After dealing with my home warranty for over a month and dealing with other heating and cooling companies who would take a week or more to get to me and then continue to tell me my AC is working just fine (even though my AC would not cool past 76 degrees at night, and late afternoon couldn’t even keep up with the heat and would rise anywhere between 80-85), I decided it was time to call another company. The side of my unit had a Design Aire sticker and phone number, so I decided to give them a call. I’m sure glad I did! Not only were they able to get to me the same day, they were able to find the problem quickly. They didn’t have the part with them, and they said it wasn’t in stock but would order it ASAP. The day after the diagnosis, I received a call and the part was in! It only took them one day to get the part!!! Best of all, they came back out that afternoon and fixed my AC! They’ve won a customer for life, and while I don’t want my AC to break again, if it does I know who to call.

We’ve used Design Aire for years, and are under their yearly maintenance agreement. They come out twice a year to check the air conditioning and heating and make sure everything is working well. Late last night, our air conditioner went out, and I contacted them, and they sent someone right out in the morning who had it fixed Within an hour. Very good service, and their technicians are always extremely friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend.

The installers were efficient and worked for approximately six hours getting the Trane HVAC system installed. The two men were friendly, polite, and focused on getting the job done. I have two concerns. First is that the next morning I realized I had no hot water. I called Design Aire and asked if installers might have had to turn off gas water heater and neglected to turn it back on. I was told that the gas furnace has its own turn off so the water heater would not have been affected. He suggested I call a plumber. The end result is that the pilot light on the water heater had been blown out! That had to have happened during the installation of the new furnace! I was without hot water for almost two days before I could get someone here to relight the pilot - which I had to pay for, of course. My second concern is that on the last page of Installer Checklist, it says that installer "Go over entire system with customer. Show them the equipment, how to change the air filter, humidifier pad, how bypass damper opens, how humidistat works, how thermostat works, how to program thermostat and clean ac." NONE of this happened. The new system is working well, and I'm very pleased with it - only have used the AC part so far. However, I'm disappointed that I was given no assistance with the water heater issue, nor did I receive any of the customer instructions as Design Aire supposedly requires.

Called and left a message that AC was out at 6:00 PM on Thursday. We received a call around 8:00 AM the next day from a friendly and professional lady who asked about our issues, told me what we should do until their technician could make it out and scheduled a technician to be out by 12:00 Noon that day. We also got a text confirming our appointment that included a picture of Jake our technician. We also received a text when Jake was on this way. When Jake got here he was very professional and seemed to know what he was doing. He quickly diagnosed the issue. He had a replacement fan motor on his truck. He got it installed in 30 or 40 minutes. We could not be happier. We have used Design Air in past and strongly recommend them to our friends and family. Most importantly we feel we can trust what they say. Many of my friends seem to always be told their only option is to replace their AC and or furnace for $5,000 to $16,000. Design Air got us up and going again within 24 hours for around $600. Jake also talked to us about the life expectancy of our older systems and when we will know it is time to get a new unit. Again, we could not be happier!!!

I honestly didn’t think anyone would be able to come out since it was a Friday and one of the hottest days of 2023. Zach Humphrey was here by 3:45; he evaluated the unit and was so honest about the status of the equipment and what was needed; gave me all options and was so professional about the best way to resolve the problem that I was amazed by his truthfulness and lack of trying to up sell me… we discussed a newer unit and I’m looking into that now. Zach is an outstanding employee and representative of your company… don’t loose the good ones; your name is riding on their performance. Zach also replaced the new ac filter I had near the unit.
