Very professional and knowledgeable of HVAC Systems. Did an Inspection of what’s needed to repair or replace the old system. I decided to replace our whole system because of cost and age of unit. I compared the price of A/CMedic with five well known companies and they gave the best price of them all. They covered walkways to protect carpet and floors. After removing the old equipment, they cleaned up and then put the new equipment in. They checked to be sure everything was working properly. They cleaned up after the installation of the new system as well. Eric the owner of A/C Medic called a number of times to ensure everything was running perfectly. I highly recommend A/C Medic.

Charged over $500 to put Freon in one unit and to install a new thermostat that I provided. I thought that was high. He did a good job installing the thermostat. He left the caps off the Freon ports on the unit after filling with Freon. He made it clear he does not like Lennox HVAC systems.
4/20/23 Update - this unit is a Boss. Thank you AC Medic. Any questions I’ve had the support team is on it! No problems here. Highly recommend. This is definitely one of the best HVAC installers in the upstate. Eric is very knowledgeable. Any questions I had, he had an educated answer. He is also an experienced technician that puts him a level above most salesmen. We installed the Trane XL15c with the Trane Nexia XL824 WiFi thermostat. We only had to wait a couple days to get the unit installed. The installation was done in 4hrs! Lucky the installers only ran into some slight problems from other older installations but to me that’s really a fast. I Definitely recommend A/C Medic to any one needing a new HVAC.

Eric T. did a great job evaluating the need to condition the air in our finished basement. The mini-split Mitsubishi Trane unit he installed is perfect for heating and cooling the downstairs! It is super quiet and much more efficient than the window unit and heaters previously used. Our electric bill is lower each month than the same month a year prior! The installation was professionally completed, looks good and works great. I definitely recommend the mini-split unit and A/C Medic for HVAC work.
AC Medic cost me thousands of dollars in damage. I chose them because I'd used them before but they had a change of ownership. In 2018, my HVAC unit needed to be replaced. They sold me a unit that was too big for my home. They installed the new unit on the existing pad which was too small so it hung over. They came back and put in a larger pad so there was no overhang. Then the house temperature was not meeting the temperature set on the thermostat. They replaced my Ecobee WIFI enabled thermostat with a thermostat that was less advanced than the one the Ecobee replaced. About 18-24 months later, mold started to grow out of every vent register in the house. Come to find out, there were two openings in the duct work under the house. It seems that when AC Medic installed the HVAC unit they knocked the duct work loose. So apparently, they never looked at the ducts under the house or didn't care. I had to have all of the duct work under the house replaced along with the vent registers. I also had to replace all of the carpeting. It cost approximately $10,000 to fix the damage they caused on top of buying an oversized HVAC unit and an unnecessary basic thermostat.
This company was great to work with. They explain thoroughly what needed to be fix. My air, works great. I definitely reccomend this.
Eric did a lot of work for me. His team replaced all of my old icky ductwork. Put a new heat exchanger in. Serviced my HVAC system. Highly recommended.
I don't typically write reviews, but I heavily relied on other reviews when researching the best companies in my area to replace my HVAC system. A/C Medic was rated very highly and I can now add my five star review as well. Eric and his team did great work, at a very affordable price. They were very knowledgeable about what changes I needed to make to my system to have it perform better and recommended multiple options at different price points. I am extremely happy with my new Trane system and would highly recommend A/C Medic to anyone looking to have HVAC work done.

I have used this ac repair company for several years in 2 different houses! They are awesome and really relate to their customers on a financial level! They offer different options for problems and let the customer choose what is more appropriate for their financial means! They are honest with their customers and show the customer specifically what is the problem with their ac unit. This is something I look for in an ac repair man.
I was a homeowner in Inman for 20 years. AC/Medic was the first contact I made when I needed A/C work. Eric was my service man for the entire 20 years in Inman. He bases his work practices on his Christian principles and life. Honest and dependable. If I were to move back to the Upstate, AC/Medic would be my heating and air service provider.
I have used A/C Medic for 20 years, and have always been impressed with this company. They are competitively priced, but provides service that is above and beyond. Owner Eric worked directly with us to determine what would best suit our home and budget when we needed a completely new HVAC unit and all of our (very old) duct work replaced.
