When it comes to home maintenance and repairs it is not always easy to find a company you can trust and depend on to do the job with excellence and integrity. Dean Mechanical is a step above the rest, every time. We had a reoccurring and complex issue with our heating system and Doug, Sean and Dean worked together to diagnosis the issue(s) and present us with our options. They are honest and fair with their pricing and will take the time to explain why a part is needed. They will not sell you on something that is unnecessary. They truly care about providing excellent service and making sure your systems are running smoothly and safely. We can not recommend them enough! A small, yet mighty local/family owed business that is always willing to go the extra mile.
We had our hot water heater go out on Wednesday. I talked to Shaun on Wednesday evening and he had Drew come out on Wednesday. We had our new water heater installed by 1:30 on Thursday by Drew. He was very professional, did a great job and left the area cleaner than when he arrived. I would highly recommend them.
Our service person was very professional and helpful. He explained our services in a way that was easy to understand. Arrived ahead of schedule and was finished in a timely manner.
I learned that the instillation of these units is more important than the units themselves. Dean Mechanical did an outstanding job with the instillation which will give the units their longest, most efficient life.
Hired Dean mechanical to come repair rental house heater, this started in November they have been out four times since then charging us every time, the problem is still not solved. charged us over $1200.00. Was told by (new) current furnace guy, D mechanical was letting me sleep with a furnace that is leaking carbon monoxide into my house. D mechanical representative told me I was safe and had nothing to worry about. Thanks Dean! Not properly trained staff or maybe not the correct tools. This guy has his staff trained to upsell you on stuff that is not even needed. the company that referred me has also called them back out and will not use them again. They were telling me how D mechanical also tried to upsell them on parts not needed, they did the original installation at the friends house and then trying to upsell them because they were stating things were not up to code when they actually installed original equipment. I would steer clear of Dean and his boys.
Doug came to run new thermostat wire for multistage heat / multistage AC. He got the job done and took time to explain everything and answer questions. Great company to work with.

So grateful to Dean Mechanical. Our heat went out on the coldest day of the winter and they came out the next morning. Everyone was kind and professional, from my call to the office to the installation of our new efficient furnace. They also worked with DTE and Consumers energy on our behalf for available rebates. I highly recommend this company for all of your HVAC needs.
I contacted Dean Mechanical after recommendations from 3 people and they did not disappoint. I knew at 20 years old, and my furnace only working intermittently, that I most likely would need to replace it. Doug came out and spent 2 hours gong through everything. He took the time to explain and show me the list of challenges I was facing, gave me my list of options with no sales pitch, and told me to call him directly if I had any further questions. 3 days later, the system stopped again. I called Doug and admitted it was time to replace the furnace. By the end of the day, I had a new one installed. Excellent customer service from the technicians, the office staff, and Dean himself. I highly recommend Dean for any HVAC needs.

Wasnt able to give me any explanations for issues I had or how to resolve them. Also was expecting to hear back with a quote and more info on a program they have. Never heard a thing. Very disappointed
Very happy with Dean Mechanical. They showed up right on time, did a quick and professional AC replacement, worked with us to identify any opportunities for cost savings as the install progressed, and were very careful in regards to Covid exposure. After the installation, you wouldn't have known they were here unlike some other contractors we've worked with. everything was neat and tidy and the installers were very kind and good people to have around. Highly recommend this company.
