In 2003, we had a complicated addition built on our 1864 home. We dealt with a lot of contractors. Rusk stood out at the time, and we decided to just stick with them for all of our heating/AC needs ever since. Never regretted it. Never felt the need to do comparison shopping. When my wife and I had a small business, we strove to make our customers feel that way. So, as far as Rusk goes, mission accomplished!
We had a media air cleaner, air purifier and a UVC lamp installed on our HVAC system to help with my son’s respiratory issues, it has helped tremendously and I cannot thank Rusk enough for installing it!

Rusk Heating and A/C installed my furnace and a/c in 1995. With Rusk's annual maintenance, this unit lasted 27 years. When it was time to replace both, I selected Rusk Heating and A/C for the job. The salesman assessed my needs, configured alternatives and answered all my questions thoroughly. The installation was quick and timely. I highly recommend Rusk Heating and Cooling.
Since I signed on to a Rusk contract for maintenance, a major source of worry about my heating and air conditioning system has gone away. The Company is reliable and helpful, and I have found them conscientious.

We used Rusk to install a HVAC system in our home. Despite many call-backs, the system does not work correctly because they used the wrong components and installed them incorrectly. This is a family business. After they get upset with you they stop responding.
Rusk has maintained my HVAC equipment since 1990. Always on time and responsive to emergencies. No complaints: happy with this company.
Rusk consistently sends polite professional repair men. I am informed about any repairs needed and repair options and cost. They arrive in a timely manner and give 30 minute ahead of arrival call. Appreciate having this business in my community.
Overall good experience, however there was one line-item on my bill that was over-the-top expensive. The rest of the bill was fairly priced. I was getting my AC cleaned, so it was already open and I payed for the inspection/service, then they tac on another $300 to install a capacitor that took him 2 minutes to install.
Simply the best service I have ever experienced with a heating contractor. Needed a new furnace on short order this winter. Later, twice had trouble getting a smart thermostat to work smoothly. Second time decided to revert to what I had been used to. Rusk personnel all along the line were patient, courteous, and prompt well beyond the call of duty. Competent, painstakingly thorough with the installation, understanding on the issue of the smart thermostat. I recommend Rusk without reservation.
My grandmother used Rusk decades ago for their service, price and reliability. They didn’t disappoint then and their reputation remains solid today. It’s no wonder they’ve remained in business all these years. I always recommend them!
We wanted a whole new system in our home. We had several companies come and give estimates. We chose Rusk…the owner came to give the estimate, was extremely knowledgeable and helped us understand what would work best for our home, and gave us a competitive price! His knowledge and personality won us over! Their whole team has been impressive! We would highly recommend them!
