I've used LBA twice in the recent past to replace a failing central air unit and 6 months later a failing furnace. They were great to work with and had reasonable pricing. I am in the process of rehabbing an old house which needed a replacement for a 50+ year old furnace and it's first central air. LBA came in an did a thorough walk-through to perform a thermal analysis to determine the correct solution. They provided a number of different options in different price ranges - with a thorough explanation of the pros and cons of each. Keith did a great job on the pre-work. Randy and Chris were the techs that worked on the installation. They were great to work with and did a fantastic job - not always easy in an old house. Kudos to them for a job well done. I'd recommend LBA to anyone that want's quality work done at a good price. July 7, 2023. Daniel Aguilar worked on my AC today. It had been backing up water and dripping through to the floor and down my floor drain. He did a thorough inspection. Found that the problem was simply a backup from the drain line caused by accumulated debris. Cleaned it, flushed it. Did a thorough system check to make sure that nothing else could be causing the issue. Was very knowledgeable, very friendly. I appreciated his help. I'd be happy to see him again for regular maintenance.
Patrick provided courteous and professional service. Very polite. He explained everything he needed to do and gave me some pointers to help me keep my HVAC system running well. I have been a loyal LBA customer for 20years.
Corbin did a great job on the routine checkup and maintenance of my HVAC. He even noticed a small gas leak from my gas pipe and fixed it. Thank you so much!
I received a text that our tech was on the way. A picture of the tech,Pat with his full name and when he would arrive was very helpful. Pat was very patient and answered all of our questions. Pat was very knowledgeable about air conditioners and explained what was going on with our unit. I would definitely recommend LBA to anyone that has problems with their ac.
had another plumber morning on 23rd plumber tried to clear sewer line without success. told me sewer line was broken and collapsed. LBA had 2 plumbers out said they would try and open, camera was used after snaking line was able to open. also saw no collapse. pricing was reasonable. LBA earned 5 stars
I had a man Tyler come from LBA to maintenance my air conditioner and he was very professional and did a great job!! I would recommend them to anyone. I have to update my review for LBA. I had them come to my business to help with my air conditioning. Steve came out on a very hot day and got one of my units up and running! We had a not very good guy working on our units and he made a mess of my units. He had great communication skills and really knew what needed to be done to get us online again. Thank you so much!! I would recommend LBA if you need a resonable, great value business to help with your air conditioning units. Thanks Steve!!
Thanks for coming out on very short notice right ahead of a holiday weekend to see what was leaking into the basement of our customer, we really appreciated it!
Daniel Aguilar came to fix my old a/c unit after days of my family and I trying to stay cool in the basement. He was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what was wrong with my unit. He replaced my compressor on a Saturday evening and it was back running instantly. We were cool again by morning. Thank you Daniel. Also, Jonathan Martin came to evaluate my plumbing and he knew my toilets and why they were having issues. He gave me a quote and explained to me with great detail about my options and how he could get everything working again. Thank you Jonathan. LBA has all of your household and commercial repairs under one roof and I appreciate their accessibility, service and quality.
Absolutely outrageous how much you can charge. A $50 part and charging $350. Then try to sell a new furnace to you. I’m a single mom barely getting by. Hope this company enjoys ripping people off.
Just used LBA Services for the first time on our AC unit. Very professional and got us taken care of in the same day even. Would highly recommend.
I got home and my AC wasn't working. Of course it was after hours. I called and was able to speak to a live person. She assured me that someone would be able to come first thing in the morning. (She asked if I wanted someone to come that night but I told her I could make it through the night.) I received a call at 8a.m letting me know the tech would be here in 30 minutes. He was able to track down the problem and repair it before it was too hot. Than you.
We had Kaden come out to help us and he did a great job. He was very friendly and helpful by explaining the problem and the process to the solution.
Have done business with LBA for a number of years and have never been disappointed with their sales and service. I highly recommend LBA. Diane Baker Kansas City, Mo.
Pablo did an excellent job on the air conditioners annual maintenance and repair. He was professional and courteous, even when my dog when being disruptive. Great job!
I had them come out and fix my shower faucet and the technician Shane was very informative and did a great job.
If you are going to drive like an a$$ don’t do it in a company vehicle. Reckless driver, doesn’t understand that semi trucks need extra space when turning, honked their horn at me, the ran a red light turning left.
They came right away to look at my air conditioner, they were very professional and kept me informed.
Explained both the current water leak and potential problems found with corroding iron central sewer stack and pvc pipe drain connections while diagnosing, and provided a breakdown of options.
Robert is a wonderful AC technician! He has been our tech 3 times and is always knowledgeable, pleasant and a hard worker!
I used LBA for a simple kitchen faucet replacement. Their service was professional, timely, and of good quality. However, their pricing practices are abysmal, deceptive, and unprofessional. Their home office gave me a quote for the service visit. The fee to send a technician is $120 (non-refundable fee, which is very common practice, no problem here.) But they would not provide a quote for the faucet replacement. How about a rough estimate, or even a price range? Nope. How much could it be, I asked? Simple 60-minute job? Maybe $200? They gave no response. So I scheduled the appointment, trusting in a reputable company charging a fair price. Then on the date of service, the technician walked in and immediately quoted $570 upon arriving at my house. This is their "standard fee for a faucet replacement", he said. Why on earth would the technician know this information while the home office did not? Note that this is their standard fee, and the job could not be more straightforward and simple: remove a Delta faucet, replace it with the exact same Delta model. Cookie-cutter job. 60 minutes. How is the price a mystery? And more importantly, how could it possibly by $570. Rejecting his quote would of course mean that I'd eat the non-refundable $120 service fee. Accepting the quote would subject me to their bait-and-switch. This is the textbook definition of a racket. Any reputable company that is proud of their work and striving to generate repeat customers would provide a fair estimate upfront. Conversely, any company that resorts to strong-arming their customers into a high price for a simple job is led by inexcusable management. I'd like to think this was an un-intentional outcome. But the technician's well-groomed pitch to upsell me on their monthly subscription service (in order to get a discount on the faucet replacement) makes it pretty clear that their pricing practices are quite intentional. Inexcusable.
