Our AC system stopped blowing cold. I got the number for Cool Cat AC & Heating from neighbor. Jay responded very quickly and was able to squeeze me in to his schedule. When they arrived with in a couple of minutes they found the problem and repaired it. Great workmanship and customer service.

We hired Cool Cat to do a service before selling our home, based on a friend’s recommendation. They fit us in, updated us on their eta, and showed up on time. He provided clear information on how well our hVAC was working and recommended a new filter. Then went above and beyond to fit us into an already full schedule to return to our home and write another report to satisfy a ridiculous inspection report from our buyer. Wow! I’m blown away (no pun intended) by their level of customer service. Can’t thank you enough! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Woke up a few weeks back to my A/C not cooling. Called up Cool Cat, and Jay was over to my home in the next couple hours. As soon as he walked up to the unit he knew what was wrong, and even stuck around to answer some questions pertaining to my furnace inside my home's attic. I will definitely call on Cool Cat in the future.
My AC was about 10 years old. I started noticing a lot of water and ice on my air filter. I removed all the covers to the unit and noticed a lot of rust and a ton of ice on the evaporator coils.. I contacted several vendors and Cool Cat responded right away. (They are open until 9pm which is super helpful). Jay came out the next day and took a look at my AC unit. He found the Freon was leaking due to the rust. He quoted me for just coils and an entirely new inside unit. It made more sense to just replace the unit. (Yes, I did a lot research before hand on the subject). I asked him about replacing the outside/entire system as well and he gave me his honest opinion and told me no. He said it still looked good and I didn't need to waste my money on it right now. They told me they would be out in two days to do the work. He called me at 8am on the day of the repair and was promptly onsite. He did all the work, was clean and very thorough. He ended up replacing the entire inside unit for only $500 more than what replacing just the coils would have cost and gave me a 10 year warranty on all parts and labor. He even stayed and helped me get the new unit registered and warranty setup online. I highly recommend Cool Cat. Very fair price, great service, punctual and quality work.
Jay with Cool Cat AC/Heating came out to repair my mini splits on 12/1/20 at that time he detected three different leaks but only had parts for two. He decided to repair the two and refill the system with freon without discussing with me when I was on the property. When he was finished he explained to me that he would need to come back to repair properly once I ordered and received the 3rd valve. He charged me $465.00 and said it would be another $365.00 when he came back. I asked him why he did not discuss with me before he finished the job. He apologized said he thought I wanted to get the system running and promised to come back to check the freon which is still leaking at anytime while I was waiting on the part. The valve took two days to come in. I called him when it did to come back but he said that the job was unprofitable for him to come back and finish the job he started.
Great service: prompt and professional. Better price for AC installation than local competitor by $800 for equivalent equipment. I found my reliable AC guy!
Jay and his crew were AMAZING! I called him and explained what the other company had told me about my AC. He came out promptly the next day and checked everything out. He explained the problem, told me he could get the part today and how much it would cost. He left to do some other jobs BUT came back the same day and completed the job! The other company kept stalling me and procrastinating. I appreciate Jay’s professionalism, empathy, efficiency and urgency he and his crew took to take care of me. His pricing for parts and labor were so reasonable! I highly recommend “Cool Cat” for your AC needs!!
On July 20, 2020 i noticed my a.c.was not blowing any cold air. I immediately called Cool Cat A.C. he responded in 40 minutes kid you not. I had told him over the phone, that i was short of cash until the following day. He said no problem, he found the cause a dirty exterior coil, a simple hose off of the condenser and i was up and running in under an hour, they were definitely life saver's. If you want fast quality service, give them a ring. You won't regret it !!
This past April we bought an old farm house in Driftwood and are starting the process of updating it. My wife and I initially wanted a few Split systems mounted in the house. Jay made house call out himself and talked about my options with us settling on a no frills central unit based on the smaller size of the house and what our realistic cooling needs would be. I was surprised by his honesty on advising what we would probably need even at a cheaper cost. We financed the unit at 0% on Thursday and the cool cat team was out here that Monday. He went above and beyond to make sure we got a good clean install at a fair price. I would highly recommend them for installs and servicing (no offense but I hope not anytime soon!)

I called for repair and automatically told coil is dirty and wires are incorrectly installed so I need a new system. Felt they would rather sell a new unit than admit he didn't know how to fix the problem. No volt meters or tools to check unit. Annoyed I spent money to be told to spend more.
They come out as soon as possible, and make sure that it's working before they leave. We have used them 3 times and its been a wonderful experience every time. I can't say enough to praise them. They definitely know what they are doing and at a reasonable price. My whole family has used them for 5 years now.
