Called the after hours line for help but no one answered and called the next business day in the morning and was schedule for a 3-3:30 appointment. My A/C had gone out in and needed help all I got was a no call no show. They don’t seam to care enough to reschedule or even stay in contact. I wouldn’t recommend them at all.
I just had my AC unit serviced in preparation for summer. I had made an appointment back in early January for last week in March. Sure enough LT, the Georgetown Air Conditioning & Heating technician, arrived right on schedule. He did an outstanding job, checked everything and even cleaned the compressor fins. Georgetown AC & Heating exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for a reliable, knowledgeable AC company, then I highly recommend Georgetown Air Conditioning & Heating.
I've waited a long time to write this review, in the hope that the owner would follow through on his many promises and correct the issues in the new system he installed in 2021. This never happened so I had to go to another company, where I discovered that my system was never registered by GT Heat and Air (as they had stated they would). So instead of a 10 yr warranty from Bryant, it would now be a 5 yr since it needed to be registered within 90 days of install/purchase. Additionally, I never received a receipt for the purchase, so I had to go by a confirmation email so the new company could fight for the warranty in my behalf. We should never have been sold this system for our house, since it would not operate in the most efficient manner - nor was it even installed correctly. We ended up finally getting everything fixed and sorted out by our new company - who persevered in fixing the issues for us. GT Heating and air makes many promises, which are not kept. The follow through is awful. The only positive was Melinda - the office manager - who was very kind and tried her best to get our issues resolved. Techs come and go, but don't stay with this company - and many are not proficient at the job. I tried for over the past year and a half to give them every chance to make things right, but I finally gave up. We spent a lot of money on a higher end system that was not suited for our home. At least we now have an awesome Heating and AC company that follows through on their word with actions. I would not recommend GT A/C and Heat.
GT AC and Heating has done a great job for us over the years. They have an excellent technician who we have been thrilled to work with. Blake is an incredibly personable young man and very knowledgeable. He has replaced two programmable thermostats for us along with handling our maintenance and filter changes over the last couple of years. He is a true pleasure to deal with. Additionally calling into their business, the receptionist/scheduler is always friendly and accommodating. Great company!!! Keep up the great service.
Worst communication in a company ever. I will never recommend this company to anyone.
I had an appointment for them to come out and look at an issue I was having with my AC. They never showed up. I called them after two hours of waiting and left a message to see if they were still coming or if I had the day or time wrong. They never called back.
This company is definitely a 5 star company. We were saved several days of misery by their prompt service. Blake came out on 7/19/22 and verified that the inside blower motor of our HVAC had stopped working. To get us through the night, Blake temporarily installed a portable air conditioning unit that cooled the bedroom. This portable unit wasn’t one of those low efficiency evaporative cooler types, but a real A/C that expelled the exhaust through an outside window, with a duct and adapter panels. I was very impressed that the company would loan equipment like this. The next day, Blake returned with a new blower motor and our house A/C was running in about an hour. While in the attic, Blake was working in 122 deg temps, as measured by an attic thermometer. Kudos to Blake for enduring the heat and getting our unit repaired in a timely manner.
Overall, the service was great. I was told the repairman would be here between 2-4. Around 4:45, I gave them a call because no one had shown up. I was worried it would hit 5:00 and I’d be rescheduled. When I called the office, I was promptly given an explanation for the tardiness and a new time. (Texas heat is real and he has been held up on a previous job.) Both times I contacted their office: Scheduling the repair and contacting to check on arrival time, the staff was incredibly friendly, thorough, competent, and communicative. The technician showed up and immediately had an idea of what the problem was. He got started and fixed the problem. The clogged drain is something we’ve experienced before. He suggested a permanent solution to the problem and even though I wasn’t ready to make that decision yet, he clearly communicated all costs, steps, and took the time to walk us through everything he had done….twice. Appreciate Zach’s professionalism and understanding. Will use this company again.

The technician, Zach Collins, was knowledgeable and efficient. While he initially thought the AC needed refrigerant, he rechecked and determined it was just fine. Thanks, Zach!

We've had Georgetown AC out several times. They have prolonged the life of our outside AC unit, keeping us from a very expensive replacement cost. We actually called them after another company said all they could do was a full replacement. Georgetown AC has fast, reliable, professional and friendly techs that treat our time and property with respect and care. Highly recommend them for any AC repair.
Embarrassingly bad service. Paid in full and couldn't get them to schedule an appointment. What a waste!

First, would I use them again for a new install - yes. I will also sign-up for their maintenance contract now that the two free initial maintenance visits have been used. Overall Georgetown AC has been very responsive to any issues that I have had. I had two completely new installs at my house. One went flawlessly. The other had issues. which I am giving Georgetown AC the benefit of doubt that the issues were related to quality issues from Trane. Regardless the second install did have issues. Restating what I said earlier, Georgetown AC has been very responsive in resolving the issues. They never left me feeling that I was not important to them. The primary service technicians that have been to my house, Blake and Zac, have worked to make sure I was happy before they left. Zac even resolved an Ecobee issue which was unrelated to the work Georgetown AC had performed.
Blake did a great job. Helpful advice and at a fair price.
Zack is the absolute best HVAC technician. He knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail is second to none.
They installed our new Amana system two years ago and we have had an annual maintenance contract with them for many years. They are prompt, honest and price competitive.
Excellent service
They were on time; responsive and did not try to sell me anything I did not need. I will continue to use this provider in the future and it is nice that they are a local company.
