I typed a 1 because a zero was not available. I typically don’t place reviews but something needs to be said about this company. Last year I called them to look at the water heater in my rental property and they charged $2600 to install a new one which is about 4x any competitor. Just yesterday my tenants said there was no hot water so I called Gene Love out to take a look. They quoted me $10k+ to upgrade the electrical panel and install a new meter box. I called another electrician for the same amount of work plus adding smoke detectors for $2486. This also included fixing the incorrect wiring that Gene Love connected the water heater and they didn’t use grommets at the top of the water heater. Needless to say I’ll never use this company again and I don’t even know how they manage to stay in business. Do your homework folks.

Buyer beware! They will try to sell you services you don't need or didn't request. Extremely overpriced. Want great service at reasonable prices? Call Aero Plumbing services or Cook plumbing. Great work, customer service and reasonably priced.
Called two days ago to get my 88 year old grand mother's pilot re-lit and they're saying they're not going to make it today either. It's a 5 minute job... If you need actual service, call anyone else. It's been in the 30's the last two nights. Who does that?
While I had some initial difficulties with scheduling, when I expressed my concerns Gene Love responded. John Vermillion, the service manager, went out of his way to call me twice. He addressed my frustrations, listened to me and then made sure that I would receive solid service in a timely fashion. Thank you very much John. I also recommend Donny, one of their electrical technicians. He was very professional and seems to care a great deal about customer service.
Wouldn't even give us a quote for new ac without charging.
We paid over $900 to have a new sink installed. In the process the tech cracked our counter top. We’ve had no updates on how Love plans to fix this mistake. Even after calling and leaving a message 3 times. I understand mistakes happen but the customer service is horrible. With our last call the receptionist is the one who delivers the news they don’t plan to do anything to fix the counter. I do not recommend
You too? They and Meetze were recommended stating their long lasting reputation. Well, until recently. A female did show up, spent 20 min to leave 2 phone numbers for companies to come and detect the leak?! Huh, I thought that's what we called Gene Love for! I guess we should have called Meetz. Is this the new 2020 way they're doing things? One thing about plumbing it's a profession that still requires humans.
This used to be a great company, and we were loyal customers for many years, until today. Scheduled a plumber to arrive after 3 pm today. It's now almost 6 pm and he is no call no show. Can't get anyone on the phone. This is not the first time this has happened, but it is definitely the last. What happened to the old, reliable Gene Love service?
