If you are on auto delivery, they are like the tooth fairy, your tank is full and you have a receipt on your door. That’s the only way you know they have been there. Unlike other companies, you have to beg them to get them to fill it.
From my first contact at Petro with Nick, to completing the account set up with Kelly Bachur, everything was clear and easy. They answered all my questions and made the process painless. Much appreciated!
On March 1, 2023 I had no hot water. My plumber came over to check the hot water heater and found I had no propane. I have never run out of propane in the past. When I called, I was told by the delivery manager they topped off my tanks with a minimal amount of gas. Then, just a few weeks later I lost 200 gallons of gas. The propane manager was a real jerk and kept yelling at me that I must have used the gas. I finally spoke to the location manager who admitted the valve must not have been closed tight and the gas leaked out. They came out the same day and filled the tanks and I had to pay for 195 gallons of gas. There was no offer to help me pay for the gas since it wasn't my fault or any offer to give me a credit on my account. I had to pay for two full tanks of gas that were lost due to their error. To this point, I hadn't had any problem with them and am not happy with the way I was treated by the propane manager. I felt horrible and so unappreciated as a customer. I have stayed with them and hope this will not happen again. If it does, I will definitely be changing companies. The customer service was horrible and degrading!

We have been so happy to switch our oil delivery service to Petro Home Services. Our rep, Kelly Bachur, has gone above and beyond to get us service quickly, and has just been so friendly and easy to work with. We can’t recommend her enough!
Petro is fantastic. I have been in communications with this company over things I needed done and they were always excellent in helping me. I am very proud to have them in my connections for home living and they are very caring and friendly. Grateful !
Edit May 3, 2023: Do NOT believe the response from Petro to my review. They have never reached out to me and nothing has happened to address my issues. It’s inconceivable they would respond with such dishonesty. Hired Petro in August 2020 to replace my existing HVAC system. When I signed the contract, I didn’t realize they used subcontractors instead of their own installers. The subcontractor who did my installation did a very poor initial installation, and constantly complained while he was on the job site about how little he was getting paid for the job. He proceeded to cut several corners, up to, and including wiring my unit incorrectly from the outset. It took three separate trips for Petro service technicians to figure out my problem over the next six months. Fast forward to this winter and my TWO YEAR OLD heat pump was cycling on and off nonstop. Hired another service company to come out and troubleshoot the system, and it had already lost significant amounts of Freon, causing the unit to run incessantly. After spending $1000 on this recent service call with another company, I would NOT recommend Petro for any work in the future. A two year old system shouldn’t continue to cause problems and cost me money. FYI, my old system was 19 years old and never had a single problem. I decided to replace that system to be proactive and possibly save some energy costs. I regret my decision to use Petro.

Extremely scammy and salesman like. Got roped into things I did not understand. A constant delivery of oil without my knowledge is expensive. I cant be on a payment plan until my $1100 bill is paid to $0. We were out of oil so decided to use the cheapest company because we were desperate. It was not worth it. I’m cancelling (and incurring a fee since I’m breaking contract) and going to use a local service that will deliver when I need them to.
The service tech that came out was great. And so far the deliveries we have had the drivers have been great
This is the absolute worst company to deal with I bought a brand new boiler for my house in November and have had nothing but issues with it not working and going out twice a month with no heat while I am pregnant I’ve called twice a month since November and Someone finally came out 2 weeks ago. To spend 8k on something and it not work. I do not and would not recommend this company to anyone.
They are always here to deliver oil before we run out. Thankfully this has been a warm winter
Service is ok but the oil prices are extremely high at $7.00 a gallon.
