I had Chris Gibbs and his crew came out to fix many plumbing issues with under my house in crawl space all new plumbing and then inside ended up fixing all two bathroom sinks, kitchen sink, and tub, waterheater, and washer box. Ended up fixing broken sewer line outside along with broken water spicket
I have never had any bad service from any technician from Preferred, but I have to say Scott went above and beyond today. I have some severe medical issues and he came on a Sunday morning to fix my AC. He missed church to do this and I cannot thank him enough! He knew exactly what was wrong and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. I will most definitely be calling Preferred again and requesting Scott!
Just finished having my home heating and air conditioning system replaced. Sales guys were great. Techs were great. Enjoyed interacting with Lupe and Ben. Originally it was to be 1 day job but couldn't happen so they arranged for some window units that helped endure the weekend. They also sent out a separate tech to look at and repair the basement unit. Great job guys. Looking forward to good followup servicing.
We initially contacted PREFERRED HOME SERVICES after a neighbor that had their ductwork cleaned (homes are only 1 to 2 years old) and reccomended them. After we explained our problems they did a complete inspection and reccomended replacing all of the ductwork with hard pipe (original was flexible and held together with tape, the input and output boxes were (I believe fibre glass) and secured with tape that was separating and sitting on cinder blocks for support, all feed l Iines to the various rooms needed to be shortened and rerouted -- it was a total mess and would only last for approximately 5 more years and the home would never heat or call to our satisfaction. They gave us a quote and warned us that it wouldn't be a inexpensive fix and it wasn't. We agreed to have the entire ductwork system replaced and Cody arrived with his crew and all of the work was started on time and completed to our satisfaction on time. Thanks again Cody for being patient with us and explaining step by step all of the work. In closing Cody advised that in a week or two he would be available if the entire system wasn't balanced to our satisfaction. In our opinion it wasn't and PREFERRED sent E J BRADSHAW (there Technician with years of experience in the field) to our home to evaluate the problem -- it turned out that by running the ceiling fans in every room (we have been doing this for years) we were disturbing the balance of the system and would never balance properly, turned off all of the fans and now the system appears to be normal and I now refer to our home as the Ice Box !!! FINALLY,a quality oriented service for your AC/Heating needs, over the past couple years we have been nursing our 30 plus year old heat pump/ AC heating unit, however the prices we were being quoted was expensive to say the least, The one company that says “Call today and feel the D@@@@ difference” was so right, we feel the difference with a lot more money in our pockets after having the professionals at Preferred Services install our new complete unit including duct work, Clearly the Pros at Preferred Services have the excellent quality customer service and very competitive prices for others to emulate, with affordability being paramount these days Preferred Services delivered!!!
I had Alan come to check on a dishwasher that wouldn't drain. The company was quick to answer the phone when I called and I was told someone could be out this afternoon. It's 12pm and they've already come and gone. As a woman, whose husband was at work, it gave me a big sense of relief that the company sent me a picture and name of who I should expect at my house. When Alan showed up he was very kind, very professional, and I felt very at ease. I was worried my dogs would bother him but he loved on them long enough to make them comfortable with him and then got the job done quickly and efficiently. He was fair with his pricing and I feel I can trust the work that he did. I would gladly hire this company and Alan again.
Preferred Home Services did an excellent job repairing two running toilets and a leaky kitchen sink. The receptionist who answered the initial call was friendly & efficient. The plumber who did the work was prompt and highly professional and very pleasant. The cost to do the work was pricey, but I would use the company again b/c of the professionalism and reliability of its staff and licensed plumbers. And, based on my experience, I would recommend Preferred Home Services.
I had a complete HVAC system replaced yesterday. Starting with my initial contact with Will to the eventual install with Nick and his partner, Josh, the service was nothing short of “Excellent”. These guys arrived on time and went to work and got the job done promptly, efficiently and professionally! Really amazing work with NO surprises! Beyond happy with their work! Nick and his coworker (I’m sorry I forgot your name 😩) were on time and very professional. I did not know that they were at the house for the most part. I received everything I wanted that another company was trying to sale me for $3K more plus I got a lifetime of preventative maintenance for my unit! I’m hoping that I don’t have to use the comp again but if I need to I definitely will. Thank you for taking care of my 5 plus years of uncomfortableness! Highly recommend Preferred Home Services!!
They were promptly able to schedule our service call with Tyler who took great care to diagnose our issues. Once we decided on replacement, Mike clearly and thoroughly walked us through our choices and plan of action. Ben and Shy were excellent technicians who handled the job with professionalism and cleanliness. I will chose Preferred for my future service needs and recommend them to my friends and family.
This is my third time using Preferred Home Services and each time I have been totally satisfied with their work. Logan was the tech that came out this time to fix my shower. He was terrific. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Chris Gibbs is amazingly professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He solved my plumbing issue effectively and gave good solid advice about plumbing. I would recommend him and Preferred Home Services to anyone looking for a solid Plummer. I can not express how much I appreciate everything Chris did. Call him for all your plumbing needs, you will not regret it ! I would give him a 20 star review if it was possible.

My husband and I didn't have heating and air for 4 months because of insurance company we are under. We called Preferred and they came the same day and installed the next day. They did awesome job. Mike, Juan, Jeremy, from Greenville. I believe if not spelled right sorry. They are the best!!!!!!
I mistakenly left a 5-star review for this company, thinking it was a different company that I eventually used. I called this company based on their many good reviews. I was quoted approximately $2,500 to repair my not-working second unit (basically rebuild/rewire everything), and told my I'd be much better off replacing everything to the tune or $18K for one unit or $37K for both, which may be okay for some folks, but not for this recent retiree. I called another company and in less than an hour and for $205 the unit was inspected, deemed safe, and up and running. I know who not to call next time. I believe these must be trained salespeople first, technicians/help people somewhere down the line.
