Annual AC check. Tom is always timely, professional and takes great care of our HVAC system. Would always recommend American Air for any HVAC, plumbing or electrical needs.
American Air has been a dependable company to work with. Joel was our service worker this time and did a great job. It is easy to schedule a convenient time for service. Joel called to let us know he was on the way and he arrived right on time. Joel went right to work and checked out and cleaned our AC unit. He went over what he did and any issues he found. Prices at American Air are fair and the work is done quickly and professionally.

We scheduled a maintenance check for the A/C. Our home is 16 years old. Nothing wrong with the system. When the technician pulled the outside breaker the internal plastic piece broke. Where I wasn't expecting to replace the exterior fuse box at $500 and the call was only supposed to be $79 it left me feeling a little suspect of what happened. The technician was polite, on time and professional. I always question repairs that are unexpected. Another repair (2 capcitors) was suggested for an additional $320 and I later found I could replace the parts myself for $70. I walked away feeling taken by a used car salesman.
Young is excellent...he explains what he has done and shows inflow/outflow info as well as refrigerant levels...

The guy told me that I have to replace AC system and the reason is shortage of R22 refrigerant in my system, and When I told him just fill it up with refrigerant, he told me that they company doesn't have that kind of R22 as no longer is in the market according to EPA regulations and I have to get new system that comply with EPA regulations. This would cost me between $10,000 to 15,000. So I let him go after they charge me $99 just for diagnosis and called another company and asked in advance if they have R22 refrigerant and the said of course we have it then I scheduled a visit to come and fix my AC. DO NOT TRUST THEM AND ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION
Joel the technician was great. He explained everything that the unit needed & fixed it a timely manner. He was very honest & friendly. Thank you Joel!
Joel reviewed all the procedures he performed and indicated the system was running well with one exceptiom the olm reading was high 80's.

Only problem encountered with installation, and beyond the company's control, was that the original unit was damaged in shipment and the install was delayed a day. Disappointed in the delay but they made up for it on the install. Techs were very knowledgeable, courteous, and willingly explained the steps they were completing. They cleaned up the area after the job was completed. The air con has so far performed beyond my expectations. The house had been without air for about six days and quickly cooled down to a very comfortable level. The project manager who wrote our order was very knowledgeable on the units that were available for our situation. Rather than push a specific unit he explained the pros and cons of each unit and was not pushing a particular brand. I felt I was able to make a safe choice for our air con needs. Office staff have always been courteous and prompt on any of my calls.
My plumber was fantastic. Came right on time. Considerate of neatness. Friendly. Fast. Installed the water heater in no time. I will use them for all my plumbing needs.
Joe was excellent, taking the time to explain the situation, providing expert advice and not rushing through the visit. American Air have been so helpful and professional, will continue to use them as required for our home.
Just need a filter and have to drive to the other side of Columbus to get it because they charge $16 for shipping and they make a special size filter so I can't get it anywhere else.
