They show up with two people. One tech and one salesman, ready to sell you an entirely new unit. The tech was nice, but they are clearly pushed to upsell. At first they recommended one part, then after talking a little more they are already trying to sell you a full $25k system. Slightly annoying they didn’t put the door back in the AC right and lost screws. It rattles now until I can get to Home Depot for replacement ones. Don’t trust these guys, plain and simple.
My AC died at 4pm on Thursday. I called Fox or formerly Precision Heat and Air. They scheduled a person to come out Friday morning between 6am and 11am. When nobody showed at 1130am I called back, and they said that they had scheduled it for the previous day at 6pm and 11pm. Nobody showed or even called me at that time, so that was extremely confusing. They said they will again try to send someone between 6pm and 11pm Friday. I finally get a call around 6:10pm from a gentlemen from Fox who asked me if I wanted a quote on a new AC system. Wow. I'm dumbfounded. I said no. No thank you. I called another service company who came out within an hour. Fox does finally show up at my house after I was already frustrated and gave up with them. I told the Fox rep I'm good and its already being repaired but thank you. I dont have any issue with the service tech who showed at my house. However whoever triaged my phone call Thursday and today really messed up badly. I'm really confused. Then to really punch me in the gut I get emailed an invoice for $49 dollars for less than nothing service. I just don't understand.
I purchased a new high end HVAC system in 2019 from Fox and for the years following all plumbing and electrical work. Moving to a new home in Austin, the AC went out and fox promptly sent 2 AC techs to my home. Their advice was replacing the AC or spend 1300 to put in dye for finding a leak which explained the 4-5 pounds of missing refrigerant my AC had, after I paid 199 to join the "comfort club" to blow out the AC drain line. The next day the AC went out again and I was resigned to replace it. Fox did not call me to schedule the 1300 diagnostic, but I called them to send out a "comfort advisor" who did not show up that evening. It was fortunate fox was incompetent in scheduling. I had resigned myself to replacing the AC and purchased a room unit anticipating a wait for the installation. Fortunately, I had another AC company come out who replaced a capacitor on my 5-year-old AC unit and said it has many years left. I got a scam level diagnosis from the techs sent out to my house. I will count on this company to honor the 10-year warranty I purchased on an AC unit, otherwise I will never use them again. I wrote them about this matter, and they didn't respond. Avoid this company at all costs
A fantastic, friendly, and professional experience! I called to make an appointment for a plumber to cap our gas line. The call staff was friendly and got me an appointment within a week of my call. Shawn Dunlap came out to service my issue. He was friendly and professional, letting me know any potential complications that could arise and the likelihood of them happening. He completed the work within the hour, showing me photos of the work he had done and the details of the job. I'll absolutely use Fox Service Company again.
Seth and Ismael did a great job checking out my HVAC system. They were professional, personable, and efficient. I appreciated the recommendations made and that they were able to explain why the recommendations were made and how they can prolong the life of my system.
Darren was a consummate professional, resolved our issue quickly and explained the process in understandable terms. Came out in less than an hour. Would definitely recommend.
I felt extremely comfortable and confident with these 2 particular technicians sent to my home. Thankfully, I was able to get them both times in 1 week.
Clayton did an excellent job diagnosing and fixing a frustrating issue we were having with a string of LED lights in our bedroom. He was professional, on time, and conscious of the time he spent on the job. Thanks

Last month our HVAC service call included high pressure sales team. like buying a car...terrible, so we asked our neighbor which firm he used and he recommended Fox. We're glad...
The team showed up on time and re-diagnosed the problems to make sure they understood the issues before just replacing the compressor. They did an excellent job
John went in and checked the problem with the AC unit. He was so thorough and professional. He provided all possible options over the phone and made recommendations to change the unit that wasn’t functioning well. He also helped arrange for financing the same day. Installation was done the very next day. Hunter came in to the install on time. His team was also very professional and completed the service on time. The work was fantastic. Would recommend them to anyone!
Wayland is great. He came out as a follow up about our refrigerant leak, and kept me updated on what the process was looking like. Always professional, always transparent about the process and prices. This is why we only use FOX Services!

Brandon Colburn showed up for a late night emergency call, and was amazing. He was fast and efficient, and gave us serveral options on service for our AC. He was in and out in under 2 hours and our AC is running great.
Called to schedule a service call, they provided a date and time as to when they would be able to come do a service call on a mini split, the day of the appointment a representative called and said they are canceling because they did not install the unit....this is no different than a standard ac that was installed years ago by another company. She said a service tech made the call to cancel and they won't put you in touch with the person that made the decision. What a joke to not service something that was not installed by them, definitely not a reputable company
We recently had our HVAC completely replaced, the old system was previously installed by Fox 27 years ago. Fox had been inspecting and maintaining the system during that entire time. Everyone at Fox and Precision has been professional, helpful in explaining the process. Jose C was excellent, very careful and knowledgeable about the heating and cooling system and his fellow installer Jose S was very good as well. They took great care each step of the process.
Ernesto and Javi (sp?)did a great job installing a new A/C. They were very professional, efficient and answered all my questions. They did a great cleanup!
We just had Glass and George come out to fix a cooling issue on our system. They checked everything thoroughly and walked us through every issue. They then fixed everything and left the place spotless. The job was quick and our house is already at 72 degrees. Our house has never been this cool at 5pm on a 100 degree day here in Austin Texas. We will be calling and requesting Glass and George every time we need maintenance on our system from here on out.
Jeremy Treder thoroughly inspected my decades-old ice-making water lines that had never been used. I have always had excellent service from Jeremy and always request him as our plumber. He is experienced, diligent, professional, friendly, and honest.
