Omar and his team of HVAC professionals at ABC Austin Service Express are the guys to call if you have any problems with your A/C or heating. We recently bought a house and had problems with a decrepitly old A/C unit and Omar showed up checked everything out and walked me through his process with layman analogies that anyone can understand (and I mean anyone, I know next to nothing about HVAC). Once we agreed on the best path forward for our budget, he and his team were here the very next day and we had a new system installed and working before the day was out. Much appreciated on a blistering June heatwave! We cannot express our gratitude enough for their expertise and fast installation. If we could rate 10 stars we would. The gentlemen that came out to help my family and I were phenomenal! They were very kind, highly professional and did everything quickly! I'll definitely recommend this service to people should they have any sort of AC or heating issues
6/19.2023- Their follow up is horrible. I called them last year to service my ac and no one ever called me back. I ended up having some one else service it and it was not a major problem. This year I called twice before I got someone. Jessica was very apologetic and explained that times were hard last year. I did get someone out to service the AC but now I am hit with a service call fee which should have been free since I never got one. On top of that now it cost almost $500 dollars to fix the AC. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Customers be ware.
They will have my business for as long as I live in Austin. Bought a new house, had a young baby, and then our furnace broke on the coldest day of the year and then our HVAC broke on the hottest day 8 months later. They were able to get us out of a pickle same day in both situation. They are honest, transparent, and fair with their pricing. Absolutely recommend.
Jessica responded to our concern immediately and then set up an appointment for Luis came out to the home first thing in the morning to service the a/c unit! He was very detailed, very patient, and professional. He aswered all my questions and assured me that the system would be well maintained. Big relief as we have young kids. Omar is totally worth every penny. I had a company come out and service my air-conditioning system because Omar was out of town and I decided to wait for him. The other AC company said I need a brand new complete system and want to charge me $22,000, so I decided to wait for Omar. Omar showed up around three days later And said that I only needed the indoor unit not both indoor and outdoor. He save me around $15,000 . I have been using Omar for around four years and I will continue to use them and his company. I highly recommend if you need a second opinion, or an honest opinion, he is a person to contact , just ask for Omar

My grandmother had her eyes on another company which I’m mad about cause the lady who answered my calls and even returned my call, I believe her name was Jessica, she did an awesome job with explaining everything to me and her attitude and energy was immaculate

1. At that time, affordable compared to other companies, however I think their prices went up. 2. Fixed the problem 3. Honest, nice and reliable 4. Their company offers a 1 year warranty ( for the service they provided for us) These guys came out the same day our AC broke, in the extreme heat and worked super hard until the job was done and the sun went down. They do not have any hidden fees or surprise costs . I will reuse them and recommend them. They did a good job!
I had two AC/Heat units replaced. December 2021. It was over 18,000 dollars which I understand that is the going rate. For months I have been worried about one unit making a lot of noise. There is a weird smell coming from the vents. I reached out to Omar many times. He would send a guy out and supposedly nothing wrong. Always excuses. Finally American standard distributors were nice enough to come out. Not only did I have a bad compressor that Omar finally admitted to. I had torn ducts from a rodent problem from over 5 years ago. When they replaced the unit they did not inspect the ducts. Abc has been in the crawl space numerous times. I even had a check up a couple of weeks ago. No mention of torn ducts. My family has been breathing bad air for a year. I trust American Standard. They have treated me right. But, Omar with ABC is not trustworthy. He would not even get back to me after American Standard team figured out the problem. There is even more to the story. But hopefully this shows enough red flags that save someone the same headache. Be careful of 5 star reviews meant for ABC home and commercial. I have seen reviews meant for the primal good service ABC.
I did not use this company this time, but I really want to thank the lady in office who was super helpful, she helped me out with a couple of numbers that could help with my mini-split will be calling again for my mom's house!
I called for a quote on a leaking ac and was happy with the quick response, and customer service. Very polite and efficient. I will recommend to family and friends.
This guy is really good. The other company wanted To replace the air conditioning system and charge me like $16,000, and Omar and his team came by and said that I did not need to replace it and I paid about $1400 and he gave me a two year warranty. I needed to have my walk-in refrigeration installed for my restaurant and Omar saved the day. He and his team are so knowledgeable. You can tell they’ve done this type of job many times. They went way beyond the duties of the job. I’m so happy I went with this company. It was a difficult job and they really came through for me! Thanks so much! I will definitely be using them again for all my refrigeration services!

Our AC cut out at the height of summer, on a day when family was coming into town for a party at our house. We called tons of places but no one could send a technician in time. ABC not only walked us through a repair we could do ourselves, they offered to get someone out that night. Blown away by how good the customer service was, wish I could give 6 stars!!
