I'm glad the Osgood family is back in the AC business! I started with them in 2000 when I first moved to Austin, but they sold their company to a larger firm after several years. The new company was fine, but after awhile it felt like they wanted to sell me stuff I may not need rather than offer me service. Plus they kept canceling my scheduled maintenance for my AC. So, I started looking for other options, and came across the Osgood name, and Service Wizard! Hallelujah! They kept me running through the summer of 2022. And I did choose to have them replace my AC unit this summer. I have been very comfortable with all their staff. I feel like I'm getting an honest assessment, appraisal, and estimate for the work. The techs I have met are competent, and work hard & efficiently. If you are new to the area or looking for another AC company, then give them a try.
Our serviceman, Rudy F. was on time, extremely polite and very knowledgeable. Rudy made recommendations without being pushy. Even though we are in a major heat wave and SW is very busy, they were focused on us and our needs.
Adam Henwood was terrific. His knowledge of HVAC equipment and helping us decide what replacement HVAC equipment was appropriate for our home was extremely valuable.
Update for June 2023 - I couldn't write a 2nd review for them, but wanted to add that the crew came through for me again, this time in another house with another unit. I knew my air handler in this other house was on its last legs at 17 yrs, and it finally went kaput the week of the intense heat wave in Austin. Emilio (service manager) came out to inspect it and turned out I needed to replace it. He was able to go through all the options with me so I could make an informed decision. The install crew came out within 2 days with the new unit and installed it today. These guys are trained really well and know their stuff. I feel comforted knowing they're taking care of my AC units (July 2022) A few weeks ago I had called them on a Sunday morning during this 100+ degree weather we're having in TX - my AC furnace kept going on and off and we checked everything we could (without being experts ourselves). I had called around to a couple places and called them as well on a recommendation on Nextdoor from one of my neighbors. They got me in that morning! David put me first on the list and within an hour or so of my first call, we were up and running again. David also showed me how to maintain it ourselves so we wouldn't need to call them for this particular issue again. I felt it was very honest and I appreciated it. I did have to pay the after-hours fee but I did not mind at all for having gotten someone to come out to help us so quickly. I recently called them again (today) on a separate issue with the furnace and we're waiting for replacement parts...but I already know they are going to get a 5-star review from me for that as well. They were the first place I called because I had such a good experience last time, and they got me in again right away, despite not being a long-time maintenance plan customer (other places deprioritized me because I wasn't and it almost felt punitive - some places also just never called me back). Service Wizard came out for a regular pre-summer maintenance. The tech listened carefully to what I thought I needed done, then performed his tests to confirm the unit was working properly, then repaired some insulation that had come apart that I was unaware of but needed addressing. Responsive, professional, good work and good value. Will happily see them here again in the fall for the heating check. June '23 Update. Service Wizard just saved us. We came home from vacation to a broken AC and 100+ temperatures. They came out next day, and the problem was more complex and difficult than expected and required several parts. They kept sending people until they got it fixed. It's so nice now with AC again! The AC has only run for about 30 minutes, and it is SO much more comfortable than before. It's better than when another company installed it brand new, by a LOT. They set it up much better than it ever was before and seem to be getting a lot more dehumidification out of it. TY Service Wizard!
They are spending money spamming people through the mail, however their "contact us" on the website is broken and throws a critical Wordpress error when trying to contact them to remove me from their mailing list...
Amazing service!! They installed our HVAC system about 3 years ago and it's been running perfectly. However, last night our AC stopped working. Called Service Wizard this morning at 8:30am they had a tech on site at 10:15am. Replaced a bad transformer that was under warranty and we are back in the cool AC again. Highly recommend!
Emilio was able to come out on a Saturday. He helped restore the ac unit, he was honest, and didn’t try to sell me a brand new unit. Second time using their service and it’s always been able to resolve my issues.
Service Wizards is my go to AC maintenance company. They recently did a great job replacing my AC system and at a very competitive price. Their staff is also knowledgeable and super friendly!
Technician was on time, in fact I received a phone call & text message with photo and information on the technician. He was professional, he respected my home and shared information as needed. My husband and I were very pleased with the work that was done. We intend on using the company and service technician in the future.
I had attempted repair of my AC unit and could only get part way on my own. Service Wizard was able to get someone out to me within 1/2 business day and I couldn't be happier with the service. The tech talked with me through the symptoms and the steps I had taken already, and then found the secondary problem and fixed it within about 15 minutes. The pricing was fair, and he educated me on next steps/things to look out for if a problem re-surfaces. Would recommend.
We recently had trouble with our less than 5 year old AC unit and one service person couldn't identify the problem but the serviceman from Service Wizard, Emilio Morales, identified more than one issue and was able to repair the unit that I was ready to replace even though it was a newer one. Emilio was not only extremely knowledgeable but he was very kind and considerate. He is a very valuable asset to Service Wizard! Thank you again, Emilio! I only want you to service our HVAC if we have issues in the future!

They did a great job. Made appt online, got a call back, tech showed up the next day and was very helpful and friendly. I will use them again.
Individual who came out was very nice yet professional, and completed maintenance work very quickly/ efficiently. Was helpful with all questions I had a well regarding things to look out for in the future with the a/c, etc... Will be going to these guys in the future.
David arrived soon after I called for service and quickly found the problem with the AC unit. He explained the problem to me and provided what it would cost to repair. He had the needed part with him and after my approval he quickly repaired the unit. He was courteous and professional. I received excellent service at a fair price.
Emilio did a great job! He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and arrived on time. He explained exactly what the service I booked entailed, and was in and out within an hour. I will absolutely call Service Wizard again for any maintenance or repair!

Service Wizard replaced a coil for a second time. The techs were prompt and efficient. The proof will be in the pudding if this replacement coil will correct the problem of spewing out fine white particles.
