Great service, diagnosed and repaired within 24 hrs after working with another company that had 3 service calls over 8 days and could not fix our AC.
All employees were personable and honestly did their best to make us happy. I highly recommend them.
I have worked with McCullough for a number of years. Always great technicians, professional, courteous, and respectful of property. Technicians are extremely component and are customer focused. Says a lot about the leader of the organization.
I came home from being gone for a few days and it was 88 degrees inside my house in July. I immediately called McCullough and technician EJ Pittaway was at my place almost within an hour. My AC was fixed and running properly in no time and the cost was moderate. I had anticipated at least 24 hours of misery but McCullough fixed my problem within 2 hours of my return home, and EJ explained everything to me and showed me the gauges and diagnostic tools he used. They are my heroes.
I have always been happy with McCullough. I think their prices are reasonable , they explain what they’re doing, and they fix what is wrong.
Have been a customer of McCullough since 2016 and man, do they deliver on quality components and outstanding service. A Mini-split system that we had installed back in 2018 had begun making a waterfall in our dining room because the condensate drain wasn’t working properly. I contacted McCullough and within a couple of days they had a real professional, named Matt, who showed up, ready to tackle the job. After a few short tests, Matt was able to deduce exactly what the problem was and begin effecting repairs immediately. I was very impressed by his dedication to the job and his willingness to tackle the obstacles that come along with mini splits. The space to work in is incredibly small and there’s a lot packed in to a very tiny area. So my hat is off to Matt. He got the issue resolved by locating a leaking drain tube which was pouring all of the condensation back into the pan. Thus overflowing the pan like Niagara Falls. 🤣 In the end, the price point was just incredibly good and the repairs were effective and timely. My family will always use McCullough’s service. And my hat is off to them.

Our AC died on a very hot summer night and McCulloch was the only company who had availability for the following day. James did a very professional job and took his time explaining things even after working in the scorching heat. Saved our weekend!

I contacted 3 a/c companies when my unit stopped cooling in 100 degree temps. One told me to wait and see if it cooled off by morning, one said they could have someone out in 5 days, and McCullough was here the next day (problem happened early evening). James got here sooner than the expected arrival time and had my unit up and running in no time. He was professional and helpful. McCullough is now my go to a/c company!
i called McCullough for a second opinion as the first company I called was very expensive. Wish I'd have called McCullough first! Great service, Geoffrey Anderson was so friendly and knowledgeable and the price was fantastic, thanks to McCullough and Jeff especially, y'all rock!
I chose this team after a few quotes. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive. Aaron and Vinny came out exactly on time and got to work. Cleaned up after themselves and Jimmy came out a few days later for a QC check. Normally when I pay for home improvement or vehicle maintenance I feel 100% ripped off but with this team, not only do I feel I hit a great deal, their customer service was more than I would ever expect From a HVAC company. Earned my business for life Quick update, Jeff came out and blew out the drain pipe. Great attitude and extremely punctual!!
Update: Downgrading to two stars because I had another company come out for a second opinion and there was nothing wrong with the capacitor. The readings were well within +/- 6% of the target numbers. I watched the whole thing. The refrigerant pressure wasn't too low either. It really seems that McCullough either made a mistake or tried to sell me unnecessary repairs. I paid for a "tune-up" but it seems that is was more of an extensive diagnostic than actually tuning much up. They did clean the coils, but not the condensate line. They said my capacitor needs to be replaced, but did not write down the exact reading, so I never got those details. Then they recommended replacing the whole unit instead of the capacitor. Granted, it's an older R22 unit that's slightly low on refrigerant, but the other company I called thought it was ridiculous to pay 10k for a replacement instead of $350 for a repair that could potentially get it through the summer. The quotes for capacitor replacement was higher than other companies and the "tune-up" fee would not even be applied to the repair. Overall, I did not feel like this company offered a good value.
Matt showed up and went right to work and quickly found the problem with the AC. He then checked out the entire system and prescribed maintenance on certain components typical for system that's 14 years old. Personable and detailed in explanation of work performed and maintenance suggested.
Almost a year later, 105° outside and air-conditioning has not had one single issue. It will cool our home to any degree that we choose. What a great product and company. This is a one week after installation follow up review. The company sent out a representative to inspect the work that was done. Jimmy, was a consummate, pro, extremely experienced, had great people skills and patience. He inspected every aspect of the work that had been done and spent a lot of time explaining how the unit worked, and in great detail how the thermostat functioned. He went above and beyond to provide good customer service, and we greatly appreciate that. An excellent experience. How often does one make a large purchase, given a reasonable price, have a terrific installation experience, everything being on time, and with a good attitude. I can’t recommend this company highly enough beginning with Herman who made it all happen. He went through every step of the process ahead of time, explaining the cost, and exactly what would happen and believe it or not that is just what took place. He was informative, honest and easy to deal with. In addition, the crew that came out to do the work which was led by Ian were equally as accommodating, nice and efficient. They were all pros from start to finish. I have had a tremendous amount of work done on homes, automobiles, etc. in my lifetime, and could only have dreamed of them going as smoothly as this project has.
I can’t say enough great things about this locally owned company! In the texas summers to be less that 24 hrs response time is amazing! Desmond was amazing and polite and quick! Will use again!!
This company and it’s people are amazing. Accessible, friendly, professional, efficient, HONEST, and knowledgeable - i can’t say enough. They recently helped repair my AC during the June heat wave and after a nightmare experience over a seven-day period with another company they came in and figured out the problem and fixed it in a little over an hour. And they were cheaper!!! I wish they did plumbing and landscaping and electrical repairs!!!! Grateful to this team.
I could not have been more pleased with the knowledge and professionalism, and courtesy of my technicians. I was VERY impressed with the quick diagnosis. I had to wait for a part to complete the repair and I was equally impressed by the actual installation of the new evaporator coil. I would highly recommend this business.
Both Vinny and Desmond had opportunity to service our air conditioning unit this week. Both were very friendly, very professional, followed up as promised, and saved us $300.
