Alberto at NBL Air Conditioning & Heating is Fantastic! He is responsive and knowledge about all things AC and heating. I was in a terrible situation over the summer after installing my new AC unit as it kept going in and out. The original crew who installed the AC unit couldn't fix the problem for 2 months. With just visiting with Alberto over the phone he knew what was going on and fixed our AC unit the same day!!! Today, our heater wasn't working so I gave Alberto and call at 8 am he was at our house at 9:30 am and fixed the heater in less than 10 minutes. We are so thankful for Alberto and his team at NBL. I highly recommend Alberto and NBL. If you need help and need a solution fast and done right give these guys a call! Thanks Alberto!
Received verbal quote from Ariel (registered owner per BBB) on 10/17/22 after inspection. Agreed to quote, but asked for a formal quote to support damages and work scope. Spoke with Alberto 10/18/22 to be advised that Ariel's quote will not be honored as it should have been 33% higher. I pushed back on the change of pricing and was given un-availability of parts which Ariel had already advised was 5-10 business out. Texted Ariel for further explanation but he has remained silent and has not responded as this writing. Alberto cancelled their quote, parts order and the proposed repair job. Very deceptive and unprofessional company.

I called them and they came out within the hour. The technician was quick, freindly and professional. The damage wasnt extensive to my unit, and it wasnt emergency. They still made it a priority to come out to see me and work on my unit. Highly recommend.
Installation went smoothly, but as they finished their work, I noticed the heater element was not appearing on my thermostat. Need to get that function back, please! UPDATE - NBL came out the very day I posted this and it turned out to be a thermostat setting. Overall, very pleased with their service. Would refer them to anyone.
Alberto gave us a great deal on a top of the line unit. They were able to come out the following day and within 24 hours we had a brand new AC in our home. The guys we worked with at NBL were all very professional and I would recommend their work to anyone!
I recommend this business to anyone who needs AC\heating repair or installation. The owner responds promptly to phone calls as well as texts. NBL takes care of business per the customers needs. I have always been well treated since installation in 2020. If I had an issue, they were there to answer the call! Just had another vent and duct installed (at no charge) as the air flow in the living room was not good with only one vent. The air flow now with two vents is awesome! Thank you Ariel and your hard working crew! Y'all are the best. Thanks again!!
Company pushed very hard for payment upfront. Stating different factors why they need the money up front. No reputable AC company will ask for payment up front. In the end this felt very much like a scam and I did not use them.

Alberto's team was on time and very professional. It was a difficult job on a very hot day, and he was very pleasant and did not complain about the heat.
This is an excellent company to do business with. They show up on time, do a professional job for a fair price and literally are not happy until you're happy. Ask for Alberto, he is one of the owners, he will take excellent care of you. BTW he told me NBL stands for never be late. In my case, the company lives up to their name..

Had a fantastic experience with NBL a couple weeks back. HVAC wasn't cooling for days, I uncovered a major leak. Had a NBL rep at my place at 5pm on a Friday to assess, they did a thorough inspection on outdoor unit and the attic. Was offered a great price on a replacement unit for the outside and I was happy. Just had a brace for a few more days in the heat, before install...or so thought. Nope. They literally had a crew onsite by 6pm the same day, all done and installed by 7pm (again, this was a Friday night) Couldn't believe it. Super quick. Super professional.
Echoing what most others have said on these reviews that NBL is the premier, quick-response choice in the Houston area. Ariel and his team are very knowledgeable, hardworking and eager to help. We had a 25yr old A/C unit that was on the brink of total failure and their techs kept it going just long enough until they received the new units (due to supply chain delays). We opted to have the ducts changed out as well to maximize the efficiency of the new 5 ton Carrier unit. Within 1 full working day the NBL crew was able to change out the entire system, ducts and all, and we were sleeping with cold A/C that very night. The install was clean and neatly done with everything secured in place and insulated, sealed for the long haul. I 100% recommend NBL for either repairs or full HVAC work on your home. Thank you !!
We called this company around 12 p.m. when we realized our A/C wasn't working and they told us they could have someone out here between 3-5 p.m and we got a call back and they said they could send someone out earlier. The technician(Alberto Morales) arrived around 1 and found the problem quickly, went and got the part came back, replaced it. Alberto was very friendly and thorough. We will definitely use them in the future!! Thank you NBL!!
After having 2 co come to my house , I called spoke to Ariel I advised him I did my homework know what part cost. SO?? worker comes 5 minutes n2 oh gnna be expensive. So I already knew had quotes from other co. 600$ max.so worker say oh no 1000$ , so by time I got my husband on phn jumped to 1500$$ for 2 parts gas valve , circuit board. RIDICULOUS!! So 75$ later very disappointed. I specifically told Ariel plz dont come if you gnna try hustle me.i guess they needed that 75$. So guess what ?? I found a reputable co that is replacing the furnace completely not 2 parts at 1500$ for 2k. Very polite very professional. At least I'll show you more respect than was shown to me I shalt name co. Found on Thumbtack though. I'd advise folks look there first. Very disappointed. Be careful as this was my true experience. Research what these co say all of them.
I got ahold of NBL through Home Advisor and a man named Ariel came to look at our furnace. He never turned the unit on to troubleshoot any issue. He went in the attic, banged around for a bit then came to us stating the computer was out (he meant circuit board), he could see a Freon leak and he could smell gas. He said to turn everything off and we should replace the entire unit for a discounted price of $5500. I knew this was all garbage but I was polite as I escorted him to the door. I called another company who fixed the unit without any parts for the price of a service call. I will NEVER use NBL and I would advise all I know, speak to or text to NEVER use this crooked company.
Excellent experience and fantastic service; the team met all expectations and exceeded with some. Installed two new AC units and thermostats at my house in Sep-2021. Most competitive pricing I found in Houston. Owner showed up to quote, was friendly, professional, and gave clear expectation of service. The crew showed up on time and worked flawlessly and diligently throughout the day. I would and will call again for future AC/Heating needs.
