Came and checked the system. Saw that the Freon is low. Topped it up without checking for the leak and fixing the issue. Said that the sealant would fix the leak. Charged me for the top up. This summer the same problem has occurred again since the leak was never fixed. Money down the drain. I tried to call him. Kept dodging me saying he is busy. He was recommended by a neighbour unfortunately.
I had Ed out for a A/C repair yesterday.Same day service and awesome workmanship.I finally have a A/C guy I am 100% confident with.
Honest, reliable family owned business. Highly recommend Louie and Eddie to fix or replace your HVAC system. They kept our unit going for several years past normal expectation. Replacement has saved us money on energy!
I've been a customer of Ed's Air Conditioning Service for almost 10 years, and have recommended them to several friends - all satisfied customers. They're extremely competent, and fair, providing an excellent value to their customers. They're business model is to provide great service and fix your problems, not sell you a new unit instead of repairing the one you have.
I have had wonderful service both of them. They are very honest- they will not push to replace parts or unit if they can fix it cheaper. I have known and used them for 40 years and would call someone else. They are just hard working Christian men, not trying to expand their business but just to service as many homes as the two of them can handle.
I wonder what has been going on with some of the latest but low reviews, because this independent, local HVAC service company has been around for 60 years, and have altogether have gotten top notch reviews in the past. In fact, my family has been dealing with Ed & Sons HVAC for the last 40+ years, and have always been satisfied with the service provided by Edgar (and especially) Louie. Ed & Sons might as well be considered some of the air conditioning "superheroes" of Central Texas (I'm sure there are some other local companies that are just as good), but Ed & Sons is an HVAC service provider that I highly recommend all the way!
I’ve been a customer of Ed’s Air Conditioner for over 6 years. They serviced my mostly functional 30 year old unit and eventually put in a new system at my request. I have recommended them to close friends and family who have continued to use Ed’s Air and I get continual feedback from my friends (5 friends with 10 houses) and family (3 homes) on how truly happy they are with Eddie and Louies knowledge, honesty and work. They can pretty much fix anything and I have several stories where they came in as a second estimate to replace a unit (the owner was convinced he needed to by another company) and they decided with the owner to fix the old one for less than $200. I have never heard anything other than praise. Not one complaint and everyone always felt they got a good deal. I have lots of stories both personal and second hand. These guys are awesome.
Great guys, they have kept my air conditioner and heating system going with minimal costs. They always provide multiple choices, new or refurbished. Have done an amazing job with my rental property as well. Quick response time with great attitudes. Highly recommend.
My two AC units are over 16 years old, and they have never been part of a "matched" HVAC system since we moved into the house over 20 years ago. Given the recent streak of 100 degree-plus days, my AC units were on the verge of dying. I sought bids from three local HVAC outfits, some large, some small. The quoted price ranges for installing two full systems in my home was quite a range. Then, we had an acquaintance mention Ed & Sons - said she and her husband had used them and been very impressed. Even said that when they recently needed a new AC system, her husband didn't even bother to get quotes from anyone other the Ed & Sons. I thought this was simply a "story" - however, I called Ed & Sons and left a message. Louie returned my call that evening, and made an appointment to visit me the next morning. Louie and Eddie took their time installing my two units, and I could not be happier. They take the time to give the homeowner tips on what can be done to improve and maintain the system, and certainly are very friendly and professional. I never felt like they tried to oversell me on their products and services. I will definitely use Ed & Sons if necessary in the future. Highly recommended!
