This is the only Ac repair person we use . Thank you Carlos for responding fast he goes out of his way to fix the problem. For anyone that needs there Ac repaired call him . Does a great job .
I have called on Airfix for all of my heating and air Conditioning problems and have been very satisfied with the service. For example, yesterday the motor on the air conditioning unit stopped working. I called Carlos late in the afternoon. He was on his way home from work and took the time to drive over here to solve our problem. I'm so grateful he was able to work on the unit. I find Carlos to be an honest person and very knowledgeable about the air and heating business.

My A/C went out and I called Carlos at AirFix. He was very professional and explained everything that was going on and why the part that went out was no longer working properly. His knowledge and expertise makes you feel at ease as he explains to you what needs to get repaired. He got my A/C up and running again and can't thank him enough. Carlos has been my go to guy for AC since I have lived in The Woodlands. He is extremely conscientious in his work and will only do what is necessary. I have called him when company arrived and my AC went out and he squeezed me in and repaired it!! Always prompted and courteous. Can’t ask for anything more!!

Working with Carlos at Airfix was a pleasure. I gave him a call around 11am, explained my issue, and he was at my house that afternoon. He was really kind, knowledgeable, and explained exactly what the issue was and how he fixed it. I was expecting to have to shell out a chunk of money when it came time to pay, but was shocked with how reasonable the cost was. I highly recommend giving Airfix a call.
The owner has helped us at least 3 times in the past years with various projects. He is always professional and does a great job. Today he came out to one of our rental properties and had the unit running within about 30 minutes. We will continue to use his services in the future. Great job, Carlos !
Too bad it took me until selling my house to find Airfix. Outside unit went out and had another company come out and diagnose. After trying to upsell a whole unit replacement, I still got a shock of all the parts that needed to be replaced (relay, both capacitors, compressor for $950). The guy had to "order" the relay and wanted to come back and fix while I was in another town moving. He also told me that if he turned it on and the parts blew, he could salvage his capacitors but had to still charge me $250 for the damaged parts. Then I would have to pay $3900 for a new outside unit. I'm glad I called Airfix for a 2nd opinion. Carlos came out 20 mins after I called him. He sat there and tested the capacitors right in front of me to show that both of them were still good! Then he showed me that the compressor wasn't coming on because the high pressure switch had tripped. He reset the switch and the compressor turned right on!!! Now the fan motor wasn't turning on. So he replaced it and my upstairs unit was running again! I'm so glad for honest people like Mr. Garza. I never write reviews but I had to make an exception for Airfix. If you need your HVAC serviced, trust that Airfix will be honest and straightforward with you! If I was still living in the area l, this would be my goto HVAC company.
AirFix delivers top AC service. Not all small businesses are made the same. Strongly recommended! Mr Garza, local resident and owner of AirFix, answered immediately, came 1st thing the next morning to take care of my dead AC, found the problem and the best and most cost efficient fix, and took care of it. Others told me I had to replace the whole system, about $7,000. He found a leak, fixed it and refilled freon, noticing that the unit was in pretty good shape still. Saved me thousands! He also was the most reasonable quote I got out of 5 calls. A few weeks later my AC didn’t seem to work, all night blowing warm air. Mr. Garza called back within 15 mins. and walked me through a few things to check to rule out a big problem. The fix had to do with thermostat settings, it solved the issue and avoided a big bill. It also gave me peace of mind, and reminded me that there are still good, honest people doing business out there. If you have any AC related issue, give AirFix a call. Carlos with AirFix is very dependable and honest! He helped us keep our very old unit running just a little while longer toward the end of summer before then replacing with a new unit the following spring. He never tried to upsell any service or suggest repairs that were not needed. He shows up on time and gets the job done quickly and efficiently. He came highly recommended from our Nextdoor neighborhood app where he has many great reviews from other happy customers as well.

Carlos is very prompt and great at his job! It is Sunday morning, and he came out within 30 minutes. He is very affordable. Also, he is extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to figure out what was wrong with our system. I will be calling him every time! (Hopefully, it won't be too often)
