Repair man was timely and polite, We has a plugged drain that he cleared, Temps were in the 90's so it was worth the expensive service call. We may have saved a few hundred if we shopped around, but the response time was just a few days and we had purchased a unit from them that we were happy with.
Derrick Starnes was knowledgeable and efficient. Will definitely continue to use Carolina Comfort Air again
I had an appointment for 8-12, they called twice to tell me each time how much later the service tech was going to be. He called and told me his ETA and he was true to his word. The tech was courteous and professional. He found my problem and walked me through the repair and price. Eventhough I have the service plan He still had to charge me for the repair , that I did not like! I did get a discount on the part needed. I hope in the future my appointments will be more timely.
Tony did a fantastic job doing PM on my 3 units. He took his time and was very thorough. He found a preexisting issue that could have led to a serious problem. I would recommend Carolina Comfort Air, and will be using them in the future.
Juan was friendly and professional. The company was able to get him out to us quickly.
Updated Jun 27, 2023 review: Company did call back right quickly yesterday and agreed to send a technician over right away in the next morning. Tracey Hodge did a complete fix, and I'm very happy about he came quickly and just fixed the problem. The company also followed up to make sure I'm satisfied with everything. Given no business is perfect, and they will get odd employees once in a while. I liked they didn't kick around my issue or question my story, and jumped straight to fixing the A/C. It shows sincerity and they still have my trust. So I'm moving the review back to 5 stars. ================================================= My Jun 26, 2023 review: I bought annual maintenance service, and technician Javier Solis came. Before he came, the air was cool, and we just wanted some filter and check the cleanness of the a/c unit. After he left, the air becomes room temp, and the fan outside is not running. Javier was trying to sell us changing some parts for $4000, and we told him we'll think about it, and make sure the a/c was where it was before he came. He left without letting us know. This sounds like blackmail. If you don't change the parts, then you don't get the cool air. He spent 4-5 hours here, who knows what he did. Also, Javier offered us the choice of using his service without letting the company know about. That tells what kind of character he is. Of course, call them after hours will just leave a voice mail. The whole family have to live through the heat, and not knowing the amount of damage he did. I have been their customer for 6 years, never though someone like this can be hired to do the work. ================================================= My review 4 years ago: My AC Unit had draining issues after two years of use. Mr. Brooks came in did a very detailed analysis not just on the draining but also on pressure, electrics and air flow. He fixed all the issues and left a few suggestions. Carolina Comfort Air is a great company to use for HVAC needs. Javier was the representative who inspected our units and he was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Very happy with my experience!

Technicians Tomas, Brian and Ross came out to do an air conditioner, install that required several different upgrades. They were very professional, courteous and timely and assured the job was done in one day, as opposed to two days given the hot temperatures. I would recommend this company and these guys for service if you need it.
Technician Juan Rivera came out today for our semi-annual maintenance and evaluation of our 2 units. Juan was VERY knowledgeable and explained what he was doing and what he had found in our systems. Very professional and personable. We then received a very detailed email about what work was done and what the findings were - as well as estimates for some future work that we may need soon. So glad to have been working with Carolina Comfort Air for some years now. Bob, Garner, NC
Workers were on time, very informative, good work ethic, easy to deal with. Tommy and Justin are an asset to the company. All was done orderly and cleaned up after. Good job!
Our technician Derrick was on time and very courteous and professional. He diagnosed our issues and made several recommendations that would need to be done in order for the project to be completed. Upon returning he and the 2nd tech (Kenny I think?) did their best to complete the job for us but could not due to more unseen issues underneath which we needed to address. On the 3rd trip Derrick was shorthanded and just about completed the 2 man job by himself before another tech could arrive after finishing his project (didn't get his name). These guys all were prompt, courteous, efficient and a pleasure to work with and we wouldn't hesitate to call them back in the future. Wouldn't mind having Derrick do our Bi Annual maintenance if he can!
Rodrigo was amazing. Very professional and informative. The company kept me updated on all aspects of my service, from technician arrival to parts arrival.
Mr. Haddad our technician was professional to the core. He arrived and got down to business and had us back up and running in no time. Very polite and good at his job.
I had multiple companies bid on replacing our 29-year-old Goodman heat pump. On inspection Carolina Comfort Air showed me pictures of parts of the ductwork that are not up to current code. None of the other companies noticed or mentioned. This told me who I wanted to spend my money with. As far as the bids, they came in well below everyone else's bid. Just a great company to work with. From sales to technicians, all are top notch. Go with Carolina Comfort Air, you won't regret it.
We had just bought our house and wanted to have the HVAC system serviced before summer. As it was the 1st time it had been serviced in several years, there were repairs that had to be done. Before doing them, they provided pictures of the issues and a breakdown of each item. Felt good that Carolina Comfort was who we chose to service the unites.

They totally replaced our trane ac system that has been a work horse since 94 when this house was built. We had to go with another trane so I got quotes and talked to different vendors but felt very good about Jimmy who came to see me and answered all my questions plus gave me a few quotes for different ideas and we went with the dual zoning (I think that's what you call it) with another trane. They took a day and a half AND NOT because they didn't work hard but because THEY DID WORK VERY HARD and they take pride in their work so at 7pm they said they would be back first thing and they were. They were thorough, explained things thoroughly and cleaned up everything. Now I'm enjoying a consistently cool home that I had not before. Tommy, Anthony, and Justin and I think Jason. .lots of help on this job....just worked nonstop and I feel quite confident that should anything ever be needed, Carolina Comfort Air will be there. Also a huge shout out to Kathryn and Shannon and everyone that I've delt with from the start to end on this huge undertaking. One less thing to worry about this summer because anyone who knows me knows I can't survive without AC plus this house was built so poorly that it's always a struggle to get the house cool consistently so now dual zones!!! I'm loving it already. Hooray. Trane is the best and even I know that. So happy!!
May 24, 2023. Today Antony Isaacs did service and repair, including replacing some defective components. He was excellent in knowledge, work done, and way he explained things very courteously and professionally. And time efficient, too! Kevin S was terrific in a service call today. Knowledgeable, skillful, professional, and affable. Note #2. Kevin returned for a different purpose today. Kevin was polite, thorough, and on target. He is a good ambassador for the company and a good communicator, neither loquacious nor taciturn, just clear and straightforward. We have had a number of problems with the expensive split/zone damper system that we bought, but Kevin improves the situation greatly. We prefer him for all future maintenance and other calls.
Called in Carolina comfort air after dissatisfied service from another vendor. Explained the situation to Rodrigo and he went over the system thoroughly and explained in detail. Remediated the issue quickly and was very professional with his work. Would recommend the provider and Rodrigo to anyone looking for quality work! Didn’t want to name the other company out of good will.
