Ace is an incredible company! Three weeks ago my husband and I purchased a new home in Cleburne, TX from Heartland Home Builder LLC/Andrew Milliman, Burleson, TX. Since our purchase, I have called Ace twice regarding air flow being heavy (cold) in a couple of rooms and warmer in others. I understand this to be very normal on a new system. They came out promptly each time. Here's the most amazing part of this story: Unbeknownst to us, the builder had failed to pay Ace for services rendered on this property months prior to us purchasing the home. Ace never once said a word to me when I called and needed service. Unfortunately, Ace did have to file a mechanics lien affidavit claim with a lawyer. I was never aware of the significant outstanding balance until I was sent a certified letter by the lawyer, outlining the details of the claim. Technically, Ace could have denied providing us any service, but they did not! Not only did they provide us great service, every single person I have been in contact with has be amazing. It took 6 months for them to honor the thermostat's manufacturer warranty on a system they installed. They finally agreed to cover the part but charged $180 for labor. We were reluctant but went ahead and paid them $180 (labor only as Honeywell covered the part) to install a new Honeywell thermostat. During the install, the new thermostat would not turn on the zone. The tech had to keep going upstairs and he finally got it to connect but it would not stay connected. Our system had no issue cooling until they switched out the thermostat and now the zone with the new thermostat will not turn on. At this point we wish we would have kept our old thermostat that you just had to press multiple times but at least it turned on the air.
Great service! Our AC went out late in the evening on a Friday in the heat of summer and with two babies we needed to get it working quick. Texas Ace sent out a tech early the very next morning. They did a great job with the repair and got it working before 10am.
AC decided to quit working on a Friday after hours. I called Texas Ace and they came promptly on Saturday and fixed it. Martin was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Texas Ace for all your AC needs. I give 5 stars to both Martin and Texas Ace.

Andrew was professional and explained each function he was performing and why. No one ever wants to dump thousands into repairs on a 5 year old HVAC system (Lennox and both units have had the same issue), but when you need work done, call Texas Ace.
This guy was reasonably priced but the price are now outrageous.. $600 for coming out and diagnosing the problem in my mini-split; he charged $110/hr for his labor and to advise i replace my machines and i still have the same problems. It literally costed me $400 to replace the whole unit by shopping around on my own. So for him to diagnose the issue will cost more than simply buying a new mini-split. Also if you buy the mini-splits from them you are looking at like $4000 instead of $400. This company upon hearing my disservice reached out to me and made it right, they had no idea that this was a thing they said their mini split comes with a 10 year warranty and comes from a reliable distributer so hence the cost for peace of mind of quality assurance, I appreciate the one on one customer service and I can see they really pay attention to their customers needs, Thank you Ace Heating and Air for ur Honesty.
We are new to using Texas Ace , heating and air, but we could not be more pleased with the service we received from our technician Moses. Extremely friendly, very thorough and very informative on everything that we needed to do. He did an amazing job and made sure that everything was completed. Not only on our maintenance but a few other issues that needed to be fixed from moving into our new home. It is so nice to see that there are employees out there at this time that are still willing to go above and beyond what needs to be done. Thank you! Abby P.
John came to our house and was so thorough. He fixed the problem with the unit...He explained everything...He was courteous and professional. He covered additional things such as warranty and registration that he didn't have to do. He truly went above and beyond. He was excellent, make sure to request John when you call. Thanks Texas Ace ! The Lady/staff members who took my call was very compassionate that my heating system wasn't working . She had a tech the same day within 6hrs of my call servicing the system. The tech Moe Herrera was the best very professional, kind and knowledgeable of the problem. The tech Moe H. did a diagnostic and installed a new motor within a hour 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 with today's low dropping to 30 degrees.
We live in a 60 year old home and I think it may have still had the original system! (kidding) I only kid about that to say our entire system, inside and out, had to be replaced. Rick came first to see what all needed to be done and he was absolutely spot on! As a disabled person, the day they did the work came with quite a bit of anxiety for me but it didn’t have to. They arrived right on time and got right to work following Rick’s plan. These guys all worked as a team and i barely even knew they were here. When the finished up the cleaned up behind themselves some instructions on maintaining the system (frequency to change the filters, service maintenance suggestions, etc) and out they went. You couldn’t even tell they had been there! Since their installation, our home has been so nicely cooled when it was hot and heated the few days it’s been cooler. I will definitely recommend Texas Ace to me friends and family! Thank you, Texas Ace! You have new life long customers!
This has been a two year process that has just been unbearable. Our unit was installed December 2019. Since then we have had 5-6 service calls out to our house, for the same issue (all but one time) our heat has not functioned properly. We were told it was a switch issue, that was fixed (but wasn’t). Our heat was running on aux mode nearly 24/7 causing our electric bill to skyrocket. Was then told it was an issue with the ecobee, so we replaced that… now here we go again with the heat not working- blowing cold air. Today they finally find the problem and now since we’re out of warranty for labor only (parts should still be covered) the cost to “fix” our HVAC that NEVER worked properly is going to be over $1600. Oh and I’m being told by the technician that he’s giving me a deal on that…. Is this a friggin joke? You could not find the issue the 5 times before when we were under warranty, but now you find it? It’s like a miracle right? What a bunch of scammers.
I’ve used this company for years and have not had an issue, until I tried having my HVAC replaced. On October 19th I emailed Shawn Bell to schedule an appointment and on October 25th I received an email from Phillip Seward confirming that on November 10th the work would be done. Since it was a big project I asked for financing options and Phillip sent me those options on the 26th and I applied. A week had passed and I had not heard if I had been approved or denied so I emailed Phillip and Shawn Bell on November 4th to check my status. No answer, so I emailed again on the 8th with no answer so I called Phillip directly on the 8th and spoke with him on the 9th and found out that he had NOT PROCESSED MY APPLICATION YET. I voiced my concerns about the application process; which is why I asked the week before about the status, and he dismissed my concerns as if it didn’t matter. Had my wife apply, mind you this is THE NIGHT BEFORE the supposed installation. Received a text and email this morning (11/10) at 6:04 am that we were denied. I took off work for this project AND THE MORNING OF I find out that it can not be done. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and DISRESPECTFUL to treat someone as if there time and concerns don’t matter. I tried to avoid THIS VERY SCENARIO! I’m a member of their program, but am contemplating even being a customer.
I just can say it over 1000 times without writing a review how Texas Ace & The Staff take care of their customers and it ain’t no façade it’s just TRUST you will definitely appreciate and can sleep with! Thanks to Everyone at Texas Ace!
Texas Ace Heating & Air 5 Star Company from sales to installation. Three employees started, one of the most difficult jobs, at 9:30 and completed by 3:30. They were professional and left my home clean. They additionally included 4 smart thermostats, purification system, ten year parts and labor contract that was not included by three other companies costing me less money. Other companies offered Bryant, Ruud, and Comfortmaker not rated like Lennox.
Moses Herrera from Texas Ace Heating & Air worked on my Warrenty service request. He was very professional and was very quick in diagnosing the issue. Builders did a bad job while installing the primary and secondary drains and the emergency tray was full of backwater. Moses Herrera fixed the drains, vacuum the water out and was kind enough to educate me on the regular maintenance of AC unit. I would definitely recommend Moses Herrera to any kind of issues with Heating and Air conditioning systems. My 5 stars to Moses Herrera !
My AC hasn’t worked right since we bought our (brand new) house in 2017. I had several companies out who said they fixed it and charged me whatever amount they felt like. The problem was never fixed. I called a different company and they quoted me over $5000 to “fix” our problems. And would only be available during the off season. I finally found Texas Ace and called. I somehow, the Gods must have been shining down on me that day, got in touch with Shawn. He came to look at my system, ACCURATELY diagnosed the problem, told me he could easily fix it, AND at an insanely low price. He was so responsive, kind, and professional. I honestly didn’t know quality people and companies still existed. After they made the repairs, HE REACHED OUT TO ME to see how it was working. I said much better but now we are struggling with airflow in a different area. They came out again and fixed the airflow free of charge. I almost never write reviews but Shawn and Texas Ace are very deserving of every glowing review on here. Best experience I’ve ever had with any service company ever. Call them.
Hugo did an excellent job of diagnosing. My compressor was going bad. I didn’t want to believe him because of the cost of replacing it. The compressor started working again after it reset but within a month it went out again. Hugo was all over it and came out to replace my compressor under warranty and I just had to pay for the labor and the refrigerant thank you Texas Ace, heating and air for taking care of my home and my family. I’m a disabled vet and not having air conditioning made me feel like a failure to my family, not providing them air conditioning in the heat.
