My a/c was not working. These guys got to my house same day I called!! Found the problem in no time, got the air on!! Great guys! Really appreciated the fast service as it was close to 100 degrees that day!! Great company to deal with!!!
The technician was not willing to work at all.He told that he couldn't find the freon and they sell freon for my unit any more which was not true.Another technician came and added freon to my unit.
I want to make a shoutout for excellent response and service with 5 Star HVAC. Came in on time as scheduled on a Saturday morning to check my thermostat and AC for not working for 2 days.. The technicians were able to resolve the issue immediately. They were both pleasant and respectful. I actually have a family plan with another company in Rockwall - so I called them first about my issue but was given lies and excuses for not showing up as scheduled. From this experience, I cancelled immediately my family plan with this company in Rockwall. A lesson to cut business with this company.
This job was for my mother, a senior citizen. The technician was very nice and got the job done quickly. Thank you!
5 Star stepped in during an excessive heat wave in 2023 after our warranty-supplied company only partially fixed the problem (never checking that the air was cooling before they left). When I called to tell them they hadn't fixed the full extent of the issue, I was told they'd try to get me in sometime the next week (this is after it took almost the entire week to navigate the warranty system and get them out in the first place). Left with few options, I started calling companies and started with 5 Star. They sent out their techs to look at the issue the same day I called, they diagnosed the issue and said they'd send their team out the next day (a Sunday) as it was going to require replacing the entire system. In the meantime they loaned us a portable window unit to cool our bedroom so we could at least sleep in comfort...after a week of living in a humid sweltering box, this bit of generosity was a God-send. Yes we had to pay out of pocket, but the great workmanship (they shored up our ducts in the garage which were a mess and even leaking some), peace of mind of knowing it was done right and checked, along with the immediate positive results justify the cost. I hope this system lasts for a long time, but I'll be calling 5 Star if I need service in the future.
After I purchased my home in 2020, my air conditioner died in 2021. I asked my neighborhood Facebook members to recommend a repair service & 5 Star HVAC was mentioned several times. They replaced my ac unit during Covid's supply shortages and everything worked great until our recent heat wave. My home is over 45 years old & the ac unit is located in my bathroom ceiling & water began leaking into the shower. The 5 Star HVAC service man was the same one from 2021 & cleared the dripping problem. He took time explaining what caused it & gave us instructions on how to be proactive & eliminate any future dripping & service calls. I really appreciated the professional service & being considerate to this senior citizen (woman). I have & will continue telling friends & neighbors to call 5 Star HVAC when needed. I give them 5 GOLD STARS!

Wow! We had a technician come over to give us a quote within hours from our call. He was professional and took the extra step to verify that our old unit was what we assumed it was. He sent us a quote immediately. We will gather a couple more quote as this is a big purchase, but regardless I am very happy with the tech who came out.
Had a really good experience with 5 star! They were very helpful in finding my best option for a full system replacement. Came in and did a wonderful job, wasn’t a hassle, didn’t cut corners. Made sure to leave with me being comfortable with my decision and in my home. Was helpful getting extra paperwork sorted out for me and didn’t leave me just figuring it out on my own, that was very reassuring in an overwhelming time.
We had, for lack of a better description, our air conditioner's air handler causing rain inside the house. 5 star HVAC was able to give us quotes for multiple options and we eventually decided to have the air handler replaced entirely. They did this for a reasonable price and even repaired much of the ductwork that was damaged prior to the incident. The workers were very professional and did not leave until they were confident the system was at maximum efficiency. To top it all off their response time was 2 days better than anyone else. Definitely give these guys a call.
I don’t recommend companies unless they are outstanding and I can highly recommend 5 Star HVAC contractors. Our air was going out periodically and with the hot weather predicted I wanted to get it taken care of. I called a company who promptly came out and said we had no Freon and adding Freon wouldn’t last long and quoted me $12,000 to replace the unit. I called another company for a 2nd opinion and they said they could come out next Tuesday. This was Wednesday. I called 5 Star and they had someone out that day.The technician, Chip, who was great, and showed up earlier than expected said that we were low on Freon and gave us a couple of options and said he’d get us an estimate which we got the same evening. Long story short we had the unit installed on Friday and the installers were just courteous as everyone we dealt with from Five Star. They were in and out in less than 2 hours and other than the cool air you wouldn’t know any work had been done. Thanks 5 Star. Well done!
Woke up this morning to discover our a/c was not working. I called 5 Star at 9:00. Chip was here around 11:00. He was gone by 11:30. We are cool again! And it's Saturday of a holiday weekend! We will never call anyone else but 5 Star. Very happy!

Same day repair, great service! Our technician Chip, arrived on time, was very polite, and very knowledgeable. He had our central air conditioning unit diagnosed and fixed quickly. The cost of the repair was what I expected and competitive with other companies I had called. I will call 5 Star HVAC Contractors next time I am in need of HVAC services.
I signed up for their maintenance plan and so far am impressed with their courtesy, professionalism and punctuality. They seem to care about their customers! I have not had any work done yet so I will update review after we have a work order! Thanks so much for caring about our home and hvac system!!!

Chip was very friendly and professional. I called 5star out to diagnose any problem with my A/C and to provide possible solutions. Chip was very thorough and was able to diagnose the problem quickly. He went so far as to give tips and tricks beyond what was asked that will save us money down the road. In the end I was provided with a no pressure estimate for the work that should be done. I will be using 5star for the repair work as well.
5 Star was recommended to us by a neighbor and their work exceptional in our time of need. Our AC went out during 100 degree weather in Dallas and the 5 Star team replaced the part the failed and got our HVAC unit to cool again. Would highly recommend this company for their service, professionalism, and pricing compared to the competition.
