I would have shopped around if I knew that they were not able to repair unit.
Thank you, Tompkins, for replacing my toilet. As always, my interactions with your staff was top notch at every level. My technician, Rich, was so pleasant and professional! Although i hope never to require their services again (!!!), I would definaltly call them again for my plumbing needs. I will also recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing ae4vices.

When we renovated our kitchen we called EW Tompkins for a quote to do the plumbing and heating changes we needed. They were very helpful with answering all of our questions and giving a thorough estimate for the removal and then installing the plumbing for the sink and to remove the baseboard heat and install a toe kick heater under the sink cabinet instead. We were very happy with all of the work they did.
5- star service! They were great on the phone, showed up on time for the estimate, and took a close look at everything we wanted repaired/replaced. That included a garbage disposal replacement, whole-house water filter replacement, some drain work under the sink, and a diagnosis of no water at the refrigerator tap. We received the estimate shortly thereafter, and decided to go ahead with everything since the quote was reasonable. After a short wait for parts, they showed up on time again, and did really nice quality work! Regular communication via text kept us informed whenever they were scheduled to arrive so we didn't have to wait all day! Very professional and pleasant service throughout! Highly recommended!!!

EW Tompkins replaced faucets on 3 bathroom sinks . They did a great job. They were punctual and professional. I would recommend them.
They were quick to set up an appointment, tech was on time , friendly and knowledgeable. They figured out the problem and hopefully will be back as quickly with the parts to get us back up and running.

Amazing guys came to fix a leak. They were efficient, mindful and transparent. I will definitely come to them again if I need anything.
Terrible all around experience, had used them in the past pre-Covid but things have really gone downhill. Got a text that they were on their way, an hour and 10 minutes later I finally called to see where they were and the receptionist said they would check on their status. They showed up about 10 minutes later. They quickly diagnosed the issue but did not have the part required so had to run out to buy the part. The part they bought did not work and they determined that another part would need to be replaced. They said they would get that part and call back to schedule another appointment. They charged me $257 for the hour that they mostly spent shopping for the wrong part. Next day got a call from them expecting them to schedule a new appointment. Nope, they were calling to try and double bill me. I explained that I had already paid and they checked their records and realized I was correct. I then asked about when they were going to come back to finish the job. She was not aware of that so was going to reach out to them and give me a call back. Two weeks passed and nobody called back so I finally called again. This time I explained the situation and the woman assured me she would find out what was going on and call me back right away. That was over 72 hours ago and I have still not heard a thing back. I would not recommend using this company and if you do, absolutely do not pay them a penny until they finish the job! Otherwise they will ghost you and you will be left with a permanently leaky sink.
Installation crew was excellent, prompt, professional, and friendly. Explained everything. Booking was very easy, called yesterday afternoon and the new Water Heater was delivered and installed first thing this morning (8am). Definitely appreciated the fast turnaround as our water heater was shot -- no hot water. They were very straight forward and easy to work with. Will definitely recommend E.W. Tompkins in the future. FIVE STARS!
I woke up with water pouring out of the vent in my hot water heater. I called at 7, they had someone there by 8:30, tank replacement work was done by 11. Friendly workers and quality work, highly recommend!

New dryer install - required a change-over of the gas supply line with a new fitting at the gas source. Polite & resourceful, Kevin arrived ahead of schedule, got the job done efficiently including some problem-solving to adapt the extremely old vent set-up.
I called E.W. Tompkins looking for a plumber that could come out quickly to replace valves so I could get a washing machine installed. They were able to come the next morning, and not only replaced the valves, but also replaced my kitchen sink faucet. The work was efficiently completed and I am very happy with the service.
