Very patient and personable technician. Thorough assessment. Timely installation.
Technician took 1.5 hours to troubleshoot and then told me the system had no refrigerant and would need 5lbs at $175 per lb. It takes a good tech about 5 minutes to determine if a system is low on refrigerant. Goff Heating and Air replaced the thermal expansion valve and unit is fixed. I called 3 times to ask the GM to return my call for a refund on the $129 charge and he wouldnt return my call. I had to go there to get my money back. I would avoid them at all costs. Technician couldnt figure out what was wrong, so he lied about no refrigerant in system and apparently their management doesn’t like to return calls on a legitimate complaint.
Everyone was very helpful they replaced an old furnace and central air conditioning with a few pipes in one day and with no heat I was very grateful. It was a little pricey but what isn't these days. But they had great financing. Thank you Michiana Heating for the quick work
Jim Drew is a great asset to an already strong professional staff. We had tricky problem and Jim successfully solved it. He refused to give up until he analyzed the problem and figured out a fix for it. It was frustrating and time consuming but he stayed with it until it was resolved. Great guy. My husband and I highly recommend.
Two Thumbs up for the Fireplace Shoppe division of Michiana Heating and Air Conditioning! It was an exceptionally difficult installation and to make matters worse the unit installed proved to be defective. It took time to find and correct the situation but with the perseverance of the Fireplace Shoppe manager and the diligence of the Regency technicians this very difficult and confusing defect was corrected. I now have a very beautiful, efficient and high quality unit giving me warmth and beauty that I can count on for years to come. Tom Wesolowski

The tech, I think his name is Derrick, was very courteous. He explained the issue and fixed the problem. If we have any more issues we will definitely use Michiana Heating.
Josh came on short notice to help with a roof leak around metal chimney. He was very helpful and profesional.
I woke up with no heat this morning. Aaron came out quickly to check on things. He was friendly and made things easy to understand. I know nothing about HVAC, but he explained things just right. Excellent service!

Kudos! They answered my call, asked the correct questions, and sent someone out same day to fix our problem. Since it was very cold out, getting our furnace working again was critical. Communications were stellar. We appreciated getting an email introducing the service rep in advance.

Set up a preventative maintenance service call and the service tech that came out came into my house with no tools, was there for 10 minutes, said he was done and left. I checked the furnace and found that it was not cleaned and my air filter was not even replaced. The office called to collect the fee and I told them what happened. They said a Manager would call me, but that never happened. Fast forward 3 weeks, my furnace quit working- surprise, surprise. Called again, had to pay $130 for the visit to learn the part was not stocked and it would be a week. Oh and by the way they say, you still owe us for the PM service! What? Absolutely not! I am not paying for services that were not rendered. Stay away from this place. Service is horrible and the business practices are shady. I wish Burkett was still in operation- they were wonderful. Also, I found the part online myself and had it in 2 days. We now have heat - no thanks to this place.
Jon and the rest of Michigan Heating and Air Conditioning did a full furnace replaced just hours after I called. We had an emergency and they made everything possible and easy. Can’t thank them enough.
Michiana Heating and Air Conditioning went above and beyond. No heat in winter doesn't make for much fun, but with their help, a new furnace was installed the next day with professional sales and installation. I highly recommend them for any and all of your heating, cooling, fireplace, and outdoor living needs. There's no one else I would use! Huge shoutout to Levi Zelmer for all his help; he knows his stuff! Michiana's professionalism is second to none.
I wanted so badly to give them a good review because they are very professional and nice. Unfortunately they worked on my system all winter last year and I’ve paid a few thousand so far. When I turned the boiler on for this season, it is having the same exact issue. When I called them to come out again, I was told that I’m out of my 30 day warranty. So that means I have to start at square one and they will once again come out every other week and state that it’s a different issue than originally thought. I would have rather had them tell me that they don’t know what the problem is and have me call someone else.
Great experience! Starting with over the top communication. I booked my appointment, and as usual with repairs got a window of time. I got a reminder text the day before, i got call when the repairman was actually ready to head my way to confirm i was ready for him, then i got a text with his picture and a little bit about him so I'd know who was knocking on my door. After so many experiences with terrible communication from repair services, I'd hire these guys just for that.
I couldn't be more pleased with Noah and Luis and his install team from Michiana Heating and Air Conditioning. I have wanted a minisplit for some time, and it is just in time as the temperatures are dropping. It instantly heats the space. I had gotten three quotes from different companies and am very happy to have gone with Michiana Heating - and I would highly recommend them to my friends.
