Good reputable company, honest work. We've been using them for preventative maintenance on the AC & Furnace for years.

I bought my house 30 years ago, since then Dan Woods has installed a new furnace, air conditioner, hot water tank and sump pump. They get the job done right the first time. Highly recommend.

The only reason I used this company again was that my hot water heater was installed by them and it failed under the warranty. The hot water heater was installed properly but the plumber from Danwood decided to change up my recirculation line configuration which lead to air blocks-pockets in line that could not be blown out. Danwood decided not to fix so I didn't have proper water temperatures in faucets due to air block/pockets. They told me it was not air block/pockets but I then hired a master plumber to come out and check their work. He said it's for sure air blocks. Danwood came back to the home and told me to go through and change all my cartridges in each faucet and that it was not their issue that after they changed the hot water heater. Also 3 plumbers from Danwood said the issues was faucets. I then hired the master plumber at an additional expense to fix their work and instantly I now have hot water! (I did find out the Novi City Inspector told them he agreed with the air block issue and Danwood said they are done with their install and thats the permit they pulled) they installed the hot water heater correctly but not the recirculation line which the City Permit pulled was for the Hot Water Heater only.... so on a technicality they pulled off the job doing the bare minimum and customer service and satisfaction was not first! The only reason I didn't give them 1 star is the office staff (Denise) was seemingly great. I'm in real estate and know a bit more about mechanicals --- don't hire a company that only does the bare minimum even it the results are bad they won't fix it! I now have hot water due to another company finishing their work to be satisfactory! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

A friend of ours, who is a home inspector, told us this family-owned business is honest and reliable, so we called this morning at 8:00 AM because a pipe was leaking in our basement. By 10 AM, Dan Wood Plumbing sent a young man named Brian here to solve our problem. He was a polite, conscientious, hard worker, who not only repaired the problem but also cleaned up well! This will be our "Go To" business whenever we have plumbing concerns or problems. Their pricing is reasonable, and they don't take advantage of us senior citizens. The office workers are pleasant and helpful, too. This is a quality business, so I pray they will have continued blessings in all they do!

Highly recommend. These guys are the real deal. We had a rather complicated job, tearing out a boiler from a location that was not to code as well as a water heater in a different location, replacing with a boiler/tankless water heater combi unit in a third location. Also had some electrical work done. So we needed HVAC, plumbing, and electrical and these guys did it all. I had gotten over 10 quotes from different places and this company had the best plan and I felt most confident choosing them over all the others. I was not disappointed. They all knew exactly what they were doing and got the job done when they said they would. It wasn't cheap, but the price was reasonable considering all that had to be done. 100% glad I chose them. I have had bad experiences with various contractors and plumbers, so it's great to have someone I can trust for future projects. I will definitely be hiring them again.

Megan Z. was very accommodating with scheduling at the last minute for a home plumbing issue. Technicians Cam and Mike arrived on time, explained work performed and were incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Would highly recommend for any plumbing, electrical or hvac work.

Eric Malone and his partner were very professional, quick, and walked us through everything on top of doing quality work in installing our water heater in our basement after our old one had begun leaking the night prior. I would definitely use Dan Wood and recommend Eric as a technician for any repairs or installations needed at your home.

I had an HVAC issue, spent a lot of time to try to fix it (I'm also an engineer), but only able to figure out some. So, I called Dan Wood Inc, They were able to come the next day ( I first scheduled with Ehlers heating, but had to wait for 5 days, and when time's up, they called and said the technician was not able to come because not feeling well). The service person, Corey, arrived on time (the next day morning at 8!), and quickly figured out a number of issues, and solved the problem. He's very professional, very gentle. ...and the charge was very reasonable. Highly recommend Dan Wood and especially Corey!

I can't comment on the quality of their work or their pricing because never got a chance to hire them. Tried to hire them for 2 small (ish) jobs. The man came out looked at what I needed done took some notes and said they would call with quotes. Never heard back, just ghosted me. If the job is too small for your time just tell me. I did spend about $1,000 for the 2 jobs with another plumber.

A lot of the time, Google reviews aren't accurate. But 4 stars here is absolutely perfect I would say. They're expensive but they take good care of you. A couple problems arose with a big job they did for me and they came back out twice for no additional charge, even sending out the most experienced supervisor to resolve my issue. Office staff is very friendly and helpful as well. It's a big company so they don't pay their workers well enough, and they are overworked as well. I'm sure that contributed to some of the issues that prevented me from giving 5 stars. The workers themselves are great and would recommend them as individuals anytime. But you would be better off finding an experienced, independent plumber who can give more attention to your problem without the overhead costs and issues that come with a big capitalist enterprise.

Dan Wood came out to investigate a sanitary pipe leak in my crawl space. They quickly got me scheduled and ended up having to replace 20+ feet of old corroded, heavy cast iron pipe and replace it with properly pitched PVC. This was a rough 3 day job in a cramped crawl space replacing a sewage pipe, as bad as it gets. Every time progress was made a new issue popped up due to the old original plumbing but Jack and Curtis were friendly and transparent throughout the whole job. I've used this company at work for years but this is the first major issue I've had for them at home. A true family owned business with a passion for their work that I'd recommend to anyone.
