Ben is best in H Town and has been a professional for the entire time. He is not a regular HVAC guy. One thing which I liked the most is, he does not want to sell you unnecessary stuff… He is an expert in this field and always thinks about customer’s delight…. I would definitely recommend Ben & SUBCOOL
Ben was extremely nice and attentive. Showed up on time and on short notice which is uncommon in this demand. He was able to help us and get my AC back on track. His prices are extremely reasonable and gave great tips for the summer. We will be referring him to friends and family too. Thanks for helping us out!
Subcool Heating and AC has always been very thorough and reasonable. They are great in identifying HVAC builder defects that cause inefficiencies.
After 30 years of using the same HVAC Company, the company closed it's doors due to a serious injury the owner experienced. I was dreading the search for a new HVAC maintenance and repair company. Through a referral, I found Ben Torres SubCool and the experience has been wonderful. I have used him for repair on my old unit that I knew was going to have to be replaced, as well as installing a complete new system, to now having semi annual maintenance. I have found Ben to be honest, professional and very Competitive in his pricing.
Ben is great. He is very knowledgeable and reliable. He will explain the entire process and give you a better understanding of what went wrong and how to fix it. I have used his services several times. Will definitely recommend him to others.

Every year, I would dread for summer to arrive because I was without a doubt, going to have AC issues. The cost of repairs are outrageous and not to mention the inconvenience it causes to be without air conditioner in the middle of summer, IN HOUSTON, TX! Until I found Subcool AC Service, I finally can enjoy my summers without worrying about any A/C malfunctions and all the high cost repairs. I've been using Subcool A/C and Heating for about 8 years. At first, Ben Torres; the owner, would repair my old AC system. I can recall one night, as i arrived home from work, my AC gave out all of a sudden. It was about 8 p.m. I was actually calling to see if he could fit me in his schedule for the following day, and he remembered i had small children and he said he would stop by that same night. He had my AC working by 10 p.m. I was soo grateful for his assistance and consideration. Subcool AC Company is awesome. Their professionalism is on point! Their work is very clean, orderly and rapid. Ben Torres, the owner, is very fair in his pricing, and if he can find a way to save you money he will find alternatives or work arounds. When he provides you a quote, he writes all the information and thoroughly explains everything to his customer and answers any questions the customer might have. He lets his customers know exactly what is needed and cost, which makes his customers feel comfortable knowing exactly what they will be receiving and no hidden costs or add ons. I have recommended Subcool to many of my friends and family and now he has become their trusted AC and Heating service provider. Subcool definitely deserves 5++ Stars!! Totally recommended. And as a plus, this company is bilingual!!! Fluent in Spanish and English!!!
