Excellent service when my AC system did not work on day one
Had a whole house generator, service panel, meter and boxes installed. HUGE job. The crew consisted of Conner, Kevin, Patrick, Lance, Matt, Saun, and Corry. They were very professional and respectful. They made sure I got exactly what I wanted and was satisfied. The crew worked extremely well together. I could not be happier with the outcome. Darren was here on time and very professional with his service call. Found the problem, replaced the part, and had us up and running in no time. I used Family to install my AC 20 years ago and have always had great experiences with them.

We love this company! We have used them previously for unrelated problems on an old furnace in a prior home. We were in need of central air and our furnace was old, so we decided it was time for both. My first call was to Family Heating and Cooling. The first step was the pleasant experience with our salesman, Norm. No pressure and honest visit with Norm. Then nobody came close to their price. I saved enough from the closest quote to upgrade to a high efficiency model and still have some more left in the bank account. Next is the management... On the spot communication, right up to the morning of the install. This was a two day install and what a neat and tight install it was! Plus, they give you a gfi outlet at the AC unit and when they put in the new chimney liner, they upgraded my hot water tank exhaust to the 4" that most codes require at no cost. Now for the meat of it. Let me tell you... My installers, Pat and Gerry (pronounced Jerry), were both very courteous and absolutely professional. Other than a lunch break, they never stopped moving and their choices for routing of PVC and copper lines really look good! I recommended to a friend and after three quotes, Family Heating and Cooling will be installing a furnace and central air for him in a few weeks. Service call, repair or install, make them your first call. Lastly, take a few bucks that you saved and buy these young men lunch, they deserve it. Thanks to everybody, from the owners all the way to the installers. Great job! Update: Over a year later and no problems. 👍
We’ve used them for over ten years now for AC, Heating and electrical work. They are top notch and stand behind their work. Professional and courteous at all times and fairly priced. I just used them to install an EV wall charger which is an ever growing business line, couldn’t be more pleased! 👍🏾👍🏾
The service technician, Chatlie, was super! Very thorough, clean, professional & did a great job. My furnace & air conditioner have not been this quiet in I don't know how long. Terrific work. Would recommend Family Heating for work in the future too.
Have used this company for years and I've never been disappointed in any service provided. The two service reps that installed my ceiling fan and 2 lights exceeded even my expectations. They were professional, courteous, patient in responding to all my questions and did a wonjob with clean-up. Family is my go-to company.
David and Derrick were very courteous and respective to me and my home. They were a great team and supportive of each other. Got the job done and explained what they did and even cleaned up after.
When our AC went out we were referred to Family heating and cooling from a family friend. Norm from Family heating cooling and electrical came out and we had a wonderful experience. He was extremely friendly and thorough. We had a 35+ year old AC system, and our service loop from the house to the city power was frayed and Norm recommended their electrician to come out and quote how much it was to replace that along with the HVAC system. This is where it went downhill. Rick from electrical came out and instead of just quoting the service loop like we wanted he refused and would only quote to have our entire fuse box to be moved and brought up to code. He stated that when they pulled the permits for the electrical that the city would come out and verify everything was up to code and if they didn’t fix that too, Family would be on the hook for repairs and they had been burned one too many times. After Rick left we immediately called Norm and told him we were not happy and didn’t know what to do. Rick from electrical wanted us to spend another $3,200 to upgrade the fuse box ontop of the $8,900 for the AC and furnace. Norm stated he would talk to his manager and call us back. Dan called us back and said he would have to come out and look for himself. Dan came out and said yeah it should be replaced but they could work around it. We signed the contract and scheduled the install. This is where Family heating and cooling really shined! Nick and Hunter from the install team were amazing. Kind, professional and efficient, the install went perfectly. Even with the little incident with Rick from electrical, Family Heating and cooling did a superior job with the install and we are very happy!
Mike and Donovan were the installation techs for my furnace remove and replace, humidifier installation and new thermostat installation. They did a professional job including cleanup. They had to make some ductwork at their shop, but it all came together in the end.
For a new AC unit, good experience from the estimate through installation. Professional and courteous service.
We did not had hot water for the weekend and other companies gave us big budget to repair with out looking what is wrong. John S (#484) from Family heating company helped us and saved us big time. He is not a plumbing guy still he took time to dig deeper and removed the clog. I really appreciate his help, professionalism and quality!
Called family heating and cooling scheduled an appointment took them over two weeks to come out. Told me they would give me time they were coming out. Never called. Took off work when they were coming out. Got Tex message saying they were on way. Two guys showed up said they did not have time to look at and would have to schedule a time to look at it. Thought that’s why I waited over two weeks for them to show up. Charged me 90 dollars for service call.
Every time we have needed them, they have done a great job. Even to the point of getting great advice one time when they thought we wouldn't need them. Highly recommend them.
I can't recommend this company enough. I had them out to do a simple water heater replacement and when things started to go wrong Family showed they cared. They kept in constant contact through the whole situation and showed professionalism and compassion. How Brian and Juan handled themselves reflected how honest this company is.
