Had to have a separate person come out beside the individual doing the service to give a quote on a new AC which took two additional days, and then he was late for the appointment, and then he never sent via email the actual quote for a new one! Good grief. Could you design a worse customer service experience?
David was very knowledgeable about my system, and presented some good options regarding my repair.
Shavitz was able to send out a technician quickly when our A/C went out due to flooding. Jonathon was professional and helpful in explaining what needed to be fixed.
Edited cause ac went out a week after it was inspected. Amazing, timely, professional. We feel as if we see in good hands with this company. Mitch was exceptionally helpful, courteous, and thorough and explanations.
Linas was EXCEPTIONAL in his work on a rather complicated HVAC replacement project. He consistently kept us informed about what he was doing, was incredibly careful to keep the area clean, and pointed out how we could fix the problem with our second HVAC installation. I would strongly recommend not only Shavitz for HVAC work, but especially Linas. I owe him a loaf of home-made sourdough bread and will give it to him when he comes back SOON to fix our second unit. Linas is a very valuable asset to Shavitz and should be not only noticed, but rewarded for his professionalism and expertise.
Quote and install process was generally thoughtful, comprehensive, and professional to replace a ductless A/C unit and blower in my home in May. However, I’m still trying to reconcile my final invoiced amount with what I discussed with our sales rep pre-install in terms of additional warranty. There doesn’t seem to be any dedicated post-sales customer service beyond the initial sales rep who is naturally occupied with making new sales (or if there is I haven’t been able to find it).
David was great. Explained the problem in detail and laid out all of our options. Would recommend.
My technician (Eros I.) was super professional and knowledgeable. If I owned an AC company I would totally steal him away. Will definitely use the company again!
Jose did an exceptional job of communicating and and was very professional. I would like to have him do all my checkups!
Gregory did a great job. I will request him at my next service call. On the negative side, at the previous visit of Shavitz. I was not told that the filter was in terrible shape and definitely needed to be changed. This visit was needed because of a clogged drain and I am surprised that drain was not thoroughly cleaned by the previous tech. Could it clog so quickly??
Another scheduled maintenance visit with one of their stellar employees. Everything explained and done promptly.

It was our summer chick up for our AC-there was a replacement for a part. My only issue was I wish Enos would have given the broken part

Demarius is a great service tech. He answered my silly questions with all the patience in the world. He is courteous and intelligent. The one take away is:If ur going to be late…send a quick text to the client communication is important. Shavits has a great team, period!
My technician was absolutely incredible! I was really nervous as a new homeowner to have someone come out fearful of over exaggerated recommendations, but my technician was amazing and walked me through what was need to do versus nice to do which gave me all the confidence in world to sign up for regular maintenance with Shavitz. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone needing service for HVAC in the north shore! Call them!
Courteous assistance with the timing and arrival of the technician from both the front office and the field tech himself, everyone dreads the "four hour windows" allotted with similiar appointments. Also showed care and respect for the property during the inspection. Nice experience!
I have the utmost regard for Miguel, Tim, and Sean Rankin, their project manager. They answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. Compared to other companies that I considered, Shavitz was most thorough and most scientific. Sean made me aware of the energy related incentives available with my new unit while the others didn't mention it. This installation was challenging because my condo development is a converted apartment building with the HVAC unit located in a small closet space; and I have a first floor unit; imagine working in a crowded space while having to string some connections up to the roof. It's not easy but Tim and Miguel handled it well. The new HVAC unit is far quieter than the old one in my condo unit. Miguel was a real trooper since he had to work the second day of installation by himself, going between my unit and the roof. He clearly likes his job. And when he packed up his gear, you would have never known that anyone was working in my unit for two days; it was very clean.
