If I can only say more good things about this company but more importantly about my sales person (John) and the crew that came out to do the installation (Andrew and Malone). They were all INCREDIBLE!! I am still so impressed with their work. They were very officiant and super friendly. I am a female who’s husband travels for work and I didn’t feel unsafe not once. I left my house unlocked with them because I knew I could trust them! My husband called me over FaceTime and wanted to check up on the entire progress. Andrew made me feel okay with asking questions and he went into details of what he was about to do. Like I said, look no further. This company is THE best!! We’ve shopped around for a new AC system for over 6 months now. And I’m happy to say that I feel incredibly happy with this company!! INCREDIBLY!! Thank you guys ones again!! We appreciate all the work you did for us!!
Update: I just had to add to my review that I originally posted years ago. Thompsons comfort connection has totally saved our sweaty bums multiple times over the years. Both at our private residence and our office building. They are very responsive and quick to diagnose and fix the problem at a fair rate. Their techs are very professional, friendly and efficient. I cannot thank them enough for rescuing us from our old old ac unit again today. When the unit is finally beyond repair, we look forward to working with them to replace the unit. Original review from years ago: We have trusted thompsons comfort connection with all our HVAC needs for our home. They are extremely knowledgeable, honest, friendly and always clean up well after their work. I feel more than comfortable inviting them into our home and have had great performance out of our furnace, ac, blower units. They just installed a humidifier today and I'm excited to have it for the winter.
Thompson’s has been a wonderful company to work with. We’ve purchased a furnace and AC unit. We get our seasonal tune-ups on units and have been warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Our technician, Brad was careful, efficient and friendly. I always appreciate the high caliber of folks that Thompson’s send to my home to maintain my HVAC system!
Brad was able to troubleshoot and fix three problems right away. Including a gas leak that I could smell but not find. He was quick, clean, and explained everything. Thanks, Brad! Also Reynold took a look at my aging system and made some great suggestions about the best solution that focused on my primary concerns. And he walked me through the rebates in a way that I was able to understand. What a really good team!
Brad was punctual very amicable and knowledgeable. He was willing to answer all my questions and remembered how he had been here previously. I would strongly recommend Brad as well as Thompson CC. We have been blessed and thankful to have had them serve us.
installing a new HVAC is a big deal there are a lot of scammers in this arena and you get lots who come out but don't bid or just want to check for any potential problems so they can do costly upsells. thompsons are the real deal and everyone from reynold, the install team and the owners are all amazing. reynold made free modifications to my old system to make it a bit cooler in the upstairs condo I have. he came out several times to figure out the best heat pump system so I could take advantage of huge incentives and save money on a much more efficient system. many will want to look at heat pumps based on new federal and state incentives and so you can save energy and money. thompsons are real experts with this technology. they also spent a lot of time to make sure I got the full incentive and rebates since rocky mountain were being quite difficult based on a condo /multifamily unit install. they made sure everything was done correctly under the rebate promises. all in all it doesn't make sense to go with any other company. HVAC is all they do which makes a big difference with so many companies that have other services like plumbing etc.
Working with Thompsons Comfort connection has been a great experience from the Sales process to the install. The only reason why I didn’t give them 5 stars is because they tracked mud into my house and in our carpet.
This is the most honest and knowledgeable company I have ever dealt with. Bill and his entire crew have done some fairly large (and small) jobs for us and we have never been left with any questions and our equipment has functioned perfectly. Bill has personally come to my home, on more than one occasion, to fix any issues that occurred, and his knowledge, efficiency and personality are second to none. His techs, Brad and Josh, have recently done some work and we had only appropriate repairs and services done with friendly and knowledgeable skill. I CAN NOT say enough good things about this company and would not hesitate to use them for any HVAC or related issue. You will not find better service anywhere, because it doesn't exist.
Brad and his team member were prompt, courteous and very professional. They arrived in a timely manner, maintained my furnace, offered me a great maintenance plan. They even took the time to explain to me the things that they found and fixed. Highly recommend this company for HVAC services.
Thompson's Comfort Connection HVAC is the best! They had by far the most competitive pricing for a new A/C and heat pump furnace. Their rebate package was so comprehensive and easy to follow. Their sales people are not pushy, and their installers were so friendly and cleaned everything up. The owner even called to make sure I was happy with everything. I cannot recommend them enough! Ten stars.
We had our heating and cooling systems replaced. Everyone (Mike, Devon) was great to work with and we are happy with the installation. They walked us through the rebate process step by step. We recommend them!
I've spoken with these folks 3 times, and have been delighted 3 times. Today Brad came out and helped me diagnose and do a minor repair on my heating system. More importantly, he was happy to answer all the questions I had about the system in this new house. Super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I didn't feel pushed into anything, and I'm very happy to have my "HVAC company" settled.

Thompsons Comfort Connection came highly recommended by a friend and I can see why. Although I went with another company to replace my furnace and AC (due to the cost comparison, which was quite close), this company was a close second. Jon with Thompsons came out to give me a quote for replacing my 22 year old unit. He was extremely thorough, kind, professional and did a great job explaining the process and options. There was no upselling or sleazy tactics, just honesty and education in a way I could understand as someone who knows nothing about HVAC. They are a family owned, long running, small business. That was especially refreshing after I had a quote a few days prior from a large corporate company where the person seemed more like a car salesman. Everyone I spoke to at Thompsons was respectful and you can tell they care about their company, their profession and their customers. I appreciate the integrity of Thompons and would recommend them, even though I did not pick them to do the job. Thanks Jon.
Thompson installed our main level Heating system last year. They came today for maintenance. We had them perform maintenance on all three of our furnaces (Basement, main level and upstairs). Brad the maintenance gentleman was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful with our furnaces. I highly recommend Thompson HVAC and request Brad as your maintenance person and you will not be disappointed.
It was so easy to get an appointment! Brad offered us fast, professional servic3 on our Lennox UV system. Will be choosing this company for all of our HVAC needs!
These guys are by far one of the best contractors we have used. We had a problem with our furnace and they were here within two hours of my first contact with them. Turned out our 20+ year old furnace had finally failed. They sent out a team to evaluate our needs and design a system before the end of the day. They offered space heaters to keep us warm through the night and got a whole new system installed fast! We have used a few other companies and no one comes near this level of service. A true gem of SLC.
I called Thompson's in a panic after my heat pump was damaged by work from another contractor who could not be reached. Even though I was not formally their client, they helped me understand the problem with the heat pump as well as helping to understand that it was safe to address the problem non-urgently. If it weren't for the fact that my warranty is with another company, I would definitely prefer to work with them!
Brad deserves more than 5 stars! Very professional, and very polite. He explained everything that was happening to my furnace and I appreciated that so I could make an informed decision. Thank you, Thompson’s Comfort Connection!
