The installation team was very professional, fixed some minor problems related to the previous system and did an excellant job installing my system. We highly recommend McCarthy Services.

DM Select was acquired by McCarthy Services. This was their first visit under the service contract McCarthy inherited. I contemplated changing my contractor, but John Mealey (badge no. 065683) saved the day for McCarthy by providing friendly, thorough service when he arrived. Thanks to Mr. Mealey I will stick with McCarthy. A couple weeks later, we needed a shower drain unclogged. Angel arrived on time, was polite and professional. Did a complete snaking of a very clogged drain. A bit pricey, perhaps, but no complaints.
Many negatives were addressed about my HVAC system … none to do with furnace.. a competent tech would have addressed one problem … pull a wad of debris from the fan blower: causing an imbalance resulting in a total household vibration scenario for a year or more… snd he found other nefarious items that were considered wrong… … and a comment that we should not repair for $3500 but replaced for nearly $11,000.. as if we were in a financial position to assume such a debt considering it took us five years to pay off the original installation fee of 7200. ….. we were told that the thermostat needed to be replaced …. Wow. No amount of squirming on my part was any detterent to “.. a mew thermostat is needed to complete the guarantee… Ok.. I was born at night, not last night
