These guys are my heroes!! I needed new batteries for my car keys, I had to go to work, it was 7AM, nothing was opened, and I was PANICKING. I went to Reckingers Heating & Cooling to see if they had batteries by chance, and THEY DID! They helped me replace the batteries of my car key, and didn't even charge me for it. Truly top-notch quality service! They were incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and friendly. Thank you so much!!

Tenants let me know that AC wasn’t working in the middle of our current mini-heatwave. Called Reckinger’s that night and they got me in their schedule for the next day. Technician called to let me know when they’d be there to evaluate, showed up on time, promptly diagnosed the issue and quickly resolved it - all for a reasonable price. I am so glad and lucky I came across Reckinger last year when looking for a heating and cooling company. Every person I have dealt with is nice, professional, and patient with me. They reply quickly, their charges are fair, and they answer all my questions without making me feel stupid or like I'm wasting their time. Most recently, my furnace died on December 23 around 11:00 pm. Coldest day of the year, and a holiday weekend. I never expected them to answer the phone, but they did, and came out and checked my furnace. It was over 34 years old, and its time had come. They came back Saturday morning (Christmas Eve) and put in a temporary furnace for me. I sure never expected that, and most people I talk to have never heard of a heating and cooling company doing that. I used it for almost 2 weeks, until my new furnace was installed. I thank God for them, they really saved me a lot of aggravation and stress. Thank you Reckinger!

Extremely disappointed with Reckinger and will not be using them again. Arranged a time for a technician to come by, no one showed, no one called. After calling back several times, finally had a tech come out a few days later. They were not able to get into the attic to complete the repair (due to the tenant), we agreed to reschedule (they did still charge for the Trip Visit Fee). Didn’t hear back from them for weeks, finally rescheduled…once again, no one showed up, no once called to communicate this. Finally had some one come out the next day (after many more calls to ensure they would show)…and they did complete the work…but took apart a closet system and refused to put it back together. Now I’m left with a disassembled closet system, an angry tenant…and all they can say is sorry. Not our fault, we are busy. SMH. Never again!

Reckingers is truly the best. They have treated me with more respect and kindness then any other company out there. My furnace stopped working.Another company came out and gave a subpar check, I called Reckingers the next day to come out to check it ( second opinions are always welcome. ) Adam went over it with a fine tooth comb, explained everything, answered all our questions and was the nicest guy. Found out i truly needed a new furnace as the parts and labor were almost as much as a new unit. The ladies in the office are the best. They are all so sweet and helpfull. They helped me sort everything out. From trying to get a loan to finally getting it all set up and ready to be installed. Called me back with updates, never got annoyed when i called them a million times. I would truly say to anyone looking for Heating and Cooling repair to make one call, and call Reckingers!! Thank you to everyone at this company for making me feel like family.

My sister hired them to come fix her gas fireplace, the guy couldn't fix it and told her so,but charged her a 100 dollars.Wf business does that. I can see charging her 49.00 for coming out.You need to hire more skilled workers, or stop screwing people

Adam came out today for my for the yearly inspection on my furnace. Adam took the time to figure out why my humidifier was not working and fixed it, which was not corrected during the inspection done last year. Thank you to Jana, Denise, and Steve the owner for being so understanding and compassionate. We needed to replace a hot water tank and furnace due to flooding from water back up. This company has exceeded our expectations by far. Reckingers is a 100 percent class act company! Steve went out of his way to make sure we received everything at a phenomenal price. Reckingers has restored my confidence in a great company that looks out for there customers. This company is professional, punctual, and went beyond expectations to accommodate our needs. The customer service is alright but the prices raise eyebrows. Parts are marked up extremely high and receipts don’t show a breakdown of what you’re paying for, they also say 24 hours but that is false. You can find better service elsewhere. Avoid if you can.

Had two service calls within one week. Issue was with a boiler. The first time they got the unit back in the service but did not take the extra time to bleed out the air. Had to call him back to do that the second time obviously had to pay the service call fee for both service calls. My experience they are not boiler experts. They were punctual.

The agent came and was polite, however I was charged $185 for someone to come and look, and point the problem. I told them what the problem is before they looked at it. I agreed to pay the $185 and the agent gave me a quote of $900 to replace a control gas valve. According to him, the control valve is around $600 or $700 dollars. I bought the same control valve for $120 brand new.
