Alex went above and beyond to fix our lights! It started with one light switch and as we spoke I realized there were more that had the same problem which he graciously looked at and repaired. He also looked at our refrigerator light which has been flickering and looked up information about repairs for me which was so kind. Now we have new light switches that stay on properly and will look into appliance repair for the refrigerator light. Thank you so much to Alex for his great help!!

AC was down on a Sunday night at 9pm. Called Abacus and somebody actually answered the phone! They had a service tech out first thing the next morning who had our system up and running in less then an hour. They didn’t try to upsell me and were straightforward with thier assessment and estimate. The service tech was polite and very professional. I will be using Abacus for all my future homeowner emergencies!

This week, a lady named Kathryn came to our house to check our A/C. She told my husband they were the most expensive company, but the reason why people pay that extra money is because of the great service and warranty they offer.... well... they didn’t have the dignity to even send the estimate for A/C replacement... Not only that, when my husband was checking the A/C after she left he noticed she left screws on the floor without putting them back where they were....There's not much to say... we'll definitely find a more reliable company....

Just used abacus for a very minor plumbing repair that I thought was going to be more extensive. I had a leaking hose bib and had it on my to do list for way too long. I had been meaning to DIY, but it kept getting blown off so I finally caved and called the pros. The scheduling was very easy and everyone I spoke to was super nice. The plumber who visited was very friendly and cordial. I have no complaints with the staff or the service. The reason for the 3 stars is the price. They charged $250.00 to replace one hose bib. If I had only known just how simple it was, I definitely would have done it myself. It literally took the plumber less than 5 minutes to shut off the water, and replace the hose bib. 5 minutes of work, a $15 part, and max 20 minutes of travel time cost $250.00. It took the plumber longer to collect payment on his Ipad than it took him to perform the repair. I made a huge mistake accepting the estimate, and that's on me, but its still crazy that they charge this for such a simple repair. If they charge this for a 5 minute repair, what do they charge for something that takes hours? If you need to replace your hose bibs, just YouTube it and figure it out, it's not worth the mental anguish of losing $250 just to avoid doing 15 minutes of work. Learn from my mistake, make my $250 that went down the drain worth it.
