I have used Honea for 10 years and they were ok for the first five years but after that they have gone downhill. They never caught my Freon leak in my old unit and I had to buy a new heat pump and they charged me $7000 for it which included installation. I have had this heat pump for a year and I kept telling them that my hot air was not blowing hot at all and they had at least three people come out and look at it and they said there was nothing wrong with it. I had to buy an oil heater to keep myself and my family warm this past winter. I called them one last time a week before my warranty was up and told them I wanted them to send their best guy out here and I wanted my heat pump to work when they left!!! They sent someone out different and he said my Freon was low and he proceeded to take care of it. For the first time in a year my heater was actually working properly! This company has gone downhill in the last few years because they are not hiring quality people. David is the owner and he is now 80 years old and only comes in a few hours in the morning and his son is running the show and maybe that’s the problem. His son Adam was extremely rude to me while I was trying to get my heat pump to work before my warranty went out. I am currently looking for a new AC company to service my heat pump because I have fired them!!! To anyone who is reading this, don’t use this company because you will regret it.
Never used this business but if I’m judging them by their parking then no thanks.
Honea Air was the only quote that I received that was an "honest assessment" of the problem and offered a reasonable solution to my HVAC system. They didn't try to "up-sale" me on a new system. They saved me $$ and the install was efficient and professional.

So, my fairly new a/c stopped blowing cold air suddenly one day and I thought it would be a quick fix as it usually is something minor. After 3 different techs checked it out and I discussed it with Adam they were sure that the return duct was pulling in attic air even though we couldn't see an opening. After some cramped attic crawling I found the separated duct, taped it back together and all is good. It had us all baffled for a while because it was well hidden and everything was checking out. All of the guys were diligent and eager to find the problem. I was especially relieved when I told Adam I thought it wasn't "fixable" and he said it's definitely fixable and he would stay on it until it was working properly even if he had to bring a manufacturer rep out there. Good old fashioned small town service? I reckon we're blessed with that but this is how they've always helped me with my a/c issues for 18 years now.

At 3:30 on Friday afternoon my AC stopped working. I called Honea Air and they sent a repairman out. AC was up and running before 5:30. I had had this level of service from them for over 8 years.
Our A/C went out last night and I had found on a social site that Honea Air, right here in Rockwall, was highly recommended. I called them this morning to see if they could come out soon to assess and fix the problem. They came out quickly and had the unit up and running within an hour of arrival. Can't say enough about their service, customer relations and the price was very good considering their speed in arriving and accuracy of the fix. Highly recommended by me now.
Reasonable pricing and very prompt. Didn't try to upsale or BS me. They understand a customers money is important. Honest about what is truly needed and what is not.
