These guy are amazing! Do not waste your time with companies like Waldrop unless you want to pay $630 for a$100 thermostat. Energy Shark went above and beyond for about $15,000 less. Overall excellent experience and great guys. Thank you Philip, Danny, and their crew.
Best price around for sure and a decent unit. However, they cut a new vent in one of our bedrooms and now the door won’t close in that room. This is highly annoying. They originally said the vent would go in our hall which was fine. They should have known that vent would cause the door to not close. Also, the dudes that came to do the work left all kinds of trash in our attic. When I told them about this problem they suggested cutting out some of the door on the bottom. Thanks for messing up this bedroom.
Five years ago they did a full install. We noticed not long later one of our units struggled when it was VERY cold… we tried calling to get our unit serviced and 2 times they either cancelled or no showed. They never responded to the multiple phone messages I’ve left. Honestly time went by, we had a major septic flood and that directed our attention to more emergent issues. Now that those are resolved I reached out to Energy Shark AGAIN in hopes I’d get my unit service. Again I am left with no response. Another company was recommended to us… they came out next day. And told us we’re very blessed our house hasn’t burned down. His words “whoever installed this unit left so many code violations and this needs to be corrected immediately” exp
Horrible, horrible, horrible service! They were great when we originally bought our new unit in 2021. But now that the unit has stopped working, they refuse to even come see what the problem is. They have repeatedly ignored our calls and requests for someone to come and look at it. Multiple times now they have said they were coming to look at it at a specific day and then never show up or communicate until we reach out. It’s winter time and we have no working heat with 2 small children on a year old unit under warranty. Seems like they just keep putting us off because it’s warranty work and they won’t make a buck! Edited to add: Once again we were told a tech was coming today and went all day without hearing anything. I just now had to call 5 times before I got an answer. I spoke to Tonya who was immediately hostile and rude. I asked for an ETA and she interrupted me and said "a tech is on the way". I asked for clarification because according to their website they close at 5pm. She said "they're still out running and your husband said he was busy until after 3". My husband said he was unavailable from 1:30-3pm (a 1.5hr period during almost 2 weeks is pretty reasonable to me) and AGAIN we have rearranged our schedule and made time for them for two weeks now and they want to make it seem like we're the problem? Tonya repeatedly interrupted me and talked over me to the point I had to raise my voice and ask her to please stop talking over me. I told her this was unprofessional on her part and her response was "What's unprofessional is YOU LEAVING A BAD REVIEW". I'm not the company, so my "professionalism" is irrelevant. I'm a consumer and leaving an honest review about frustration of our experience is more than valid in this situation. She goes on to explain that the tech we've been communicating with has been out with pneumonia and is now back. Which is 100% understandable, but why is this not being communicated with us? Is there only 1 tech in the whole company? She
Bought new HV/AC units and very not pleased with how they are handling it to get properly adjusted. Have talked to the Co-owners and it appears that they are only interested in getting your money and have you fix the unit by just turning off the main breaker then back on instead of having someone come out to fix the problem . After the 2nd time of calling them, they did send out Mr. Zack and he get it fix for a short time. Now the unit is blowing more cool air while thermostat is set at 72 degrees. Have to crack up the thermostat to 75 before we get any warm air flowing out of vents. Would really like them to come and fix the whole problem instead of just me continuing to write negative comments.
We had to replace one of our two units and thought we would have to replace both. Phil looked everything over and told us we only had to replace one but to fix all returns to be larger. he could have sold us another unit but was honest. the work was done in a few hours and we couldn't be happier. good pricing and honest. we will call this company in the future for any hvac work for sure.
Very pleased.the installation was a bit more involved than expected. But,work was performed with no increase in price.that's 150 yrs ago honesty when a person 's word meant something. Impressive!! Thanks phil danny and your cree.🙂
Energy Sharks did an excellent job installing a York gas pack and modifying the vent and duct work to increase efficiency. The crew were professional and efficient. Great job, great price. Would recommend them to anyone.

If you need hvac work done, Energy Sharks is the company to call. It starts with the owner Phil, he believes in his service and stands buy his employees. Phil does not use high pressure tack-tic’s , he gives you options and the price was great. The crew was on time, very soft spoken men and very respectful. I needed complete have work done and they got it done and made sure to clean up behind themselves. I was not uncomfortable having these men in my home. Thank you, Phil, Danny and the other GENTLEMAN (which is what they all are) for a great experience, great and timely work and best of all the best sleep I have had in quite some time. I will certainly let everyone know how great this company is. Hats off to you all.
Great company to work with. We bought and had a new AC system installed. The install team was on-site on time and finished the entire job in just a few hours. They did a great job with making sure some of the old parts that weren't properly installed years ago by another company were done right. We have had wonderful cold air coming through especially with the return upstairs being expanded to match the ac unit. Wonderful company and great pricing 👍.
Amazing people!! They were early, and completed a whole HVAC swap in an hour and a half. Super great people to work with and they won’t overcharge you like most. AMAZING PRICES!! I will always have them fix my AC when I need them.
Had a really good experience with Energy Sharks. They removed my old Furnace and Air Conditioner, placed the new high efficiency gas furnace in a more accessible location, rerouted the Duct Work, installed a WiFi TStat and high efficiency Heat Pump. Everything went well, communication was exceptional and concerns were addressed quickly and effectively. I highly recommend Energy Sharks.
When it came time to replace my 23 year old HVAC system, I contacted Energy Sharks and Phil stopped by the next day to check out my system and provide a quote. He also explained the modifications that were needed to increase the air flow in the return lines to provide better system performance. Zach and Wayne did a first class job installing all of the the new equipment for the 3 ton HMH7 system, along with the increased diameter return lines in the attic, and they made sure everything worked properly before they left.
Very responsible company, came on time, did a great job, and left no mess. I’m a retired contractor from another state. Danny and Zack were easy to work with on my own home. They showed up when they said they would and explained evert step of the install. Asking if the location for the equipment was good. After which Danny ran through the operational aspects, showing us how it works. Being a contractor, you couldn’t ask for any better employees to represent your company. They did a terrific job. The guys who came out to install our new HVAC were efficient and courteous! They made sure to do all they could to keep the spaces they had to move through clean and when there was a little of bit of a mess that couldn’t be helped, they cleaned it right up. We now have working air conditioning again and the peace of mind that our unit will be leak free. By far the best price in the area and the warranty can’t be beat! Had entire AC unit done from out of state. Phil is very knowledgeable And a pleasure to work with.The system seems to be working perfectly as all rooms are nice and cold. I would recommend energy shark for any/ all of your AC needs.
