I would highly recommend them. They are the best. He had my ac up and running about 20 minutes after he got to my house. He was right on time as promised. 75.00 total charge. My air compressor stopped working, and he had it up and running really fast. I’m very happy! Great service!

I will use always use these guys. They take care of me like family. They always get me on the schedule quickly, are efficient when they are here and are always giving me tips to keep my equipment maintained and my energy bill low. They will always have my business.

We have been using Christoperh and Smith for several years now. Have found them to be reliable for my home, business and rental properties. Show up when they say they will, fix the problem and look out for my pocket book by not doing work not needed and recommending prevention as appropriate. They do all my work and will continue to do so.
Wonderful to work with, the only company we trust in Lexington for our rental properties. Have always had a fantastic experience. When other companies are trying to sell us a new system or do repairs that aren't really needed, Christopher & Smith does not, they do their work and fix the problem and that's it. Will never use another company.
Call these guys before making any repair! I had a big name HVAC technician come out to diagnose hot air blowing in AC mode. With a maximum of 3 minutes of troubleshooting, barely pulling a screwdriver from his belt and glancing at the unit (no exaggeration), he concluded that the reversing valve needed to be replaced on the outdoor unit and proceeded to quote a 'discounted rate' of $1500. He then proceeded to pitch me on the wonderful advantages of purchasing a new system, especially for resale value, at another 'discounted rate' of $7000+. After researching the valve and the job it would take to replace it, I found a typical rate to be $600-$700. A co-worker lead me to Christopher and Smith, a technician came out the following day. He confirmed that the valve was, in fact, functioning properly, and discovered the true issue was a corroded wire in the attic unit. He quickly replaced the wire and continued to replace a thermostat I had purchased at Lowe's the previous week for me, 'while he was there'. The guy couldn't have been more professional. All in all, I paid just over $100 and the unit is functioning wonderfully. Before you pay for any service by some big name HVAC company, I highly recommend calling C&S. - Brian, service 4/10/15
I recently had a lightning strike that took out both my units. I originally called probably the largest A/C servicer in Lexington and got an estimate of nearly $3000 to fix both units. I was told that my contactors, boards, thermostats and a slew of other components was fried. I got a second opinion from Christopher & Smith. They found that one unit only had a $40 transformer blown and was able to fix the unit in 20 minutes after arriving. The second unit only the board was fried which they charged almost half as much as the other company. In summary a $3000 first estimate from the other company became a $450 service repair from Christopher & Smith because they did the repair honestly.
