Knowing enough about A/C to be dangerous, believe this place has been nothing but honest, straightforward, and always less expensive than others over the 15 years been using.

These guys were awesome! They are very honest and sincere and truly care about the customer! They were extremely responsive! Same day service. They didn't just try to sell us a new furnace, which most companies do! They made an attempt to repair it and it did work so we had heat in this cold winter. We ultimately had to replace the electric furnace (it was over 35 years old!). They gave us a great price and have a wonderful maintenance agreement! Installation was timely! They even brought us heaters for overnight until they could get the new system put in the very next day! 5 stars for sure! VERY VERY PLEASED! I HIGHLY recommend Affordable American !
Affordable American a.c. is one of the best companies I have worked with. They are true to their word and installed a great multi stage system at a great price. In addition I had a radiant barrier and insulation and insulated attic door installed. They have stood by their install and product over the last 4 years. They have earned my trust and I would recommend them to anyone. Edit 6/5/2020 I have used Affordable American AC twice since .moving to a new home. Always reliable and fair. Justin is outstanding. Kind, courteous and with great attention to detail. My relationship with this company dates back many years now and my trust in them has grown with each experience.

Timely, very fair price, nice technician I had paid another company to diagnose my failed air con unit. It turned out to be a bad blower motor. After I sent the other company on their way when they wanted to charge me $1,400 to repair the motor I called Affordable American Air Conditioning and they came out on time to the minute and repaired my unit for $326 in slightly over 1 hour. They are now my go to company for air con repairs!
Best A/C Service Company I have ever dealt with ! They are completely responsive, and Justin was super - he came out when our A/C had quit working. His hard work and dedication saved us ! He took care of business like a real pro, went many extra 'yards' , was very professional and friendly. These folks really know what they are doing and I never once, ever, felt like they were trying to sell me something I really did not need. And, they teach as they go !! So now I don't feel so ignorant about these very important systems. Great job, every time !!

Worked with Affordable AC and Heat on cleaning my air ducts. Chuck came out to assess my ventilation system, and essentially did a "service call" free of charge to dissect an issue I was having in my daughter's room. His team showed up to do the duct work on time and kept me updated throughout the day on the progress. Have been pleased so far with their work and would recommend them to anyone who asks for a reputable AC or heater technician or for a duct cleaning.
They were thorough in their diagnosis of the problem. They did not try to sell us extra services and got us operational very quickly. The tech was professional and informative.
My husband and I had a new 4 ton Amana AC unit installed recently, replacing an old 3.5 ton unit. We interviewed several companies...some of which promised quotes, but never came through with them. Now we're glad they didn't because when we interviewed Charles "Chuck" Blair, owner of Affordable American A/C and Heating, we were immediately sold. Chuck was the only one who offered several different written quotes based on different possibilities we were discussing right on the spot. The others had all said they would email us quotes, which none did, even after our calling to remind them. When the day came for Chuck and his crew to start their work, they were here promptly at 8:00 am. They rolled out a canvas on our carpet to keep it clean...and it did. All of the men working here were extremely professional and so nice and polite. They went about their work outside and in our attic in a way that made us completely confident in their expertise. The job was done efficiently, cleanly and within a reasonable time frame. After the unit was installed, Chuck wanted to turn on the heating system to make sure it still worked properly (we were not having the heating system or new ductwork replaced at this time). Our ductwork is old and when it first came on, it shot out a lot of debris from the air vents. This has happened before to us, so I was not surprised. However, we hadn't covered the furniture or chandeliers, so there was quite a bit of mess to clean up. I was going to start that when I saw that Chuck had already started vacuuming everything including the glass bowls of our chandelier and had everything immaculate before I could even start! That was so above and beyond to us that we were totally impressed. My husband and I have lived in The Woodlands, TX, for 24 years and in the Houston area before that for 21 years. We've had a lot of different HVAC companies service our equipment in those 45 yrs., but we've never had a more fair-priced, professional,
Great experience. I had the duct work replaced, added a lot of insulation and had a solar powered attic fan installed. Competitive price, exceptional service.
At first contact, office mgr was attentive and responsive. Owner of the business arrived on time for our appointment and listened carefully to what I wanted to accomplish. Given my objectives, he recommended a combination of products, CertainTeed blown insulation and radiant barrier coating and attic tent that would achieve what I wanted, and the price he quoted was comparable/competitive with earlier estimates I had received. We had several weather delays, and they kept me updated, on their own initiative, each day. The process required two different days, and the work crew arrived promptly on both days. They were professional, efficient, and knowledgeable, and I was impressed by the thoroughness of their work in my complex attic space. On both days they left my home, yard, and street as clean as if they hadn't been here. The end result was exactly what I had wanted, I am pleased to recommend them, and I will work with them again on future projects.
WE HAD A DIFFICULT AIR CON PROBLEM, BUT CHUCK AND MIKE PERSEVERED AND GOT IT FIXED. ALWAYS ON TIME, POLITE, EXPLAIN EVERYTHING AND A FAIR PRICE. BY FAR THE BEST COMPANY I HAVE FOUND.
Our AC went OUT on the hottest day of the year thus far. Tonya was kind enough to schedule us the very same afternoon, and Chuck came out right on time. Chuck not only serviced our units, but provided us with a wealth of time and money saving information and education to lengthen the life of our AC. Honest family folks with up front "Affordable" pricing ! HIGHLY recommend them :D
