First of all lady at Spurling said it would be sometime in the afternoon and she would call first. They showed up at my door unannounced and it wasn't Spurling it was River City. These guys must be a middleman. I told them the system had a leak. That I had put sealer in and added refrigerant last year. I asked him if they had a sniffer or a UV light since the sealer I added had a UV dye. They didn't look for a leak. They put in some refrigerant, said it was 2 lbs. and charged me $350. They did suggest replacing the unit. Installers not repair men. Didn't dawn on me that they didn't give me a receipt until after they were gone.
Spurling HVAC was awesome to deal with. Quick professional service at a reasonable rate, wouldnt use anybody else! Had them retrofit a whole home humidifier to our furnace.
