Ira was prompt, thorough and friendly. Helped us diagnose and address a problem we thought was with our tankless hot water heater, but turned out to be the pressure restrictor valve at the street. Our shower is a night and day difference!
We came home to a warmer than usual house. There was Price came out and found a short in a board on our system. Did a fantastic job we are cool again! He was very polite, very nice. Thank you Price for doing such a great job! l
We have used Stan's for over eight years and they have consistently serviced our equipment well. They installed our current systems and we have had no reason to look for another provider. The back office is professional and they communicate well about costs and scheduling. They send texts when a technician is on the way. We have had the same technicians come to our home and they have gotten to know the set up. The one time we had an issue, it was handled professionally. When the time comes to replace our system, we will have them do the work because of our track record with them. It is nice to have a trusted provider on call for such an important system in our home.
Stan's has been the most reliable, attentive, cost friendly AC company I have used. I shopped pricing for the repairs needed and they were well below the inflated quotes I was getting from competitors. Professional team quickly assessed issue and had me temporarily up and running the same day, with replacement part ready 2 days later. Highly recommend.

Michael was great. He came at 9 PM on a Sunday night, which was awesome and amazing! Within an hour he was done. And I had cool air for the first time in days.
All phases of the replacement of a 3-ton AC unit was exceptional. The price and quality of this installation was outstanding. Kudos are offered for the price quotation and installers expertise. One should always give Stan's an opportunity to bid your AC job.
I had Jesse Crawford as a technician for Stan's Heating, Air, Plumbing & Electrical. Very congenial guy, great interpersonal skills, good manners (mom deserves the credit), and great customer service. And as far as I can see, an excellent technician. He traced my A/C problem down to the main issue, following one clue after another until he had the whole picture and a full solution. I hated paying him, it costs a lot, but there is a 90-day guarantee on his work and I learned it's best to have the service contract so that, for a reasonable price, they can keep my A/C primed and tuned and hopefully avoid a shut-down in hot weather. I had to wait 3 days without air conditioning to get service, so that's a negative, but I'm so relieved to be sitting in a cool house that I won't even take off points for the delay. I was lucky enough to be able to buy a portable A/C for the duration, but I think Stan's should ask the person's age during the service call, as I am approaching 80 and if I could not afford to buy a portable AC, and did not have children to help me, I might have expired in the awful heat. I was placed in line at the sequenced point of my call, but think more info should be taken to determine if the caller is in peril. Some elderly people cannot withstand 3 days of high heat. Or, alternatively, Stan's might provide a tel no. for help when the elderly are left without A/C. However, I leave with a positive review of Stan's service call. Joan G, Austin
My 94 year old mother-in-law had no air-conditioning on 104° day! Stan’s heating and air went out of their way to get a next day appointment and fix the problem in one visit! I want to commend them for their customer service And expertise. They really went above and beyond. For us.
Efrain did an outstanding job of first checking the electrical service an pinpointing the problem which was a failed switch block. He was very safety conscious and had our air conditioning back in service in a professional manner. He was very willing to answer our questions in a friendly way . He is a great co rep!
I wasn’t home at the time of initial inspection but trusted that professionals would not just try and up-charge me unnecessarily. It’s unfortunate but after agreeing to have a new part installed I forced them to give me the old part backs. I questioned why a new part was so necessary when in reality all we needed were new screws. The installer even agreed with me. $500 late my problem could have been solved with a $0.35 screw.
I had an issue come up at my home and reached out to Stan’s online late at night. I received a call early the next morning and informed me they could send someone over. I work during the day and gave them a timeframe to show. They were able to commit to that time. Prior to arrival, I received a call from my technician Andrew. He called one hour in advance to let me know that he may run a little late and just wanted to check if that was still okay with me. When I have reached out to other places previously for home mechanical or plumbing services, I rarely ever got a call and never got a call this much in advance which was great so I could plan my around my job. Andrew showed up, did his diagnosis on potential issues and was able to resolve my problems. The city recently changed out water meters that affected pressure in my home and Andrew did a great job explaining everything to me. The issues that concerned me are now taken care of. I would highly recommend Stan’s and highly recommend Andrew. Will definitely reach out to them again with my future plumbing needs.
I called Stan's to repair a broken AC drain line. I've used them in the past for plumbing work and was very pleased with their tech's way of solving plumbing issues. Walker was awesome! He called me to say he was running late and he would be at my house within 5 minutes. He came out and fixed the drain line quickly, but carefully. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and quite energetic (despite the high heat index). He answered all the questions I had about the operation of my heat pump. Very hands on. This is the kind of guy I would want to work for me if I owned an HVAC company. Bravo Stan's for employing this wonderful tech! I'm VERY pleased.
I recently hired Stan’s to replace the damper for my ac. Big mistake! Before the work was done, I spoke to Steve in the parts dept and he said that normally the job was only $525 but they would have to charge me $175 extra because the damper was in a difficult location to get to. He said it would be a 1-2 hour job. Fair enough. However, when the technician arrived he was done and gone in under half an hour. Huh?? What exactly did I pay an extra $175 for? Is it normally a 15 minute job?? Not likely. They know how bad the heat is this summer and are gouging their customers just because they can.
Stan's was just as great as they have always been. I feared the worst when my 20 year old system was on the fritz, and then the tech said the condenser was not the problem............. But then he tested the thermostat and viola !! Problem solved. The next cheapest and most convenient piece was the solution. Thank you Price and Stan's !!
I only use this place now for all my HVAC issues and maintenance. I feel like as a female, it’s so hard to find people with integrity to do home repairs. I can say this is the only place that has sent workers that go straight to the issues, address it, and don’t try to get me to buy a whole new system or repair things that don’t need repair. The last dude that came was Prince and he literally went straight to the A/C and fixed the issue, educated us on the issue and the price was great.
Javier was very professional and easy to work with. He was on time, kept us informed on the all day project and was very efficient! He always had a smile even though this was the hottest week in Austin and in the attic! I would highly recommend him!
Abraham Ramos did an excellent job for us. Our upstairs AC unit wasn’t properly cooling and he was able to check everything and determine what the issue was. Mr. Ramos was polite, professional, and thorough. I’m very happy with Stan’s and happily recommend them to anyone having issues with their AC in this summer heat. Thank you, Abraham!
They know what they are doing and I've never been disappointed. I hired them when I built my home and again on a home I purchased. The AC technicians are trained well and can explain, to me, in English what the problem is. They are efficient and a joy to work with. Pierce was the technician here at my home last Friday and he is too notch! Paula
