We had a new furnace and air installed by Len’s, the crew was awesome, they arrived on time, replaced our entire system, cleaned up and went over everything in full detail before leaving. We recommend Len’s to anyone that needs service or replacement of their furnace or air conditioning.

I moved into a new house that did not have AC nor ductwork. I shopped around and Len's was the best value. I got the AC and ductwork installed at the end of January and so far the system is running smoothly. They even came back in May and charged the AC refringent at no cost. HVAC systems are a big investment but I'm happy I choose Lens. Great customer service and great products!

We called because this was the number on my thermostat. A complete scam. They charged me 170 dollars to hit a reset button on my furnace and told me the whole unit needed replaced. If you use them…. Please get a second opinion. Local hvac guy came and fixed for under $20. Would never recommend

Our furnace went out on a Sunday evening. Len’s had come out earlier in the fall to clean the system, so I thought I’d give them a call to come out and fix the furnace. I called on Monday morning at 8 am and they were able to send someone over the same day. We have a weird older furnace and the parts are difficult to come by. I was able to send a video of what our furnace was doing via text message to Len’s. This allowed them to have an idea of what was wrong ahead of time. While the technician (Eric…super nice) checked out the furnace the office called all over NE Ohio looking for the part we needed. They were able to get the part at a fair price and install on the same day in a matter of a few hours. I couldn’t be happier with their service. They are fair and honest, and I would recommend them to anyone. I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to write one for Len’s they are first class when it comes to service you can count on. JB

Eric did a great job. He was courteous and professional and respected our home. He arrived promptly following his call giving us an arrival time. Once he arrived he trouble shooted the problem as apposed to replacing parts. He then accurately diagnosed and repaired damaged wiring in one of the AC units which immediately solved the problem. His approach of diagnose and not just trial of replacement parts was technically sound and very efficient. We appreciate his expertise in finding and fixing the problem in a prompt manner. One of the best service techs we've ever had. Will definitely request Eric again should the need arise.

In May of last year I had Len's install a new AC and a new furnace to the tune of about $7,000. I had a slight issue with the installers at the time, and Len himself called me and apologized. To apologize, Len told me to run the systems through the summer and through the winter. I was to call this spring and they would come out and do a one year check up on both systems for free. I was happy with this resolution and accepted his offer. So I called in early May to set up an appointment. And I called again in mid May to set it up. And I called again in early June. I have called a total of 3 times to set up the appointment, and each time I call, I am promised that they will call me back with an appointment date. I have called a total of three times to set up this appointment, each time I am promised a call back, and each time I have been blown off. Here we are mid June and they have still not called me back with an appointment date. I guess because this appointment was offered for free from Len as an apology for the install issues it's not important to them. They got their $7,000 and that's what is important to them. They will probably respond to this review and say they are extremely busy because of the unseasonable heat we have had. I get that, to a point. But I also reiterated to them I didn't care when the appointment was, I just wanted to get on the schedule. But again, because this is a free service call I get completely ignored.

I bought a house in 2020 that had a four ton Trane XL18i heat pump and four ton Trane TAM7 air handler put in by Lens in 2013. What I found: The TAM7 works best with a bottom return but there is limited height space with the existing ductwork so a side return was used. The installation manual states, if possible, the unit should be put on a six inch box, which it is. However, the actual opening of the box only measures 3 inches. Next, a side return kit (BAYSRKIT100) must be used for a side return application. This kit was not used. Next, it states there must be a minimum of 6 inches of ducting between the unit and the filter. My filter box is is mounted directly to the side of the air handler. My return ductwork is such that, on the ceiling, the duct work runs on both sides of the supply duct. They had the return ducts connected with and 8" round pipe into the side of a 12x18 drop. The return drop by itself is no where near big enough to handle 4 tons of air much less trying to add another 200 CFM to it with the connection pipe. Because of not knowing how to install this unit, I have 1.25" w.c. of static pressure which makes the unit very noisy and not enough return air which, 1) uses more energy 2) wears out the equipment faster, and 3) heats and cools the house poorly. On to the electrical. The back up heat strips require a 60 amp breaker. While there is one on the unit, the breaker in the panel feeding it is a 50 amp and also on #8 wire. There is a 4x4 junction box on the ceiling with the strip heat wire and another #12 wire that was cut AND LEFT HOT WITH NO TAPE OR WIRE NUT. Just left hanging there, hot, in the junction box waiting to shock someone which of course was me.Also, heat pumps require at least two strands of 18/8 control wire and they left a spaghettied up rats nest of wire and wire nuts hanging on the outside of the air handler. On to the load calculation. After actually performing a Manual J I found my house required a three ton unit and blower a

We never dealt with Lens before but were referred by multiple sources as the best place in Cleveland to go to for Home Heating and cooling. About 2 weeks ago Lens sent out their estimator (salesman) for a quote. Doug was on time and did what he said he was going to do. NO PRESSURE ! He did his thing for about an hour (Covid 19 Mask on) and presented me with a good better best quote. Never pushed for the sale and he went on his way. I ready felt comfortable so I called them back to get the order started. Doug came a few days later to take measurements and write the contract. To my Surprise Len showed up with Doug that day. OMG the owner of the company is sitting at my table? He must really care! Order was placed! A few days later I got a call that they were set to install my new HVAC System. Of course that was going to be the coldest (11 Degrees) day of the year. That morning the installers showed up on time (all wearing Covid 18 masks) to start my installation. They covered my floors with drop clothes for protection. He told me what was going to happen and why and said they should be done by 2:30.. At 2:00 they yelled for me Hey Bob we are done. They spent the rest of the time showing me my new system and how to operate it. They cleaned everything up and went on their way. Wow! Business the old fashioned way! It still exists at Lens!
