Had our AC go out and they were able to come in and replace it within a week. A big thanks to Cody who came for the quote and answered all of my questions regarding various systems thoroughly. Tovah and Rob did a fantastic job installing and everything works great. I didn’t catch their names but the electricians from Spark were friendly and professional as well. Will definitely use Standard in the future
I have had Standard Heating & A/C come out on several occasions and they are always professional. They get the job done right & recommend exactly what is needed, never trying to upsell. I appreciate that my technician, Mike teaches me how to use my system properly and is patient with my learning curve 😁
We've had a great experience with Standard. We've had the Mitsubishi mini-ducts Heat/AC units put in two rooms in August 2022 and recently had a new furnace and A/C installed. In both projects Standard's quote was the highest and they would not endorse a downgrade in equipment to save money because they did not feel it would serve our needs. Communication is good and all team members have been trustworthy and professional.
Had Jeff come over to do our AC install. Did a great job! Got the job done faster than was estimated!
Standard installed our new furnace and AC during the pandemic after the furnace completely died when it was -40 degrees. They were very fast to support us especially since we had already gone through the quote phase. We’ve signed up for the annual system checks/cleaning every year since. Their service team are always on time, excellent communicators, and clean up after themselves. Highly suggest using this team for your HVAC needs.
Mike taught us how to use our boiler. Our first time with radiators. He is a gifted trainer as well as service. Summer is super helpful by phone. Initial contact was great as well. 3 for 3 so far. We are doing the annual service with them because of the real quality we've experienced.
My furnace stopped suddenly. Thermostat went dark outside temp dropped to high 20's last Saturday. Standard Heating arrived Monday found problem immediately and replaced the pump and the furnace started right away I had a warm house in minutes Themostat worked perfectly. The men explained everything and the whole job took ha4lf an hour. And at very reasonable cost. I couldn't be happier. Recommend Standard Heating!!! I also use their furnace and air cond. tuneup service.
We have been a customer of Standard Heating & Air Conditioning for years. We had to replace our furnace a couple of years ago during an extra cold January and they worked quickly to get our new one in. Finally replaced our ancient air conditioner today. Install went great. And we are ready for the summer heat. Every technician they have sent are timely, knowledgeable, and efficient.

My old furnace went out. I called Standard and one other company. Standard was quick to arrive, diagnose the problem, quote a replacement furnace, and perform a Saturday installation. Their price was also better than the other company I called. Everyone was professional, clean in my home (wore shoe "booties"), and efficient with their work. Very happy with the service.
Impressive service. Family-owned company that cares about its customers and its employees. The city inspector said that their installation was "a model of HVAC excellence."
Standard Heating is my family's go to for any heating and air maintenance, new installations, etc and we know that we will be safe and comfortable. Fifty one years of incomparable knowledge and professionalism. Would not use anyone else!
Jake was on time, masked, professional, asked/answered questions, installed a part he had available in the truck and helped set the thermostat properly.
Technician was very courteous and was very thorough in his explanation of possible concerns he had for the unit in the future. Have always had great service and reliability from Standard from installation to yearly service call for 15 years.
Standard Heating has handled our furnace/AC since we moved into our house 23 yrs ago. In that time they have installed 2 new furnaces. The most recent experience was great -- from diagnosing a failing heat exchanger to selecting a new furnace/AC to the installation. The technicians are informative and knowledgeable. The sales rep gave us good options and made the experience easy. In Minnesota, heating is important. We trust Standard Heating for our heat.

Standard Heating is who we trust for the right service for our heating and cooling systems. We get the best advice and the techs are always offering insights for us. Brian E. was super helpful and gave us a plan to find out the right humidification option for us.
***SEE UPDATE BELOW.*** Very disappointed in this company. We had a technician come out to look at our furnace due to pilot light issues in April. The technician (who was very nice, the only good part of this experience) who took a look, thought he found the issue, but told us that he wasn't entirely sure. Given how late in the year it was, the technician told us (verbatim) that if we turn the furnace back on in the Fall and it still isn't working, to call them and they would come out again under the same claim with no additional charge. Fast forward to the Fall. We turn the furnace back on, and the problem persists. So, we do what the technician told us to do. Unfortunately, the administrative staff were some of the rudest people I have ever had the misfortune of speaking to. Not only did they accuse me of lying about what the technician said, but after I pushed them on it, the best response they could gather was "I GUESS we'll do you a favor and knock off $100 bucks from the fee." Additionally, they weren't even willing to have someone come out until the following week, but were STILL going to charge their "emergency weekend fee." Stay away from this place like the plague, they are only trying to scam you. If you are forced to use them, make sure you get EVERY WORD IN WRITING WITH EMAIL CONFIRMATION. They will likely still attempt to screw you over for a few extra bucks, but at least you have support. It's really a shame--we'll have to replace our furnace soon, and the technician was kind enough that we thought we'd do it through Standard. Now, not even considering them. UPDATE: As the response indicated, Standard did make the situation right. I have updated my review to four stars as outside of this situation the company (especially the technicians) have been very pleasant to work with.
