Owning a home for over 30 years one meets many, many service people. We had work done by Performance Air and Heating. The service person's name is Mason. He had the biggest welcoming smile when I opened the door. That was a great beginning!!! He was neat and clean and respected our flooring by putting on shoe covering. The heat here in Mansfield TX, was over 100' No complaints from him and no shortcuts on the maintenance he had to do. We know he actually went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. He was respectful and very professional. I would rate Mason a 5 Star and have him in for a raise and a promotion. Also, I rate Performance Air and Heat a 5 Star as well. I know they were over booked because of the record-breaking heat, yet they did their best to fit me in and kept communication with me the time frame their repair person would arrive. We had a crisis with one of our 2 units in this June heat wave, where the temps have been 101-104, with a heat index of up to 110. After first trying a repair, Drew got us fixed up with 2 new units ASAP. The installers were professional, and Norman came the next day for a quality control check up. Everything is working properly and we are so grateful! We will continue to use Performance Heat and Air for maintenance!
Absolutely worst company to deal with! They installed the unit on our house 2.5 years ago and when we called them back for service work on the unit the lady was so professional that she laughed at us on the phone about service work. No worries! If you’re looking for a company that is professional enough to handle your problem and have customer service skills check out nextgen!
This is what I call a professional business. I choose them due to issues with a home warranty and I wanted a Trane unit. They didn’t just try and have me replace my unit even though that’s what another company told me. They first trouble shooted the problem and showed me the issue. Ended up just needing an outside unit and not the whole system(unlike others). From time of diagnosis to full repair was 24hrs. This company truly cares about what’s best for their customers. They are professional and polite.

Prompt analysis of old coolant leak. Reasonable, accurate estimate for new system. Installed three days later: on-time team and equipment arrival, careful installation protecting floors inside; thorough and friendly installation team with good supervision, job completed early. Definitely recommend and will use again.
I came across Performance Heat and Air while searching for a replacement HVAC system and I'm so glad I did. Drew was very professional and went out of his way to answer all my questions while providing a great price. During, the day of installation their team did a great job and everything went well. They're amazing and I would highly recommend to anyone.

They were very professional, courteous and insured all of my questions were answered before leaving. We were shopping for a new HVAC and decided to check out Performance Heat and Air as one of our options. Drew was wonderful to work with. He answered all of my questions, gave us pros/cons of each system, presented very competitive options, was very responsive, and overall very pleasant to work with. The installation team, lead by Victor, continued to be pleasant to work with. They did an excellent job with the installation. They showed up timely, cleaned up nicely, and explained everything that I needed to know about the new system. It went very smooth and the system runs like dream. I appreciate how easy it was to do with Performance Heat and Air. The 0% financing was a nice bonus too!
We had our entire Heating and A/C system replaced in December. Drew came to our home and talked us through our options and costs and offered a very fair price with some added discounts. After approving the purchase, Performance came to our home and in a single day completely replaced our old system with a new Trane system. Except for a minor cleanup issue (which was resolved quickly and to our complete satisfaction) we having been using our new system without problems. We are pleased that we chose to have Performance do this work.
With the cold snap suddenly my outdoor unit started shaking violently. This is my first home with a heat pump. I called and the gal told me to put it in emergency heat mode and explained what was going on. No cost to me and no profit to them but I know who I'll call now if I ever have a problem that requires service.
The Performance team responded very quickly to my initial ask for estimate, and they gave me a very reasonable quote for both my downstairs and upstairs systems. They had my new systems installed less than a week later. Very pleased with everyone I worked with.

My mom's system needed to be replaced. From the quote to the final installation, we were very pleased with our experience. Everyone was very professional, courteous and accommodating to our requests. The team at Performance Heat and Air have taken great care of us over the years on maintenance. We needed them recently on a new unit outside the shop and needed duct work in the ceiling to add air flow to the breakroom. The experience was quick and professional. Our 22-year-old AC/heat pump system died in the middle of the July/August 2022 heat, with outdoor temps consistently above 100 degrees. I found Performance Heat and Air on The Good Contractors List, visited their web site, and made a call. The service technician, Chris, arrived the same day, found that the AC compressor was dead, inspected the air handler unit, and suggested that due to the system's age and inefficiency, we should consider replacing the system. There was no pressure, no sales pitch; he contacted his office, and despite the fact it was well after 5 p.m., they returned his call and said their consultant would be out the following day between 1-3 p.m. Drew called the following morning and actually arrived ahead of schedule. He was very helpful, providing information on different systems, costs, and rebates; and after some paperwork, he was able to schedule installation to begin between 6:45-7:45 a.m. the next day. The installers arrived on time, were friendly, professional and courteous, took time to explain the programmable smart thermostat, and checked the vents in each room once the system was up and running. An inspector from the company arrived to check their work when it was near completion. In all, installation took about five hours, and the house was cool again within an hour. For most of us, major purchases — a car, a home system, a home repair — usually come with apprehensions about price, quality, and value. Performance Heat and Air made this a very good experience — I'm confident we picked the right company and made a good purchase.
After an unpleasant experience with another company, Performance Heat and Air were delightful to work with from beginning to end. Drew was very informative and patient and not coercive or pushy at all. He simply shared all our options and left the decision to us. Our installers were extremely professional, clean, and thorough with their work. We love our Trane Variable 18 SEER HVAC systems with AprilAire filters, Air Scrubber UV Lights, and Trane ComfortLink 1050 programmable thermostats. This is our first time with a variable HVAC system and we can definitely feel the difference with very comfortable indoor air and incredible humidity control. We highly recommend Performance Heat and Air!
