Tall Guy AC is easy to work with and repaired our AC at a great price. I highly recommend them.
Our A/C unit was on its last leg, so we called Tall Guy out based on a referral. More than happy we did! They came out the next day and gave us a quote. Their quote was $2k cheaper that a previous one we were given. We decided to go with them, and they were out 2 days later to install it. Highly recommend them!
My AC went out the first day of 106° weather. I initially called a big corporate group and was placed on their long waiting list. A friend suggested tall guy AC and heating. I texted them and received a quick response. Jacob was at my house within a couple of hours and had my AC up and running with an easy repair. The rate was extremely reasonable. I learned that this is a local family-owned business. I love to support local businesses... especially one with such high integrity. I highly recommend Tall Guy AC and Heating.
Jeff and Jacob from Tall Guy A/C have always come in clutch when needed throughout the years. They have performed smaller repairs to get the AC running in the dog days of summer. They have also replaced an entire downstairs unit. In all cases, they have been affordable and honest. Moreover, Jacob came to the rescue during the weekend yesterday in a matters of hours. Highly recommend!
Hey, I want to tell you I wholeheartedly endorse Tall Guy AC/Heating. They installed my heat pump a few years ago. I noticed since I first turned my AC on a couple weeks ago that the air blowing through the house didn’t seem cool. Then I realized that when the air is blowing, my outside unit isn’t even on. So I called him today for help. He came right over and checked the outside unit. He discovered that it had shut off, probably because it was heavily covered by tree limbs back after the ice storm. It’s a safety function that it shut down without proper ventilation. He pushed the switch to remedy that, then I asked him if he’dinspect my system while here, which he did. Didn’t take long. He said it looks like new. Didn’t charge me a penny. And he advised that I switch to the cheapest filters I can buy and change them more regularly, rather than using the high MERV ones I have on hand. High MERV filters are too hard on the unit.
They were recommended me by a friend for whom they have been to-go company for all AC/heating related. My friend has been working with them for years and has always been very happy with the service. I had exactly same experience. Reasonably-priced and honest(!) business. Highly recommended!
If you are looking for a local business with integrity, look no more! Our A/C went out over the weekend. Tall Guy came out first thing Monday morning and diagnosed that the motor had gone out. They determined the unit was still under warranty, PTL, and advised me to get the original installer back out to have it repaired. As they were leaving, I asked "What do I owe you for your time?" He said, "We didn't fix anything, its no charge!" Who does that anymore? I was blown away! Tall Guy just gained a customer for life!
These guys showed up super quick once I notified them of an issue. They were able to immediately diagnose the issue and replace the needed part very quickly. The price was in line with what I expected. Professional, quick, and knowledgeable at a fair price. This will be my go to service provider for all of my future needs, and I would and will recommend them to my friends and family.
Prompt and honest. The tech gave me a couple options to fix my A/C and didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need. The least expensive option worked well just like he predicted and he saved me a couple grand. Definitely recommend calling these guys first!

I had an issue with my HVAC condensate drain clogging which kept shutting down my system. Tall guys showed up shortly after calling and fixed the issue. I’ve been needing to get the down stairs system completely replaced and they gave me a competitive quote and did a great job replacing the system with a new 16seer Rheem. Very happy.
Jeff and Jacob are the ONLY HVAC guys I will call in Round Rock. I have used them 2 times and rate them 11 on a scale of 10!

Our air conditioning recently went out on a Friday evening. Because of course on Friday. Their Facebook chat rep was responsive and got me onto the schedule to be seen first thing Monday morning. Another AC company had come out and told us that about $700 worth of parts would have to be replaced to even see if the condenser was working properly. The unit was 23 years old, so I figured it's time to replace it. I got the first AC company to offer a bid and asked Tall Guy to do the same thing on Monday. Within about 15 minutes of their arrival, Jacob came inside and told me he had fixed our AC unit. I was stunned and told him I thought they were just bidding a replacement. His response was that he wanted us to have AC during late July/early August and to not have to make a big decision under duress. Further, he said that he wasn't going to charge us for the repair, even if we went with another company's bid to replace the AC unit. He said just to call him and he'd come out and take his parts off, free of charge. Needless to say, I was absolutely shocked by his level of service for us, then I was pleasantly surprised by how competitive his bid was to replace our outside unit and furnace. It was significantly cheaper than the other company with a warranty that's twice as long. These guys are the best and they're the only AC company I'm going to call going forward. I highly recommend them both for their professional/competitive service as well as their dedication to their customers.
Used these guys three times in three years without any issue. Why not use them again. Wrong...I asked my wife to schedule our annual visit and check freon levels. Historically and what I expect is an assessment with cost. Nope not this time. Instead my wife was informed after they performed the work and gave her the bill for $385. Really who in their right mind thinks this is acceptable. Recommendation would be to hover of them the entire time to make sure you are approving the expenses or get in writing of some sort that states billable work aside from the visit must be discussed and approved by you before performed.
I called Tall guy and they came the same day. Multiple AC experts were here and couldn't figure out the problem. Tall guy was here 5 mins and discovered the air filter had a piece of plastic film on it. I will never call anyone but Tall Guy in the future!
I sent my info through their website for an estimate to replace my a/c but no one responded in 72 hrs.
